    it was a terrible experience. They put three holes in our leather sofas that we had bought a month before. The base of my reclining love seat got bent as they left it balancing on a rolling 20"dolly after I had told them it needed to be moved. The mover argued with me and said it would be fine, After they left, I tried to use the recliner and reached between the seat and the inside of the arm. There were nails popping out on the inside and it had cut the seat of the cushion. I am assuming he nails popped out when the frame was bent on the dolly as they weren't there before; as I said, it was only a month old. They also put a hole in the back of the sofa. I spoke to the owner and he said they had an upholstery company on site who would fix it. So, they picked up the love seat the next day. At that time, the plan was to repair that and fix the sofa when the upholstery repair man could get the materials. When the workers came the next day, one was very angry about having to come back and said "they don't pay me enough for this sh.." My husband called the owner and told him what that worker had said and that he was not to come back to our house. When they returned the love seat, the workers couldn't maneuver it through the front door and put another scratch on it. The workers clearly weren't skilled as they had a very difficult time lifting the couches which were heavy. The owner was to call us when the materials came in to repair both pieces. He indicated it would take a couple of weeks but we haven't heard from him in several weeks.

    Showed up promptly.   Head man brought folder with papers and first thing he did was have  me sign 3 or 4 documents with rules, policies and also the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill which he signed in 4 places with a rapid, distinctive signature.  Payment was required by cash or debit card only.  After they had moved items to new home, head man was given debit card for payment and I assume he used the old fashioned press devise to record name and account number and amount ($1567.33).  He gave me a receipt which was the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill after I paid and he signed it again 4 times like he did when he arrived that morning and gave it to me as a receipt and everything appeared to be in order as far as payment was concerned.  I didn't sign this copy and never gave it a thought until Friday evening when my wife was checking our bank account on line and asked me about the amount which was $100.00 more than the amount on my Bill of Lading and Freight Bill.
         I called All My Sons Moving and Storage Monday morning and spoke with Larry and requested to speak to someone about a payment issue on a recent move.  He informed me that he was one of the  managers and could help me.  I told him I wanted to find out why I had signed a debit for $1567.33  and my Bill of Lading and Freight Bill total charges was $1567.33 and my bank account showed a debit for $1667.33.  He informed me Monday was their busiest day and he would look for the "hard copy" of my bill and get back to me but it probably wouldn't be that day.  I really tried to be as courteous as I could be and informed him that I would think the company would want to resolve an issue like this in a timely manner and at some point while I was talking he angrily stated "wait a minute" and put me on hold for less than a  minute and had the "hard copy"  Had a bad attitude by that time and started going over charges for labor, transportation, etc and I informed him I had no problem with the price and that I only wanted to know about the discrepancy between my debit card receipt ($1557.33) and Bill of Lading and Freight Bill total charges  ($1557.33).  HIs only reply about 3 times was everything is in order and you were charged correctly.  I asked him what his total was on the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill and he stated $1667.33.  I asked if he had a copy of my debit receipt and he said he did and I asked the total and he informed  me it was $1667.33.  I asked if the 6 looked like it possibly could have been changed from a 5 and he and he stated "Good Day Sir" and hung up on me.  I took my debit receipt and Bill of Lading and Freight Bill to my bank and waited for a manager who informed the amount could not be changed on a debit receipt and I should call and ask for  my money back but they couldn't do anything.
         Before talking with Larry  at All My Sons, I thought there could be some sort of explanation for this.  Like I mentioned above, I signed a Bill of Lading and Freight Bill as soon as the movers arrived and was given another after paying when the job was done.The last one was completely filled out and signed four times and initialed twice by the mover in my presence with a total of $1557.63 but not signed by me.  I didn't give this any thought at the time and assumed that this along with my debit receipt was sufficient.
         The move from  my old house  seemed to go ok although I found new scratches and indented areas in my old home.  In  my new home I noted a 36 inch and a 21 inch scratch/indented area where they pushed  my washing machine over hardwood floors and informed the 2 of the movers of this and just asked them to please be careful of the floors.  There are many small scratches and scrapes where they carried furniture. When they left the lead mover told  me I could go to Home Depot and buy a pencil to cover this up and you wouldn't be able to tell it and I didn't even reply.  After they left I found 5 gouged out areas in the hall.  I didn't complaint because I didn't figure it would go anywhere and it would take a lot  more than a touch up pencil.

    Fantastic. The 4 person crew did a great job, very professional, friendly and were able to complete the job in 4 hours. They solely picked up furniture pieces. They were super on the delivery end, assisting with placement of items and allowing felt pads to protect newly finished hardwood floors to be placed before placing furniture on floor. They protected to new carpet on second floor. Great 4 man crew.

    My house closing was delayed and delayed and my original movers (do you want their name?) completely blew me off when I finally closed and needed them. I closed on Fri 8/29 and called HD Auston after hours to see if they could squeeze me into their schedule (admittedly very last minute AND a holiday weekend). As luck would have it, they made room for me the next day! They were scheduled to show up around 9-9:30 and even showed up a little early for me!
    The 2 guys were very professional and did a great job. My stairs go up and then turn at a sharp angle (why?) but they maneuvered heavy dressers, mattresses, boxsprings, desks etc. to the allocated bedrooms/office upstairs. They were mindful of my pets that were behind closed doors. It was a very hot day but they were troopers! 
    We have moved many times over the years - local and long distance. My last move bringing me here to SC was a nightmare with lots of stolen, lost, broken things and I am still heartbroken over it a year later. HD Auston restored my faith in movers! I just unpacked the last of my fragile dishes and not a thing was chipped or broken. YAY!
    Their hourly rates are reasonable, just be aware that they tack on 1 hour + $30.00 fuel surcharge to the total. I didn't mind because I was so grateful they got me moved in right away!

    It was fine.  It went good.  They delivered this big container to our driveway and we packed it up and they hauled it off and we never saw it for several months and at the time to deliver it they delivered.  It wasn’t really much service other than storing it somewhere safely.  Some of the things when we got back were broken, like lamp shades and that happens while transporting in a big pod.

    Came out and went through rooms to see what we had to move. Gave us cost of move. Didn't go with them they were 1000 higher than other co.They were very nice and very helpful. I liked them very much but they were just to high. Other than the price they gave they did a great job.

    They cleared the space systematically , using a giant box on a dolly and a rolling platform, checked before, during, and after to make sure the work was being done to my requirements, asking if I wanted anything else. They wer very conscientious, working hard the whole time, taking only one 15 minute break ( which I was not charged for in the labor hours). I would use them again absolutely, and have already recommended them to a friend getting ready to move. The professional touch, the hard work, the respectful way they treated me, I was SO pleased and will definitely call the the next time I need moving services!!!

    I wasn t pleased with them because they moved everything too quickly with no care of our belongings. I wouldn t recommend them to anyone who has a lot of fragile things. They just seemed to be in a rush to get things done.
