Fence Company reviews in Easley

I requested a quote in early May, no response. A couple weeks later, I again requested a quote through their website and Angies lIst, again no response. I sent an email through their website if they could recommend anyone since they are too busy to respond to me. I was contacted by a David in email apologizing for no response and to respond by advising my need. I responded by requesting a quote, provided detail info and even advised theres no rush, but did need a quote for planning and budgeting. Once again, no response. After a couple of weeks I called their office and David answered. He said he was busy at a site and for me to send another email, which I did. Again no response. I see all these great reviews about them, but I have had no luck on getting them to even contact me for over 4 months. They cannot even provide the courtesy of a response. Not very professional and i can not recommend.

They did not nail all boards completely and sawed into the gate posts. Parts of the old fence were not cleaned up. If I was not distracted by another project that day I would have inspected the job before I paid them. This company is not as good as it was in past years. No handles on gate and only two hinges on large gate. If you use this company make sure you get a detailed quote and closely inspect their work. Nice guys but very unprofessional.

Mr. Lee is very knowledgable & trust worthy. He possesses a College Degree & has good business practice. He upgraded
our computer system. He installed lights that can be turned on & off from your phone no matter where you are. He installed
a Thermostat that is also controlled by your phone. He installed numerous security cameras that will alert you at the slight
noise inside or outside your home. You can also pull up these cameras no matter where you are. He is very professional & does a thorough job at half the cost of other providers. I recommend him highly.

This company impressed me. Although the price was comparable, if not slightly higher, than most fencing companies, the quality surpasses most that I've seen. They were punctual and respectful, not only to me but to my neighbors as well. We had an issue with my HOA approving the style fence I wanted and they patiently waited for approval and even worked with me when we had to change design plans. The lead builder paid very close attention to detail and worked with my existing landscape. He tried his best to make the top of the fence even all the way around and it only slopes on the bigger hills/dips in my yard. He really knows what he's doing. Other companies I've seen doing the same fence will just put the fence up without attention to the landscape and the end result is uneven top boards and an overall sloppy look. With that being said, they took about a week to do my 1/2 acre fence, which is not the fastest, but was worth the extra few days for the quality I received. If you're looking for the wrecking ball crew to come in and have a 1/2 acre fence up in 2 days then this is not the company for you. If you're looking for high quality and attention to detail then they are definitely the company for you.

After living in Columbia for 28 years, I purchased a house and planned to return to my hometown area in the upstate. The task of making the new house ?my own? was daunting. However, immediately upon meeting David, I felt at ease. You immediately like and trust David. He has an easy going manner which was very calming for me as I was faced with doing major renovations both inside and outside my home.
I contracted with David to install a vinyl privacy fence and remove the existing concrete patio and rotten deck and replace with new stamped concrete.
An unforeseen manufacturer's defect in the fence panels could have been a total disaster. However, David did what was necessary to take the entire shipment of panels back to Charlotte and exchange for non defective panels. He worked until almost 9:00 pm in the freezing cold to load all the materials on his truck and drove to Charlotte the next morning at 6:30 am so as to have the new product back at my home in time for the installers to begin the project that morning. He assured me that everything would turn out perfectly and it did! The process had to be stressful for David and his crew, but they never let it show. They were fast and efficient and had my beautiful new fence up in no time!
My new stamped concrete patio is spectacular. The gentlemen that did the concrete work were fast and efficient and the end result is beautiful.
All in all, David and his crew went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I'm picky so that speaks volumes for their work.
I would highly recommend DG Builders for any renovation project.

    PIONEER FENCE OF GREENVILLE
Alex was very professional.  He arrived on time and provided a quote.  He on me patiently during the period between the quote and when I was ready to install the fence. Once I gave the OK to proceed, he ordered materials and had a crew out within a few weeks.  Install went well and the new fence looks great.

Mike and his crew did a phenomenal job. The weather really threatened to throw the scheduling off which was key for us. Just moving in with a dog being able to let her run free was a concern: just coming out of an apartment. Mike and his crew installed over 400 feet of PT wood fence. No panels were used, fence built on site 100%. They built 2 walking gates and one drive through gate. They cleaned up all of the soil from post holes and placed it where I asked for it to go. They left the job site just as clean as they found it. They were careful of a French drain at end of driveway as to not damage it with fence post placement. Any concerns I had Mike addressed and made suggestions when asked. Mike and his crew won't disappoint!!

