I was with Dr. Schaberg for over 10 years. He never really helped with my problems. The only things he would do was prescribe laxatives & somewhat perform colonoscopies. In our office visits, there were never any questions from him. He never suggested anything, but the two services mentioned above. This year, I finally requested to have a different doctor (one that I heard was good there & my primary even suggested I request they switch me to him). His response was that, since I've been with him for 10 years, I should stay with him. So, I have no use for the entire group.

VIOLATED HIPAA. This practice was terrible in many, many ways, but the HIPAA violation was the icing on the cake. After my roommate's lithotripsy procedure, they gave us enough pain meds to last for a three weeks, but we were going to run out before the first post op appt. After one week, we began calling to ask for one refill, just enough to make it to the appt. Every time the nurse said she'd leave a note for the doctor. NEVER heard anything. The nurses tried to blame the doctors; first saying the doctor just hadn't been back to the office (in three weeks? Really?) then saying they'd left a note on his desk. Finally had to call the answering service in desperation after hours when the pain was extreme, THREE WEEKS after the initial call for help, and they were able to send something to the pharmacy for us immediately. There were MANY screw ups just like this, so we decided to switch doctors. We asked them to provide the most recent x-rays and scans for my roommate and we would pick them up. They dithered but finally agreed. When I walked in, I gave my roommates name and said I was picking up his records. They NEVER asked for my name, ID, or proof that I had a right to see them. When I opened them, I realized it was his entire medical chart, all his records from every visit and his surgery, doctor's notes, prescriptions, etc. (But no images, the only thing we actually wanted.) Without asking even my name, they gave me his entire medical history with their office. HUGE HIPAA violation! Stay far, far, far away from this practice.

    Doctor's Care
They have offices all over the city. They are one of those urgent care kind of places. It is a bias on my part, it is nothing against them but, I am more in to natural path and homeopathic regiments and they don't offer that. I would like for them to have a natural-path or a homeopath as one of the doctors but they don't. Fortunately, I don't need to go to the doctor that frequently. Availability is one of the reasons I use them. When I was working, I used them all the time. The only time I could get there was afternoon hours and on weekends. Now that I am retired and I can go at anytime, it is still nice that they are open by 8 O'clock in the morning or if I get sick on the weekends. Just because I am retired doesn't mean that I don't necessarily need to go on the weekends sometimes. For billing and administration, I haven't had any issues with them.

    Espinoza, Dr. Paul M.
I went to Dr. Espinoza for laser tattoo removal.  The first day, they said the payment would be $1,000.00.  At the next visit, they did not give me a bill or statement, but told me to just pay what I had paid the last time.  So I gave them another $1,000.  I ended up giving Dr. Espinoza $1,000 on August 4, 2014; October 1, 2014; December 4, 2015; and February 16, 2015.   Insurance did not cover it, so this was all out of pocket.  I never received a bill, statement, or invoice for services.  The treatment was very painful and only moderately effective.
On May 12, 2015, I went to a scheduled appointment and was told that the laser machine was out for repairs.  I was also told that I had been overcharged by $650 for previous treatments - without my knowledge since they never gave me a statement.  The tech told me she would call me when the machine was repaired.  I never heard from them again.  As far as I know, the machine is still broken.
I requested a refund of the overcharge starting in August 2015.  By this time, I didn't trust them to keep their word.  The office did not reply at all until I started writing negative online reviews.  Evan after that, they have refused to refund my money despite repeated requests and complaints.   As of this date, September 25, 2015, they have still refused to refund the $650.00 that they took without my knowledge or consent.
Unless your insurance will cover your entire bill, I would never step foot in this practice.  Find another provider.

It is a doctor's office and not a hospital. They sent me to the hospital when my blood pressure went really high and that is when they discovered a pulmonary embolism. When I called about how high my blood pressure was, she just told me to immediately go to the emergency room. The waiting room is great. That's the one place I go where I go in almost exactly when my appointment time is supposed to be. There is no real waiting around. They don't have coffee, but they've got a TV and magazines. I like that practice. They are really good. My doctor was on vacation for a couple of weeks, my blood pressure shot back up and they immediately worked me in to see somebody else right away. I think they do a really good job. We have been using them since the end of 2003.

    Palmetto Family Medicine
The worst. Always refereed out for anything and everything, inept. All these doctors listed here on Angie's List do not work there currently. There must be a high turnover, I know the physician I saw there for almost a year was terminated abruptly for an undisclosed reason and a letter was sent out to her patients and it was obvious she was inept. Just terrible, the worst!

    Conigliaro Jones MD
Dr. Jones is very pleasant and is quite personable like two other reviewers stated.  However, that's not what is most important to me about a doctor.  I had a total of three visits with him and he never asked ANY questions in an effort to try to figure out the cause of my condition.  Instead, he seemed to make the assumption that because I was prescribed a certain medication by other doctors, the cause of my condition was known.  While I don't know that for certain, what I do know is that there was absolutely zero effort to explore causes.  The three visits I had were just a quick writing of the prescription and that was it.  In all of the doctors I've seen concerning the condition I'm experiencing, I've never had one that showed so little desire to find a cause to the problem.  That greatly concerns me as a patient.  I do not have much confidence in Dr. Jones beyond writing prescriptions and very straight forward check-ups.
The other issue, and reason why I've had enough and am now seeking another doctor, is that he changed the dosage of the prescription without telling me.  I didn't know this was done until I picked up the prescription.  Since it was obviously a mistake on his part, because I've had the same dosage prescribed to me for several years, I called the next day to inquire.  After two days with no return call, I called a third time and finally got through to a receptionist who relayed information to me from Dr. Jones.  Even though I asked to talk with him, all that I got was an exchange of information through one of his front office people who explained that he couldn't/ wouldn't do anything.  If I could have talked with him directly, likely he would have understood his mistake.  However, that was not done.  I was about to drive over to his office a few days ago to confront the situation in person but I decided I would be much better off just moving on and choosing a more competent doctor.
As I mentioned earlier, Dr. Jones seems like a very nice man and has a good beside manner.  He is also fairly easy to see and doesn't keep you waiting very long.  If that is most important to you in a doctor, then I wish you well.  For me, my health is more important.

    Dr. Dan Methuselah
I am extremely pleased with Dr. Methuselah's treatment.  He himself is very personable, and is an excellent surgeon.  As a nurse at an outpatient surgery center, I have the opportunity to see many podiatrists and orthopaedic surgeons, and chose Dr. Methuselah for both of the surgeries I have had on my feet.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who has difficulties with his/her feet or ankles.

    Williams III, Dr. Eddie M
Exam seemed to be going ok and then he did something that took me totally by surprise. I had not discussed or given consent for procedure he did. Very upsetting. I will never ever see him again because I have a total lack of trust in him. I feel he showed a lack of respect l to me and caused me unnecessary stress.
