    USHEALTH Advisors - Chad Efron
Chad successfully refined the cumbersome medical insurance processes into relevant understandable terms. Together we created a coverage plan, at a reasonable cost, that will meet my insurance needs in the coming years. I highly recommend USHEALTH Advisors.

    Gillespie, Dr. William T.
I enjoyed meeting Dr. Gillespy and felt he explained my procedure in detail. The negative side... I was given a quote and I agreed. I have had a lot of major dental work and paid out of pocket. I was given two pills to take before my procedure that I filled and took. After procedure my husband who drove me was paying and qotey was more than what I was told. Next day I realized I had another patients bill. I called and was told 250.00 more because I had and quot;conscious sedation. I was given prescription befor my procedure and never told of extra cost.
My bill wasn't reduced and question who monitored me for 250.00. Seems very expensive and should have been informed at time we talked about taking two pills. Just don't like surprises!

    Update Oct. 8 2014

Just recently spoke with his office and we all agreed simple misunderstanding. Very pleased with how Dr. Gillespies' office handled this situation. Would recommend.

    Columbia Eye Clinic Ctr
Beware! Went for a routine eye exam which is allowed once a year under the terms of my insurance which also provides for a small co-payment for the exam. When I went to check out I was told that I would have to pay a higher co-payment because the doctor had indicated that I have and quot;dry eyeand quot; syndrome. I do not have dry eye syndrome. Dry eye syndrome was never discussed. As a matter of fact, the words and quot;dry eyeand quot; have never come up in any discussion I have ever had with any doctor or staff at and medical facility, including Columbia Eye Clinic. I explained this situation to the staff at checkout and payed the smaller co-payment, but a couple of weeks latter I received am explanation of benefits from my insurance carrier indicating they were billed for the and quot;dry eyeand quot; exam and diagnosis. Then I received a bill from Columbia Eye Clinic for the payment of a higher co-payment. I put my concerns in writing asking them to remove the false diagnosis, and to correct the billing to me and to my insurance carrier. In response, I received a certified letter from there CEO telling me to take my business elsewhere. I do not know if this was an honest mistake on the part of the doctor or if it was intentional. The result is Columbia Eye Clinic makes make money, and is unwilling to correct their error. For me, I do not find Columbia Eye Clinic to be trustwory and have no problem obtaining my routine eye exams elsewhere.

Every thing went just fine and I got a thorough skin screening. She informed me of the after care for my removals. Her staff is a good support for her and I am overall happy with this office.

    Gentle Dentistry of Lexington
The last time I was in there, the dentist made me feel uncomfortable. The staff was nice, but the dentist unresponsive to my questions and made a snide remark under his breath. He was so busy that he had the nurse do work that I didn't feel like she should be doing. I would not use him again, but I've heard of worse.

    Subba Rao MD
After 2 years of struggling with Post Partum issues and just not being able to get back to my and quot;normaland quot; self, we decided to explore ADHD. I was very leary after the first visit that Dr. Rao was the right doctor for me because he doesn't seem to listen to you and continuously interrupts. I didn't receive any ADHD questionnaires nor was he concerned about the history of my health. ADHD medication is highly controlled and an addictive medication. I was surprised how quickly he was willing to prescibe me these meds after such a short time in his office. At no time, did he mention counseling, psychotherapy or anything. My primary care physician had already prescribed me a low dose so I had been on the meds for approximately one month prior to this visit. Dr. Rao did ask me if it was working and I said, well I do seem to be more productive so if that's working, then yes. Next, he asked me if I needed a higher does. REALLY? If it's working, why throw a higher does? What happened to a thorough evaluation?
I need to add that I am in the military and needed military documentation for taking these meds. Long story short, they had some staff changes going on during this time and some information was extremely misconstrued, miscommunicated, etc. I asked for a supervisor when the receptionist and myself were no longer effectively communicating. The receptionist became frustrated and could no longer remain professional. Indicating to me, there was no one else in the office and she was the best that I was getting. At that point, I said that I would be taking my business elsewhere. Well, thought that was the end of that.
At 9:03pm that same night, as I am getting my children to bed, I receive a phone call from Dr. Rao. He immediately starting throwing accusations as to how I was allegedly behaving toward his staff. Stating I was beligerant, calling names and harrassing his staff. I get sick to my stomach just repeating this in writing because it was a blatant lie. I asked him, how could he make such accusations when he was no in the office. I tried to difuse Dr. Rao, asking him to lower his voice and to consider his tone. It was as if he was taunting and trying to get some sort of rise out of me. Not sure why, but this was the most bazaar behavior, especially from a Physician in the Psychiatry field. I was in shock. All I could think about were all the soldiers and others out there that have even more difficult issues than I do and how they may be getting treated.
The most alarming part of it all was the willingness to throw such highly addictive meds to a person with little to no questions or concerns. It's no surprise so many people are addictived to prescription meds. Dr. Rao is definitely a enabler to this epedemic and truly the most uncompassionate doctor I have ever met. I wish there was some way I could have proven this behavior because I would be taking steps to have his creditials stripped from him. He has no business in the mental health profession but maybe he does belong in a mental health facility as a patient.