I was hoping to find a contractor that I could use for future projects and I do think I will hire him again for other projects. The owner of the company, David Gerisch was very nice and friendly. He showed up on time for our initial meeting, he had good ideas and didn't try to oversell me on things I didn't need. David made very reasonable efforts to correct problem sat the end of the job. We had an existing deck and partially fenced in back yard. The job was to remove the old 4' chain link and install 6' chain link all the way to the house and fully enclose the back yard. In addition we also wanted a roof installed on the back part of the deck and partially enclose the deck to the back yard, and install anew door on the back portion of the deck, with a new stairway from the deck to the yard. The goal was to have direct access to the fully fenced back yard and be able to let the dogs out, and have a covered outdoor area to use. Overall the stated goal has been met and overall quality was good. The job was started and finished in a reasonable amount of time. Structurally and functionally everything is decent. The finish work was initially lacking in quality, but after pointing this out to David he corrected the trim lattice work around the deck. Different sub contractors were used by DG to complete the job so basically Dave was acting as a general contractor. Deck: The main framing crew may have been directly employed by DG, but I'm not sure. The crew leader was very nice and the whole crew was professional and friendly. The structural work they did was decent, they worked quickly and cleaned up everyday. They basically replaced the entire supporting structure of the deck and it is very solid. The shed style roof on the deck and finished roofing is good, but the finish work they did was lacking. They installed a vinyl railing on the deck and for 26 of the 40 vinyl end brackets that they installed, they over tightened the screws and cracked them. This was pointed out to the owner, Dave, and he said he would come back and replace them but it never happened. Some of the rails are slightly crooked too but that is not too noticeable unless you are really looking. Also when they installed the vinyl railing to the existing stairs they somehow pulled the stairs out of level and you can feel it when you walk on them now. I pointed this out to David. This crew also framed in and installed the new door on the back of the house. They did an okay job on that. One thing that he did fixed on request was the lattice work I asked for on the end of the deck. Their first try at that was just terrible looking, and after I complained he replaced it and did a much better job the second time, but he charged me extra to repair the holes in the vinyl trim created from the first awful attempt.Electrical: The electrician he used was not good. His task was to install a ceiling fan in the new covered deck area. Fortunately I know enough about electric code to have stopped him from doing the job with the wrong gauge wire and a hidden electrical junction inside the wall. If I was not home during this portion of the job I would have ended up with an overloaded circuit with two illegal wire junctions inside the wall. This would have been a fire hazard.Fence: I was charger for 450' of fence and the finished length was 418'. The fence crew did an okay job, The crew leader was friendly and professional. The crew was nice enough, but I watched one of them bury his trash from lunch in one of the fence post holes before he filled it. I'm still not sure why he would do that? I had them install a tension wire on the bottom of the chain link so the dogs can not easily go under. They did not secure the wire to the fence very good though and I had to go back and tighten all the wire ties after they left. We had a 50' wooden privacy fence installed in the section that faces the driveway. They did okay on this, but the arches they cut on the top of the fence look a little rough. I didn't complain about that though because it looks good enough, and I will be removing it in the near future when I have a garage built in its place. The vinyl siding, rain gutter and aluminum trim work sub contractor did an excellent job. Overall I am about 90% happy with the job. Everything I initially asked for was completed and on schedule. Everything is functional and is an improvement to what we had before. The follow-up promises were not kept after the final payment was made so if you do hire them, get everything completed to your satisfaction before you give him his last payment. Update 1/3/15: I received a call from David in November saying he still intended on coming back and finishing the remaining items. still looking forward to having these few remaining things taken care of. I fully understand that they have moved on to other jobs, but I feel that David is a quality person and will make good on his promise the next time I have him out for a job.

Originally it was estimated the take 3 days.  With the extra work required because of the saturated ground from the rain the job lasted 5 days.  I was concerned that they might rush and take short cuts to complete this on time but that was not the case.  The yard and work area were cleaned and left as found.  I have been a homeowner for 33 years and have always done everything myself only hiring three contractors previous to this (mainly for excavation). I have a hard  time giving up control but I was very comfortable dealing with David.  We just moved to Easley from out of state so it was great to find a competent contractor here.

The fence has gotten nothing but praise for it's look and the quality of workmanship from my neighbors. If you want a quality product at a great price - and a job that's done right the first time - call Mike at A and N Fence.
