AJoe The MoverWe have used Joe the Mover twice. The first time they unloaded our truck into a storage unit. When it came time to move into our new home, they weren’t available and we had to use a different company. Let’s just say they were no where near as good as Joes guys. When we decided to move back to SC we of course called Joe to pack up our house. The guys are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They treated our items like their own and when we arrived at our new home, not one thing had moved in the truck. These guys know what they are doing!! Joe even gave us the name of a mover here in Myrtle Beach to unload our truck. He went out of his way to accommodate our closing date changes and made our move as easy as possible. If you need a moving company you have to call Joe the Mover!!! I promise you won’t be disappointed.- Christine R.

AMakin MovesThis review is long overdue! Makin Moves was wonderful. We moved out of our large rental home and used a different company to move us out. It was supposed to be a two day move because of the closing date for our new house. We were so unhappy with the first movers that I called Makin Moves that day to see if they could do the unloading of the two large trucks the following day. They accommodated us last minute and had as many movers as I requested (and an extra one!). They protected our home and were so careful with everything. They were organized and efficient. The movers were so respectful and nice and honestly lightened the stress of the move by a lot! They went above and beyond - I think they knew how stressful our move had been, between having to move out before the closing date and having two toddlers and two dogs with us, to the awful movers we had before them. So they went above and beyond by making us laugh, complimenting our new house, and just being awesome overall. We cannot recommend them enough. They were actually a pleasure to have around. AFairway Moving ServicesFairway Moving Services was outstanding! We had a lot to move, including 3 armoires and a piano and two flights of stairs to manage. Not a single item was damaged nor was a wall or floor even scuffed. Each man on the crew was exceedingly polite and took the greatest care. It was a very long day for all of us, and while they worked quickly they also were patient enough to rearrange pieces a few times at our new location. They were as pleasant at the end of the day, when they certainly must have been exhausted, as they had been at the first of the morning. FTerrible, when I went to storage it looked like things were just thrown in there, When we got to the new house many things were broken and damaged, things that can' be replaced. Damage done to antiques, new furniture and appliacencs. I have called the owner left text message about insurance and nothing back. Made a couple of things for the owner and I haven't been paid for them. Gave me a price of $510 and we paid $1100. We are very upset over the way our things were treated and that they have not responded back to me on putting in a claim with thier insurance company. I will not recommend this company. Very disappointed.

AAwesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

AThe call came from work and asked me to move as soon as I could. I hired Moving APT to hurry up the moving process. They were just brilliant. I think some levels of trust are really needed between the client and the moving company because essentially you are entrusting them with everything you own. The movers were very good at building trust. They listened to me, paid attention to packing and carried everything with extra caution. Even the guy on the phone when I first called them seemed very friendly and polite. I felt very comfortable leaving my valuables in their hands for 3 days. When they delivered everything on the due date, there was no harm caused to anything at all. Turns out these men are the best in business and hiring them was a no brainier.
