    In day two, post Hurricane Irma, Aviv was able to service our freezer. Alex came and did a thorough job of trouble shooting. It turned out that we needed a new ice maker. Removing the old one and installing the new one took about 20 min. Clean up was easy, because he was careful and didn't make a mess. All in all, it was a great experience and if, in the future, I need appliance repair, I will call Aviv

    This company was amazing.  We called the day after Labor Day as we were leaving for 3 weeks.  We had not freezer or fridge working.  We had a flight at 3:00pm and they showed up within an hour of our call and fixed it and were out of the house by 10:15.  I would highly recommend this company.  Excellent service!!!!

    Daniel was EXCELLENT - very friendly, helpful, and willing and eager to offer advice.  Unfortunately, refridgerator repairs would be fairly extensive and the cost of a new fridge is likely a better investment, but Daniel took the time to explain, and show evidence, of the issues, and even make recommendations for the type of refridgerators are most reliable and durable.  He also spent time with us discussing other appliances, including our washer/dryer, and potential things to look out for.

    My property manager used them to repair a washing machine. Their bill of over $400 for replacing a water valve looked certainly in the high end of the range. And additionally, they do not separate labors from parts on their billing, so that they charge a sales tax on what would have been labor cost as well, which is a rather unprofessional thing to do.
    I called them up about the sales tax issue.  The lady who answered contended that they were selling the job as a package so they were required to change sales tax on the "package". I questioned that why they would want to sell the job as a "package", rather than itemizing parts and labor separately, like 99% of other businesses would do. She said that she would talk to the managers and someone would get back to me on that.  No one ever did.

    On Sunday evening, we noticed that our refrigerator's temperatures in both the freezer and refrigerator sections were rising.  We called Aviv early Monday morning, and by 10:00 am, a technician was working on the problem.  He determined that the evaporator coils were leaking and ordered the necessary parts.  A more senior technician returned the next day and determined that the leak was caused by an earlier problem that had not been correctly fixed by GE technicians a few years earlier.  He was able to correct the problem without having to replace all of the parts.
    Concurrently, we had a part, ordered by GE on an earlier visit, to fix a broken circuit panel for the special-function drawer (quick chill or thaw).  It turned out that GE had sent the wrong part for our year's model.  However, the Aviv technician was able to use the new circuit board in the new part to replace the defective circuit board and fixed that problem as well.
    We have used Aviv for other appliance problems and would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

    I'm really impressed.  We purchased a deal for service and they called very quickly to set up an appointment.  Our dryer was making a squealing noise.  Andrew took the dryer apart, checked for wear and lubricated the wheels etc.  Rather than automatically charge us for replacing parts he took this conservative approach which we really appreciated.  This held for about a week, but then started again.  As part of their service, if they have to come back within 35 days it is covered.  He came back yesterday, lubricated again and reported the part that should be replaced.  They called today with the price for approval.
    Andrew was professional, efficient, and explained things clearly.  We will definitely use them again in the future.

    Blanton's gave us a reasonable estimate for the installation of our new gas stove.
    I e-mailed the company on 5/29 stating that we would like them to perform the work.
    We made an appointment and the night before the appointment they called us & left a vm that said they would arrive several hours after the originally scheduled time. I called to ask about the time
    change and was told they had rescheduled it (without consulting me).  I was not able
    to be at home at the rescheduled time so the following day they rescheduled a second time.
    On this date, 6/11, they were scheduled to arrive between 8 - 10.  Around 11, they called
    and said they were running late but would arrive by 12:30. I said that was fine, but it could
    not be any later as I had previously scheduled activities.  Around 1:30, they called again
    and said they would not be able to install the stove at all that day.  I was very disappointed and
    upset  about their terrible customer service. I asked that the owners/manager call us
    the following week to discuss.  As of today, haven't heard from them.  Clearly, this company
    is not reliable and does not value its customers.  I would not recommend this company.

    They are very responsive, I called them yesterday and they could have had someone out the same day but I was not available so they came first thing this morning.  They call ahead to let you know when they are coming and inform you of the service call fee ahead of time which I found reasonable. I have used them before and the technicians are always professional, friendly and do a great job. The technician had to order a part to do the repair so he will come back once the part arrives to complete the repair.  I will continue to use them for future work.

    Quickly diagnosed problem as a faulty relay/starter for compressor. Could have told me the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced - but didn't. Honest. Called in advance of arrival. Arrived in a promised 1 1/2 window.
