I love the wrap; and how it made my skin feel so soft, and it looked great! The cocoa butter really soften my skin; my skin was so very dry. This was just what my skin needed. I received a 20% discount since it was my birthday!

    Gore Salon
I have been going to Lauren Mazza at Gore's Hair Salon for about a year. All I want is a good dry haircut. I wash it myself before I go there.  Lauren has given me such good cuts and I plan to continue going to her. I have found through time that Lauren listens to me on what I like. I had a hair dresser for years that would say yes and then do just want she wanted or was able to do. I would have to come home and touch it up myself. I have noticed two things about Lauren. First she is passionate about her vocation and as an artist myself I watch her hands. She has that special intuition it takes to do good design in anything artistic.

    Eva Skin Care
After being a very good customer for several months, Eva announced they would no longer accept credit or debit cards as payment. Their services are not inexpensive and I rarely carry enough cash to cover my appointment. Having to go to the ATM before each visit is quite inconvenient. Eva, the owner, has been fairly rude and abrupt about this change. As wonderful as Monika and her services are I have a feeling this is going to affect their business.

    Five Points Salon
Went to Marc at the recommendation of a friend.  He seemed very overpriced but I figured I'd give it a try since he came highly recommended. Well he cut my extremely short hair and charged me $35. I thought was high but I figured it was supposed to be more of a "high end" salon. Well 2 weeks later I went back for highlights - he gave me a slight trim and charged me $130.00!! Never in my life have I been charged that much.  Honestly, you can find my hair in a magazine under "very short".
When he told me the price I was shocked, but I didn't want to make a scene because there were other customers at the register. So when I got home I emailed him, letting him know that I was not happy with the "highlights" (since I couldn't even see them!) and I felt like I had not gotten what I paid for.  My letter to him was nice, but I wanted to let him know how I felt.  Well you know what he said??? NOTHING!!! That's right, he didn't even have the courtesy to respond to me.   I even wrote him a second time asking for a response and still nothing.
I would absolutely not recommend anyone go to him, unless you feel like getting poor service, an overpriced hair cut, terrible color and a hair dresser with a bad attitude.

Perfection. Perfect mani & pedi. Great polish color selection and very clean.
Is is a busy salon and I highly recommend making an appointment. Appointments can be made on-line or by calling the salon.

    Ciao Bella
When I traveled for work, I was fortunate to visit some very good spas and I state without demur that Laura's facial was a match for any I had at Canyon Ranch or Green Mountain.
My skin glowed for two days and still feels soft and smooth and buttery.  I'm going back.!
I've been to a couple of other spas here in Columbia and was expensively disappointed.  Caio Bella is currently located in rooms behind an antiques and oddities shop, but don't be put off by the surroundings, Laura is opening in a new location (contractor has caused several delays, but, frankly, I'd still go to her if she set up in a minivan in a sonic parking lot.  She's THAT good. )

They were so wonderful. It was absolutely marvelous. He could have charged me a lot more for the work he did as well. He could have exchanged me $300-$400 and I would have paid it cheerfully. He did just a terrific job. He was a nice guy.

    Panache A Salon
Cheryl Thomas has been a salon owner and stylist in the Columbia area for 20 years.  She was an accomplished stylist when she moved from Atlanta and has been cutting my hair since 1996.  She continues to educate herself on the best color and cut techniques and is a master stylist.
I have very curly hair and she has been able to keep me polished and professional for years!  She is amazing at knowing what your hair will and will not do.  Her knowledge of color is out of this world.
Sure, I could pay a lot less at a chain salon, but there is no comparison to the quality and professionalism Cheryl provides to her customers.

    Shear Xpectations
Birthday event for a few girls.  Area was nice and girls felt very special.  No problems, just giggles.  Would do again.  Better than group movie event or similar.  Thank you
