    Johnathon Brown Electric
Can not say enough good things about this company. Starting from calling for an estimate to getting the job finished, each part has been a pleasure with Jonathan Brown Electric. Matthew the technician showed up when scheduled each time on time. Communicating with rescheduling work was prompt and very simple. Michelle who is the representative voice and scheduler extremely positive and energetic. Quality of work and workmanship outstanding. Its extremely hard to find all positives when hiring contractors or specialty companies although Jonathon Brown Electric and team were an excellent choice for every job i needed done.

    Rowland's Maintenance Repair Overhaul LLC
The work was done within 2 hours with 2 men working. I liked their punctuality and professionalism. Found the hourly cost of $110.00 an hour a little steep. Paid at the most $30 an hour for a handyman.

I've know and used Tim and crew for a long time. He's reasonable, thorough, and very detail oriented. Pretty much any residential task I need a handyman for, I ask him first. He has always been responsive, knowledgeable, and continues to earn my business. He does what he says, communicates throughout the process ( something most people don't do anymore) and budget weary. His price has always been reasonable. I recommend you talk with him before hosing anyone

    You-Name-It Handyman and Carpentry Services
The service we received was excellent. We purchased the 4 hour deal that was offered through Angie's List. After finishing the lighting fixtures, we still had time left. Joe applied some caulking in one of our bathrooms. He also reinforced the stairs from our garage into the house. We were very pleased with the service and would contract with this company again.

    Irrigation and Lighting Specialist
I sent an RFP for lighting for lighting at a clubhouse and they responded with the following: "No ma' we will not be bidding it we work with home owners personally not HOA. Thank you for contacting us. Sorry hope you find someone."

Polite but disappointing.  Will not use them personally or professionally.

    Omnitron Electric Company LLC
Because 2 of the 3 chandeliers were in 2 story high locations and the ceiling fan was installed on a vaulted 2 story ceiling, there was an up charge of $100 for the ladders.  This was disclosed to us well in advance and agreed to so we were not surprised.  Also, because we had so many electrical tasks we did run over the 8 hour deal purchase (2 electricians for 4 hours).  They honored the per hour price, so we were pleased to get everything taken care of in one visit.  The electricians were quick, knowledgeable and very polite and professional.  We will be using them again!

    Omnitron Electric Company LLC
The guys were fantastic. On time and ready to work, they jumped right into my list. While they normally work together on one project at a time, these guys took opportunities to work separately whenever both weren't needed. So, one was never sitting idle, and they worked very fast. I was so excited to see them get through one item after another on my list!  Along the way, they explained what they were doing & any risk (to my plaster walls, for example). Everything looks great, though.
For the last item---replacing one ceiling light with two--I really just needed an estimate of how difficult/costly it would be. They provided that estimate and explained how my 100-year-old house was wired. They stayed a few minutes over to clean up the plaster, wallboard, extra wire & dust from the projects. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

    Brigmon's Construction Services, LLC
Eric Brigmon was hired to remodel our second bathroom. The job included demo down to the studs. We discussed the design of the tile pattern and placement of the shower niche and the placement of a decorative boarder. And specific instructions were given to him about the decorative tile explaining what is the right side. We also wrote on the right side of the decorative tile. He and his crew removed a one piece shower unit a toilet, a vanity, our floor to the joists, the entry door and all the old plumbing. He even ripped the towel bar off the wall leaving two gaping holes in the drywall. Next he put the new tub in place ,installed the new shower/tub faucet, layed a new sub floor and put the cement tile backer board in place around the tub area. He then covered the cement board with a water proofing material. He installed the wall tile first ,the niche decorative tile, then he finished the decorative tile boarder and continued with the normal wall tile. After the tub tile was installed he installed the floor tile. I told him that the decorative tile was installed backwards and he argued with me stating that I was wrong. Next came the grouting and sealing phase followed by the placement of the vanity and installing the toilet. He then installed the new entry door with trim ,baseboards and a new light. I had requested that he not hook up the sink faucet until after i had painted the bathroom that evening. He said he did not have a problem with this request. When he was in the final phases of finishing I looked in and was amazed that the drywall had never been repaired. He said sure he would fix the holes. After completion my husband payed him and this is where the job went bad. I had to go out of town and when I returned after the weekend I was amazed at what had been done. There was not one thing done right. I went to the tile store and checked out the decorative sample board and called Eric about what I thought was a bad job. He scheduled to come by the next day.He sent his worker instead. I handed the worker a list that was long. The door will not close and there are over 1/4 inch gaping holes along the trim and no caulking. The floor tile at the entry was cut wrong and many pieces not level. The shower tile is uneven, installed backwards and grout lines uneven and tile is wavy. The shower head had visible white plumbers tape as though this is an old leaky showerhead. The shut off valve to the toilet had never been moved and was placed tightly by the toilet base. There was dried grout, mortar and sealer all over the new tub walls and ceiling. Where the old shower insert met the ceiling there was torn drywall. The walls and ceiling were still not smooth for painting.. The light was beginning to fall off the wall because he did not install it in an electrical box which would have been properly secured to the studs. He did send a drywaller to repair the walls. Then he came back to discuss the other repairs of which I realized he cannot do any remodeling work well. I handed him a list of how much with the dollar values that he needed to reimburse us. He was very angry and said he had to go to his truck and add up his figures. Also when asked about the toilet valved we were told to turn off the water to the toilet we would have to use a screwdriver to remove the valve then use a wrench. The classic though is when I was discussing with Eric what was wrong I looked down at the base of the toilet and said is that leaking water? He said . that is acrylic and we both put our finger down to test and sure enough we both said yes that it was leaking water. This is when both my husband and I realized we did not want Eric to fix anything. He does not know how to remodel! He wrote us a check for less than half the cost of the job and it is a lesson learned. Another Re modeler who refitted the bathroom exposed all mistakes which are as followers Eric cannot properly stud a wall he left old mildewy ins ululation or no insulation on outside walls, tiles came up way to easy due to poor gluing techniques, plumbing areas leaked, electric work had to be corrected, tile also removed due to poorly layed and poor cutting techniques. Ext..... I read his previous remarks on other jobs and I know he will comment. He lied before and will lie again. Many people I have told about him ,state he is no contractor and does not know what he is doing. This includes his father.(a story relayed to me through someone who will not do business with him.)

    Southern Lightscapes
We met Graham at a home show early in the year and loved his style.  He developed a plan for adding uplighting the front of our house which we had installed in March.  After doing additional landscaping, we called him back in September to install more lighting in the yard and along the driveway.  He has a good eye for design.  We are very pleased with his service and with the results.

    Roby Services
William found the culprit, one of the garage overhead light fixtures was tripping the GFI.  Should have found ourselves; replacement of the ballast (that we did later), solved the problem.  Feel a bit stupid, but Roby was quick to respond.
William was most friendly and competent.
