Plumber reviews in Charleston

    Suburban Plumbing
I canceled the work and now I can't get my money back. I called him nearly everyday and he rarely picks up. He said he would send me a check in a couple of weeks. Today, he sent me an email, it was not clear but he said he was gonna not repay me. I paid him $2215.

    Atta-Boy Plumbing LLC
The bill for these three services was almost $500, and yet the total time the plumber took to perform the services was a little over an hour. Assuming that the toilet parts cost them about $20, and the garbage disposal costs them about $100, this was a $300 charge for about an hour of labor. $85 for labor is about standard. I'm disappointed.

    Rooter-Man
The company had an experienced plumber, Alex, at the house within hours of calling. He and his assistant, Forrest, discussed the possible options to remedy, thoroughly explained them, patiently answered numerous questions, and arranged to repair the next morning. They arrived early (!), reviewed the process and got to work. During the course of their work, they stopped to show me what they found (which was exactly what they had anticipated they would find), documented their work before, during and after, cleaned the area, tested all appliances/sinks/toilets, and answered questions regarding care going forward. Very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Nelson, Kim and certainly, Alex and Forrest. The whole experience was positive.

The project was well performed. We were very pleased with Monty and his crew. They went well beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy with all the big stuff as well as the details. We were so pleased we hired them to come back for a major porch project.

    Steves Service
Steve was wonderful. He is very honest and knowledgeable. His work is very detailed and thorough. He was great with communications and showed up every time he said he would. His prices were very reasonable and he did not try to create more work than was needed for the job. I will definitely be calling Steve for other jobs in the future.

I fixed leak by tightening but. He agreed no leak. Said $210 to replace pipe and spigot . I declined. Changed $49. Five minutes with me and five minutes to write bill and estimate. Had to get plumber because of house inspection before the sale.

I felt the cost for the repairs was exorbitant. I didn't realize that each job was charged separately, rather than by the hour. There was a book with pricing that was shared with me after the work was completed and only about another job that I was considering. We had a very old, inexpensive faucet in our bathroom sink that was dripping. I was charged twice the price of new faucet, which the plumber said I would need, if the problem persisted. The outside spigots that were leaking were not fixed, although I was charged for those repairs, and the guys had to be called to come back and repair them both. Initially I was charged $600 but the plumbing company agreed to return $130 towards the sink faucet.

We needed our water and gas reconnected after having new countertops installed. Steven was so great about working us in even though the countertop installers kept changing when they would be there. Also very reasonable price. I will definitely use again for any plumbing needs!

    Rooter-Man
We use and trust Rooter-Man to do the plumbing work on our private as well as rental properties. The work is always quality and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend Rooter-Man. We did pay extra because it fell on the weekend but that was to be expected.

Finally, someone who A) answers the phone, B) shows up on time, C) doesn't charge ridiculous prices, and D) does good work. Any future plumbing needs will be handled by Atta-Boy plumbing. I don't know what it is about Charleston, but trying to find any type of contractor or tradesman to do any work, who will actually show up when they say they will, is ridiculously hard. I went through several plumbers, who either didn't call back, didn't show up when they said they would, or wanted almost double to do the exact same work. I'm so glad that I tried another round and found these guys!
