Eye Care reviews in Easley

It was like an assembly line and I got talking to other people and they told me well you could have insurance. Most of the time they accept the insurance for a certain price and you copay and then the price whatever the insurance is going to pay or whatever they sign up for and in order to cut corners they do not do a complete eye exam. I ended up getting glasses and I have never been happy with them. Dr. Bostram said you have got the best that I can do. He said you have got a cataract. I said well is it that bad there where its bothering me. He said well no. It is not  near big to take off. I asked well whats the problem and he said it is just the best that I can do. They did not even check to see what strength I needed for reading. The people were nice. Its like the doctors just like they don't have so many minutes to spend with you. The frames are great.

The service and staff were excellent. I went for my appointment and sat for a minute or two and they called me right back. It is probably the best eye exam I have had in my life. I have been going to them for a few months.

    Family Vision, P.C.
I have used Family Vision for many years. They provide my annual check-ups. I wear contacts and glasses. They take time with each patient. They accept my insurance. Their prices for contacts and glasses are competitive.

I went to the office located in Easley. Staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Eric Brown did my exam and seemed very thorough. Purchased my contacts through them. A very pleasant experience.

It has been 2 1/2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my glasses.  I paid $510 and my insurance paid $200.  They were very nice and initially nice at the beginning, now when I call I get an answering machine and they are not so nice to me.

I did not go with him, because he was too pushy.  I went back to him for botox injections and this time it was with his staff, and they were very pushy also.  I actually went with another place and they were completely different from him.   I know he does everything laser surgery, eye lid surgery, all these other surgeries.  He is a big rip off.  He has a horrible staff, and horrible bedside manner.  I have nothing positive to say about him.  I would tell anybody this.  He has a big practice, and everybody goes there, but  I wouldn't recommend it.  There are a lot better people to go to.  He is very pushy on all of his procedures.  He is very quick to recommend surgeries and the staff has been trained to push things.  I know because it happened to one of my friends, and it happend to me as well.  I went to another doctor because of this.   You wait a long time when you are in the office.  He has a real nice office because he charges a lot of money.  The staff has a real air about them, because they think he is a god or something.  I did not feel confident with him.   I have a friend who works for the eye doctor, and she told me not to go there, and I told my girl friend the same thing.

Excellent. Worked with me to establish best outcomes for my life-style. I chose a to have best vision at middle distance rather than correcting to 20/20 for distance and having to use "readers" for close-up work. Although the desired outcome came with no guarantees, he was "right on". Had my 6 month review and release two weeks ago - I will continue to see them for yearly checkups.

They are all over South Carolina. My insurance is honored there and I get a very big discount on the services. They are as good as any of them. My biggest problem with them is that there is a long waiting period but they are fine once I get in. It is just that you have to spend some time in the office before you are seen. You have to wait even if you have an appointment. The office evironment is good and clean. The staff is very friendly. I don't have any problems with the effectiveness of the treatment as well as the billing and administration. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
