    Stonehaven Remodeling Services
Stonehaven Remodeling just completed a multi-room remodeling project for me and I couldn't be more pleased. The general contractor, Stacy Beam, and all of the tradesmen necessary for my project were professional, nice to deal with, and did quality work. I highly recommend Stonehaven Remodeling!

    D & D Drywall & Painting
D&D Drywall and Paint were excellent. I used them after a water leak in our laundry room caused damage to the floor and first floor ceiling. They repaired the ceiling drywall and painted the entire ceiling - it looks as good as new. They also installed a new flooring in the laundry room, added new moldings, painted the laundry rooms and installed some new laundry room cabinets I had purchased. They were incredibly responsive, they were here 3 days and always right on time, they covered everything with protective tarp and cleaned up everything. They advertise as Drywall & Paint - but - they are able to do much more than that. Highly recommend.

Chris did an excellent job with our bathroom renovation from the tile work to the plumbing and all other details. He did a complete renovation for us from demolition of the old bathroom down to bare walls and installation of a complete finished new bathroom with tile shower and floors His work is of excellent quality with care for all details. He was pleasant to work with, flexible with any requests, neat, clean,on time, and caring for our home. All work was done in a professional manner and we are truly pleased with the result. Finding a quality fair priced honest contractor is not easy and in this respect Chris is "Gem" of a find.

JC Aho was fantastic. He came in and looked at our foyer floor and asked us to pick out the tile for installation. Once we picked out the tile, JC scheduled the install. He and his team worked diligently with no downtime and were very cautious and careful with the surroundings. They covered surrounding floors and furniture to protect from dust. They even came back during the evening hours to put the final touches on the floor to get the work finished. JC and his team were very meticulous with the install and kept me notified with any questions or issues along the way. They even secured a laundry sink that had come loose from the wall for me, which included adjusting some of the plumbing. This was over and above the job! I would definitely have Construction-USA back for future work.

    The Flooring Pro's Inc.
The carpet install started fairly professionally but ended in the disaster of 7 upholstered pieces of my Great Room and Dining Room furniture damaged and ruined by rain. My furniture was stored outside on my own cover deck and it rained, a big downpour. I don't know how long it was left in the rain but when they brought it back inside they put it directly on my brand new Snow White carpeting allowing all that water to drip and drain inside on the carpeting. I tried to remain calm as I gathered a hairdryer, towels and turn the over head fan on. The Flooring Pro's Installers left the project and never came back and never helped me dry my furniture out. As I began to attempt to dry my furniture I realized several pieces were completely saturated in the frame of the furniture. I removed cushion covers , searched for more towels because the five that I used or saturated with water. I called Debbie Henry, my sales person who had been awesome in that experience. She forwarded all my photos and videos and text concerns to the install manager . I was asked to " wait until the morning to address the rain damage to 7 pieces of upholstered furniture. Of course this was unacceptable knowing how graded some of my pieces were and I surely did not want them to sit with water all night. Three hours later flooring pros arrived at my house with a home size shop vac which I had strongly requested to extract as much water as possible despite Flooring Pros very limited sense of urgency to this disaster. I was thankful though it was 3 hours for the water to more fully be absorbed into fabric cushion covers , frames and decking of my love seat and brand new wingback chair. They attempted to extract rain water for about an hour at my house but the shop vac was a very low Strank's and though it was a professional response that evening it didn't work. When they left that night four hours after the disaster, I said to him, " my it is still wet and he responded yes it will be ". Flooring Pros Inc / Charlotte response: NO response initiated by Flooring Pros. None. Not a phone call or email from the owner who's name is Jason Watson, nor was there a phone call or email initiated by a manager flooring pros. Debbie, the sales person did call and ask what she could do though she was just the sales lady and referred me to contact the Gen Manager whom had been unprofessional, not apologetic, and Never came to see the unfinished carpet project nor the damage. Flooring Pros recommended I call a Fabric expert and she and hey did speak on the phone for 20 minutes because I called her. She and I agreed that a shop vac professional piece of equipment that was three times more powerful should be used to extract more water even though a full Nick had passed. The appointment was set and when the technician arrived at my house to extract more water, he did not bring the piece of equipment and said he intentionally had planned only to look at the furniture. I was So very very disappointed that the last resort of extracting more water from my furniture was going to really work. After the disaster, The One phone call which was a return phone call from the general manager Arlo, 4 weeks later, he did not offer an apology, nor regret, he simply asked what I wanted. I told him at this point that my furniture has been saturated in the frames and three of my pieces were brand new I would have to ask for replacement. I have sent flooring pros all my photos and a video of that evening with my hairdryer and wet t towels drying over my banister after soaking up as much water as I could by myself. I am waiting to hear from Flooring Pros for a fair compensation and an appropriate Apology or even acknowledgement from Jason Watson the owner!!! Martha Hubbell

