AMata Company Landscaping ServiceHe was here for 4 hours & it went well. He got their a little late but it was no problem. He got the tree debris up & the wood floor had to be pulled away from it's spot, which he did with his truck, in order for it to be broken up & hauled away. I was very pleased.- Terry D.

APROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICEImpressed. Showed up a little early, went right to it, and finished in something like an hour and a half. Three guys. And these trees were in a place that they would have done considerable damage if they had fallen badly, too. It was clear to me that the men really knew what they were doing.

ATURF ARTISTRYTurf Artistry is the 3rd company that we have used in 7 years. They are the first company that explained our turf and weed issues knowledgeably. They treated the entire 2015 season and we had the finest lawn in the neighborhood. They followed up on any issues immediately. I highly recommend them to anyone!

FThe Grounds Guys of the MidlandsIt didn't go well at all. The flowers were little-bitty and I paid them half of it. When I got home, I had him come back and get them. But I had already paid half so I lost that half that I never got back from him. It was a really bad deal with them. Had the flowers been what he told me, I would have paid the price. I let him aerate and I paid him cash for that work. I was very disatisfied and I called the manager and told him. The owner said, "Well, you'll have to talk to the guy that told you all of that." I said, "Because you are the owner I'm letting you know right away that there is a problem." But he said I had to deal with that guy. So, that was no good either. It was hard to get a hold of them but they would call 2 or 3 days later or you would have to try multiple times throughout the day. It felt like they were not a true company as it seemed like a fly by night deal.- Janet R.

FA-Z LAWN MOWER PARTSI wasn't happy with them at all. They definitely need to improve everything because I had them not only do some work on a lawn mower, I tried to be fair to give them a chance. When I brought it to their attention that they really hadn't done anything, they took it back for a couple of hours and got it going but as soon as I got back home and tried to use it, the belt tore up instantly. The lawn mower was basically almost brand new and I spent more in their servicing than I paid for the lawn mower. I bought it for about $125 and then after taking it to them, I had to pay $200 just for them to change blades and do some carburetor work.- Alvertes W.

FYardscapes LandscapingThe grass installation went well although Nick did not get the grass from "Super Sod" that he told me would be put down because he said they were out; therefore, he got it from another company. However, he charged me for a new sprinkler remote panel box and repairs, but the sprinkler still did not work. I had to cut the sprinkler on by hand but was concerned about two wires under the valve handle that may eventually break from my turning. I called him, and he told me he would be out April 28 or 29 about the sprinkler not working. He did not come out until after May 5 when I sent him a letter. He could not find out why the sprinkler would not work and called his sprinkler person who told me he could not fix it, to call an electrician, which I did. I paid an electrician to put a new wire from the outside of my home to the sprinkler valve to cut the sprinkler on automatically. On March 7 I paid Nick $1,800, 50% down. On April 22 I paid him $2,010. He said the grass cost an extra $200.00. The contract was for me to pay him $3,600 but he charged an extra $200 for the grass. On April 24 I paid him another $200 for the sprinkler repair. He was paid a total of $4,210.
During August I called Nick to come look at my grass because it was turning brown, and I didn't want weeds or B'haia grass to start growing in my yard. He did not come out but said it had rained recently, and the grass probably was getting too much water and that I should cut the watering back to one hour every other day instead of one hour each day. My grass started turning more brown and weeds were starting to grow in the grass. I called him to come out again, and he said he would be out the next week but finally came two weeks later. He said the grass was too dry, that it cracked when he walked on it, and to put the sprinkler on for two hours every day which I did. He also told me to put "Weed B Gone" on the weeds and to pull them up by hand which my husband and I did. I left the sprinkler on for two hours every day though September, but the grass did not come back; the weeds did.
September 15 I called Nick to come look at my grass and tell me what we could do to help it, that it looked dead. I still have not heard from him as of October 14. His contract says that his business guarantees that all work will be completed. I have properly maintained the grass according to what he has told me. He has not communicated with me when I needed his help.
Because of Nick's refusal to come check my grass promptly, his extra expense, and his lack of communication, I can not recommend his work.

AAll Good Lawn & Tree Service LLCJohn looked at it and determined his crew could take it down, but when they actually started to work on it and realized how rotten the trunk of the tree is, they decided it was not safe for them to continue the work without a bucket truck. They were able to cut away many dead limbs and take down a very large dead branch that was hung up in the tree. They left our yard neat and hauled away all of the debris. They refunded most of the deposit we had paid up front, and recommended another contractor that does have a bucket truck. We appreciated John's honesty and his concern for the safety of his tree climber and other crew.
