    Latta Automotive
I was involved in an auto accident in Latta, SC. When the cops told me the vehicle would have to be towed, I asked for a body shop. Latta Automotive towed my car FOUR blocks to their shop. When I found out they do not do body work, the owner said he'd tow it there, you could see the body shop from his shop, for an thirty dollars. He then said I'd have to pay him the total $280, including what he was going to charge the insurance company for the four block tow. He also says the storage charge is $40 a day after 24 hours. We took our personal effects from the vehicle.

When the insurance company finally checked it out and had it towed to my place, the convertible top has been pulled and torn off the frame around the windows on both sides. I called  him and he lies and says he picked it up from the wreck that way!!! When we took our personal effects out of the car at his shop, the top was perfect and did not leak.  He better hopes it does not leak. What a lying jerk!!!

Please do not give, someone with these kind of business ethics, your hard earned money.

Jackson's Eagle Auto Services Florence Sc
I called Jackson's (Eagle) auto services and told the woman owner that I had a Diagnostic done elsewhere on my car and that the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced.  I have the print out from an Auto Parts store.  She told me that "the Diagnostic they use were crap" and they would have to do another diagnostic, that her machine was expensive and better and she would have to charge me $60 to start.  I brought the car there, never heard from them 2 days latter so I called and the woman with the English accent insisted she called me to tell me to pick up my car, but she never really called me.  I went to get my car and they said they had no paper work ready and the car wasn't worked on...so I left it there 2 more days because the message never got thru to the machanic to repair my car...I called again 2 days latter and the machanic said my car was ready and fixed...the bill I paid was $370. but the "check engine lights" were still on.  He said the lights would go off as "soon as the stuff blew out of my car.

A week latter I called Jackson's Eagle to tell them my check engine lights were still on and again he told me not to worry about it they would eventually go off.  I felt something was wrong so I took my car to another machanic in another shop and he told me that Jackson's replaced the wrong parts...and the broken parts were still in the car, also that he would have charged me $200 for the same job, and that he had fixed several other cars that were overcharged and not repaired from Jacksons. He said he could fix it but that it wouldn't be fair for me to be charged again and he called Jackson"s to tell them that.  They lied and said that they told me to come back that they had put in the wrong parts, which was a lie.

I called Jacksonsn and asked the owner with the English accent if I could have my money back since they did not repair my car and charged me $370, she said, "You Stupid Bloody B****, you are supposed to bring your car back here like it says on the bottom of your contract instead of going to another Repair place and having another machanic look at out work."  Needless to say I won't bring my car there and reported them to the Better Bussiness Bureau and Angie's List.  I am taking them to small claims court.  What a horrible experience....they over charge me and didn't even fix my car and were extremely rude, crude and theives.

Since then I have heard of several other people that we cursed at and treated the same way I was and they had to bring their car to another shop to be repaired.
