    Stonehaven Remodeling Services
Stonehaven Remodeling just completed a multi-room remodeling project for me and I couldn't be more pleased. The general contractor, Stacy Beam, and all of the tradesmen necessary for my project were professional, nice to deal with, and did quality work. I highly recommend Stonehaven Remodeling!

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
Kevin was a pleasure to work with, he kept me well informed throughout the process and performed well above my expectations. I had other companies come for estimates and they all said the space was too narrow to get into, but Falcone accepted the challenge and Kevin performed the work flawlessly. The customer support from start to finish was fantastic, something you seldom see these days in the contractor industry. Keep up the good work everyone!!

    Fan Man
I thought they did a good job. Until last week - one of their workmen stepped on a pipe in the attic, broke it and did not report the breakage. Seven months later, I have an interior wall with extensive water damage due to the broken pipe in the attic. My plumber checked the entire plumbing system before I had the Fan Man in to do his work. Extremely unhappy with the results. Gave a lousy review because the worker did not tell of the pipe he broke - Fan Man were the only ones in the attic since I had the plumber do his maintenance check. It was a big pipe - too hard to miss and it was broken in two pieces. Now I have the additional cost of plumbing, and drywall repair, painters....ARGHGGHHH

Dry Pro Foundation and Crawlspace Specialists
The entire process was seamless. From the initial quotation from Jeremy, he walked through all the details and provided a quote on the spot. To the actual installation where the crew Tony, Jose and Royce arrived exactly when they were scheduled, great installation job and finally a job site that was left clean without debris. Thanks to ALL. Would definitely hire again!

    Standard Insulating Company
The work went extremely well. The company did exactly what they said they would do at the price they quoted. The workers installed a radiant barrier using Fi-Foil, added blown in insulation and installed an insulated zip cover over the pull down steps access. During the past months, temperatures have been well into the nineties but the temperature of the attic has remained significantly below temps which were into the 120s in past years. The A/C air handler works in a lower temperature environment and the upstairs bedrooms are cooler than in past summers. I haven't done a quantitative check on electric bills but have noticed that the A/C does not run nearly as often as in summers past even though the temperatures have been higher outside. As far as the company's response, I contacted them on a Monday, the salesman showed up the following day, and the installers installed on Friday. WOW, what a response! I couldn't be more pleased with Standard Insulating Company!

We are very pleased with their work. We had another company come out and they were so much higher. Their price was pretty good considering what they did for us. They really worked with us, we went back and forth with them trying to decide how much we wanted them to do. They priced out each part of the job so we could pick and choose what we wanted done. What I like about this is that we were debating weather to do the crawl space or just the attic area so we could decide what we wanted done or if we wanted them to do some now and some later.

    Handyman At Hand

The actual provider was not well equipped or able to perform many of the services that I needed. I sent him a detailed list via text message and confirmed that list with him prior to the day of service. He brought along a helper who knew more on how to repair things, had his own tools, and worked faster, harder and more efficiently.

I made two attempts to contact the provider before he contacted me with a vague schedule. I told him in the first text message that the house was on the market for sale and that I needed the work done immediately. I even said that I was aware that the nice weather was coming soon and needed to get his services done before it got too busy. We finally made an appointment. He said he would bring a helper to get more work done and quicker. NO other dialogue took place, nothing at all, especially nothing at all about paying for his helpers time, or extra for anything except supplies(which was obvious).

He was to arrive at 9:30am but arrived closer to 10:45, (I know that because I did not arrive until 9:35 and saw him pull in to the development and he took some time to get out of his vehicle and finally get to my front door). He was not prepared to work right away, talks way too much. I was uncomfortable with his apparent slowness so I went to Lowe's with him to purchase and pay for the needed materials myself (I felt a lack of trust for some reason, as did the other home owner). The other home owner stayed with the helper (the other home owner even commented to me upon our return what a hard worker the helper was). The provider could not find many of the supplies needed on his own, I had to help and was able to move faster than him in locating and picking up items, etc. He even had a list with him and forgot the outdoor spot lights until I reminded him. I had to wait on him to figure out many things, he wasted so much time in the store, running back and forth in circles.