    Precision Home Improvement
We struck gold when we found Precision Home Improvement! Chris and Tom are gems!!! They could not be nicer, more professional or more knowledgeable. We first used Precision about 9 months ago. We wanted non-standard sized French doors installed in a hallway and we could not find ANYONE who could do it until we found Precision through Angies list. After being told by three contractors that they couldnt help us, we finally found one who knew what he was doing CHRIS!!! He knew how to get the right doors for us how to best install them to accomplish what we were looking for. We now have beautiful doors that we get a lot of compliments on. We just had them back to install bathroom floor and wall tiles and, again, the job was perfect. It was not an easy job because we chose very large tiles for the floor, so there was a lot of cutting they had to do to make them fit. Chris and Tom came promptly every morning, they were friendly and professional at all times, they worked quietly and efficiently, and when they finished the job, they cleaned up so well youd never know we just had work done. And the bathroom is GORGEOUS. We are so happy with the end result. We fully expect to be contacting them again in the near future for another job we would not think of going anywhere else!!! You cannot go wrong if you hire Precision Home Improvement!!!

We needed to renovate our master bath. Sal and his men are true professionals. From demolition to the finished product everything went smoothly. He came promptly to give an estimate and made suggestions to help us decide where to purchase tile. A garden tub needed to be removed and the shower extended. New plumbing was needed along with new shower and floor tile. A frameless, doorless enclosure was added. A new vanity, linen cabinet and granite countertop were replaced, as were all hardware and lighting, Sal's tile work is creative and impeccable. It is simply beautiful. His team are superior craftsmen. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Sal and his team at Stonecraft .

    Above & Beyond Home Repair
Here's what's happening for the past 3 months. 6/6 I contacted Luke for a repair job for the water damaged floor and drywall in the foyer area. 6/20 He visited the house for estimation and sent an invoice as below. - Remove hard wood flooring and glue; replace with new hardwood flooring: $215 - Remove water damaged Drywall; replace with new, prime and paint: $150 - Material: $227 - Tax (7.25%): $43 - Total: $635 (terms: half ($317.50) due upon start-up; half ($317.50) due upon completion.) - I paid $317.50 via Paypal on 6/20. 6/22 Appointment scheduled at 9am. He canceled it due to his family emergency. 6/23 He arrived, but we had to cancel it due to our family emergency. He asked me to pay the remainder ($317.50) of the charge and I replied I'll pay the remainder after the job done. 6/25 Appointment scheduled at 9am. He arrived earlier at 7:34am and left when we returned home at 9am. 6/27 He removed the floor and ordered the floor part from Lowes. 7/24 I asked him about the part status. He replied he will check. 7/26 I asked him about the part status. He replied Lowes lost the order and he will check. 7/31 I asked him about the part status. He replied he will check. 8/2 I asked him about the part status. He replied he got a refund from Lowes and reordered it. 8/16 I asked him about the part status. He replied itll take 7-10 days for delivery. 8/22 I asked him about the part status. He replied on 8/23 it should be there by now. 8/30 I asked him about the part status. He replied hed wait until Monday (9/4) and will switch the vendor if not. 9/5 I asked him about the part status. He replied hell get the part from other vendors later in week. 9/11 I asked him about the part status. He replied he was told by Lowes it was delivered twice and he cant afford to buy it once again and maybe by end of week he can. I asked for the tracking numbers and he didnt share. I informed Ill call him tomorrow (9/12). 9/12 I called him twice and he didnt respond. I texted twice and he replied he is busy. Conclusion: Ive contacted Luke 10 times to check the status of the floor part and I got nothing but the ugly floor left undone for over two months. I hated to keep asking for the part status, which I never needed before with any other contractors. I will never contact him again. Enough is enough. I want a refund.

    Empire Today
Terrible - the new flooring was installed and removed twice (3 floors have been installed, 6 installers have been to the house problem has still not resolved. When putting down the laminate they ruined the vinyl in the kitchen. Empire said they would put laminate in but I would have to pay for "labor". How can the BBB give them an A+ rating with all the complaints they have received?
