    O'Sullivan Family Tree Service
These guys did a great job. They showed up on time and the owner was on site the entire time. Eston was professional from the first phone call until the final cleanup was complete, making sure I was in the loop on everything going on. I had three huge holly trees removed, a cypress tree that had died, a stump and had some major trimming on a large Eucalyptus tree. The team worked fast, safely and protected my home, all my buildings and my shrubs. They performed a thorough cleanup when they were finished. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Excellent! Sandro is a true professional and does a fantastic job. He and his crew have cut my grass for about 2 months now and they have really have my yard looking great. He also has done a drainage rock project for me that turned out beautifully and was worth every penny! That is what you hope for with contractors but seldom get... what you pay for. Sandro is one of the good ones.

    Delex Tree Company
Our experience with Delex Tree Company was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a service provider!
I called Leonard on the recommendation from a local landscape architect to see if he was interested in the job I had. He happened to be in the area and said he would be over in 30 minutes. We looked over the job and I soon found out that Leonard was an arborist, not just someone who had bought a chain saw and decided to start a tree cutting business. He was very knowledgeable about my specific tree, which was not a common tree for the area. When he left, I had a written estimate with a separate line item for each of the two jobs and a third line item that was an option for cutting down and removing the tree.
The written estimate was followed up with an email that contained a formal estimate and a copy of his insurance... I didn't even have to ask for the proof of insurance. I replied to the email and called Leonard and we scheduled a date for him to come perform the work. We scheduled the work for 8:00 am the next Tuesday... no waiting!
When Tuesday came, there was rain in the forecast and it was drizzling outside. I got a text at 7:45 am stating that he would be postponing the work until 10:00 am. I really appreciated the notice... so many times contractors don't show and I'm left waiting around, missing work.
Leonard and one helper arrived and got right to work on pruning the deadwood out of the tree. They finished in about 4 hours, the tree looked great and everything was cleaned up and hauled off. Later that day, Leonard sent another helper to grind the stump and by the time I got home from work, both jobs had been completed.
There were lots of small things that Leonard did that impressed me. 1) I had paid Leonard on the day he performed the work (I checked in on my lunch break), but I still received a phone call the next morning to make sure that everything was OK. 2) They also dropped a small branch on a pole light that was underneath the tree and it knocked the cap off the light. Even though I told him that the cap was already broken before he arrived, he insisted on replacing it. 3) Leonard also offered me tips on how to properly plant the Magnolia tree.
All in all, I will say that I was very impressed with this company. They have been added to my list of contractors that will be used again in the future and that I will recommend to friends.

    Skipper's Tree Service
Very likable crew got the work done in one day, but because of several misunderstandings things didn't go as smoothly as they probably could have.  We are from out of state (out west where there are only 5 trees anywhere) so perhaps it was our fault, but the price quoted evidently didn't include haul-off.  It wasn't even discussed, but after the fact when our back yard was buried in tree limbs and trunks from 9 trees, it was going to be another $800.  Also, grinding the stumps is extra as well, and they didn't understand up front that we would want the entire tree removed - the goal was to open up the back yard so children could run around and play...we would not leave all the tree stumps sticking out of the ground, as the whole tree may as well have stayed in that case. We were also confused as to how the coupon was to be applied.  All in all, they're ok but could probably benefit from some capital funding (hand tools and an older truck with magnetic signs) and an office person who communicates policies and services.  We still have one stump that was missed for grinding (it was buried under tree limbs at the time), though I couldn't tell you if they counted it or not.  I had another tree service come with a big automated chipping truck to clean the back yard up for $600.

    AB Tress
We had two trees that were hit by lightning that had to be removed. We also had several other trees that we wanted to remove at the same time. We called AB Tree on 8/25/12 and got hold of someone on the first call and they came out the same day to give me a very reasonable estimate.
When Frank arrived, he was very clean in dress and appearance and professional. He took the time to discuss my project with me. He suggested a change to my project plan that actually would have meant less money for him. He also pointed out things to look for when choosing a reputable tree service like verifying insurance and asking how they will take the tree down... all in one and quot;chopand quot; or and quot;piece by pieceand quot; to limit damage to the yard.
My only B mark for this company was because it took them several weeks to start the work. To be fair though, it took me until about 9/4/12 to get approval from my home owners association and Frank had an injury that I'm sure slowed him down a bit. All that being said if I could afford to wait, I would definitely use this company again... they're worth the wait!
When AB Tree arrived, it was very impressive. They brought a full crew of 7 including Frank, the owner. Everyone was dressed in clean orange T-shirts and everyone was polite and friendly. They had all the right tools and equipment including a bucket truck, dump truck, bobcat, stump grinder and chipper. The crew worked very well together and were fast, orderly and efficient. Each person knew what their job was and when to do it. They started at about 9:30am and finished up about 3:30pm. When the job was finished, everything was cleaned up as promised.
I was very happy with my experience with AB Tree, would not hesitate to (and will) recommend them to anyone, and will use them again in the future if needed.

    Skipper's Tree Service
He was extremely polite, came out and gave an estimate, and showed up with his crew and got the job done when he said he would, for the price quoted.  I am quite pleased with his work, and (as I am a safety freak) I appreciated that he was careful and conscientious - and has all the requisite insurance coverage you'd want for someone doing dangerous work on your property.   Also, my house, porch and nearby trees were all unharmed in the felling of the trees.  Great work!

    Skipper's Tree Service
Initially, he came by and gave me estimates for the work I wanted done. After we agreed, he called and came back about a week later. After we cleared up a misunderstanding on the work agreed upon, he was quick and efficient in getting the job done in an hour, He was careful not to destroy shrubbery I wanted protected.

Called and left messages multiple times, over the course of few months. Never got my calls returned. I don't understand how this company is still in business.