He told me before we entered Lowe?s that Angie?s List would not be enough for his time and his helpers time. In our conversation I asked him what he meant. He said that he gets $65. per hour and it would be 4 hours for him and 4 hours for his helper. Before we even entered the store, I made it clear to him that I pre-paid for ?his? special with Angie?s List. He said he knew that, and I clarified that I was paid in full before I would even step foot in to the store. He did not say one more word (nor did I).

He stopped for food or gasoline before we returned to my house. He was slow to work and had to ask the helper many questions. What he did work on was done poorly. For example, he said he did simple plumbing, but was baffled about how to change the item causing the problem. He praised himself after completing the first of four changesfor ?getting it?. I actually had to redo two items and will redo one more this week. One of the top things I needed done was power washing my fence. His helper spent at least one hour back and forth trying to start the machine, with the provider watching and doing nothing. The machine did not work at all. Both took a one hour lunch. They worked for eight hours total, no more than that, we kept an eye on the time as to not go over the allotted and paid for time.  They stopped work by 6:30 pm ? that is 8 hours in my book (minus the one hour lunch).

After all that could be was done and the other home owner left the house, the provider said that we would settle the bill after he put his things away. I was completely baffled. I paid Angie?s List in advance. He came back in the house and proceeded to tell me that I would owe him over $300. more. He said the he arrived at 9:15, took 1/2 hour lunch and used a box of nails at $30. Plus he said that I had to pay for his helper?s time. I explained to him 3-4 times that I was not prepared to pay more, that we already had that conversation, that  I already paid Angie?s List, and all he did was repeat what he said about, time, helper and supplies. He also took some supplies that I paid for. He said that the Angie?s List ad would not be enough money for him and his helper. He seemed uncomfortable, almost sly, and left. He has called me twice and sent me an email. I refuse to pay extra for his helpers service because I was unaware of any such thing prior to making the appointment, the nature of the ad did not indicate that I would have to pay any more than I did, the fact that he did not comment any further after our conversation at Lowe's and the terrible job that he himself did of the little that he did do.

I had to go out and buy a power washer to do my fence as a result of his machinery not working at all.

After showing a neighbor they agreed that some of the work done was poor quality ( his work ).

I would like to submit a couple of photos but do not know how to attach to this. Your help is requested.

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Environmental Cleaning & Restoration Solutions
First it took the company forever to call us to set up an appointment
The two young men who came to do the work were late, didn't have the equipment to do the job and had to rush around to a variety of Lowe's trying to find the equipment and the material that would allow them do the job.
They suggested that their blow-in insulation was better because is wasn't urea formaldehyde (they didn't say what it was, but it was torn up styrofoam which is less effective insulation)
One person was somewhat experienced;  the other wasn't.
They couldn't get the equipment to work initially.
The cover for the attic drop-down was a cludgy affair made out of styrofoam sheet with cuts outs for the rafters.
It was like the Keystone Cops. What should have taken an hour took the entire morning, and I was completely unimpressed.  I would absolutely not use this company again.  In the future, i would ask what the specific skills a company that is restoration and Eco-whatever really means.  I think this was a way of doing fill-in work, which they did not have the equipment to do.
    Very unprofessional. Skip them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out just fine. We paid an additional amount because the deal didn’t cover all the work we had them do. It was kinda misleading because they come in with that amount but to make it effective, then you need to seal it and do other stuff. They did a good job. What they did would make sense but I just felt like it was a typical bait-and-switch kind of thing. I just thought I was gonna get the insulation and that would be it but I added more stuff that I really didn’t need. Sure, it was all good but it was kinda misleading. I really didn’t check the job because you have to go through quite a bit to open it up to go up and look. Our air conditioning unit doesn’t run as much as it had been and our bill is still fluctuating but it wasn’t really significant.
