    Linton, Dr. I Grier
Dr. Linton is an exceptional Doctor. He takes care of any problem You have . If You need a Specialist then He sends You to One . However, He cares enough about his Patients that he does not just turn You over and wash his hands of that problem You are having. He stays knowledgeable about Your care through the other Doctors and You . He has a contagious Smile and You carry it with You when You leave his office. If You want a Doctor who Sugar Coats anything do not go to him. He does not sugar coat nor beat around a bush about anything. He tells You exactly how You are in simple language . That is ONE of many things I respect about him. His Nurse, Donna, has also been there since My first visit . She truly cares about people, also . They are definitely as Perfect of a Professional match a Doctor and Nurse could possibly be, in My opinion . I am Grateful For the Team I have , who keeps me Healthy .

This place has absolutely no care or compassion for single mothers with auto immune diseases who are struggling to survive without any support for the childrens father. If you are looking for a doctors office with compassion, then look elsewhere especially their infusion person Kaitlyn has no heart or compassion. The doctors might be amazing, but if your office staff doesnt care then your practice sucks. You only care for people with good insurance. When I had federal insurance, I could reschedule the day of as much as I wanted to, but now that Im a single mom with crappy insurance you all looked for a reason to get rid of me. I know for a fact in cancelled or rescheduled in less than 72 hours several times but I had good insurance so you looked the other way. You care has nothing to with patients but with their insurance

    Demarco, Dr. James R.
Great, He is THE best orthopedic surgeon in the area. All the horror stories I heard about the pain and being the worse surgery ever. No problems. No pain. After day 3, I stopped taking the pain meds. no problems. It is a long recovery process 8 months to a year but after 8 weeks I am out of the sling and doing really well. And I am not that young anymore

    Linton, Dr. I Grier
Dr. Linton has been my Primary Physician for 15 years. I have never seen or met a more knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind Physician in my life. He listens effectively, diagnosis the issues at hand with very positive results. While he is serious about your health concerns, Dr, Linton is pleasant and has a great sense of humor. He always has a smile on his face and I've always left his office with a smile on mine. If he is taking new patients, you will be fortunate to see him. His Staff is friendly and they do not overbook patients. Your wait time will be very minimal.

    Doctor's Care
This is long, but you might want to read it. I made two visits to this office because I was new in Charleston and didn't have a primary care physician at the time. The first visit was for a sinus infection. I've had many in the past but fewer in recent years. Dr. suggested I get a CT scan. I asked how a CT scan would help and was told it would tell me if I need surgery. Surgery was recommended in past, but I chose non surgical treatment. Dr. got angry, asked me what medical school I went to, and gave me a prescription. He had no respect for a patient's informed medical decision. Months later, I went back with a cough. The doctor ordered an xray and it looked scary. He said pneumonia and gave me an antibiotic. I asked if I was okay and should I go to the hospital and he stated no. Come back for a recheck in 2 weeks. The radiology report received by this office the following day showed a large pleural effusion and a partially collapsed lung. I received no call from this office notifying me that I was urgently in need of appropriate medical care. The following day, siting in a real physicians' office, the remaining lobe of my lung collapsed and I was sent to the hospital via ambulance. I had to have surgery on the lung and nearly died from the infection. There was so much infection around my lung that infected my heart and left me with heart failure. After looking at my xray from Doctors Care, the doctor who treated me in the hospital stated that the doctor at Doctors Care should have sent me immediately to the hospital. I took the doctor to small claims court because I wanted to confront him about how his negligence affected me. In court, the doctor actually lied and said he told me he wanted me to get a CT scan but I refused. He actually brought up the fact that months prior at a visit I refused a CT scan for my sinuses. I pointed out that I had had no sinus infection since, so perhaps I was the only person in the room to make an appropriate medical decision for me. Then he said he couldn't send me for a CT scan because I was at his office on a Sunday. The judge actually pointed out to the lying Doctors Care doctor that the hospital is open all day, every day. Ultimately, I didn't win because I didn't follow procedural rules for a malpractice claim. But the judge stated that even though I couldn't win because I didn't follow the rules, he believed the doctor lied. Winning wasn't my goal. Confronting the man who so grossly misdiagnosed me was the goal. I contacted the CEO of Doctors Care by mail and told him about my treatment in this office and requested he contact me. I never heard anything. I would never go to this office or any other Doctor's Care again. Not only was the doctor incompetent, he was arrogant and unethical, he lied to cover his negligence, and the CEO showed absolutely no interest.

    Palmetto Primary Care Phys
Ignored when asking about how to manage diabetes when taking prednisone (needed for breathing but increases blood sugar readings immensely). Laughed at when I kept trying to get some answers. In effect, patted on the head and told "oh don't worry, you'll be fine in a few days, here take this prednisone and this antibiotic and you'll be ok in a few days". Antibiotic was one I'm horribly allergic to, refused to change the prescription so I didn't even get it filled. Took me over 2 months to recover. In a later (my LAST) dealing with them, they gave my test results over the phone to a person who was NOT on my HIPPA form.

Palmetto Digestive Disease - West Ashley

I went and saw Dr. Sagatelian because my GERD was worsening.  He told me there was nothing to do except exercise to lose weight.  However, the reason I went to see him is because I have been unable to exercise due to the worsening of my GERD.  He said he wanted to schedule an upper GI anyway since I'd never had one.  I saw my general physician a couple days later and he suggested an additional medication I could take on top of the one I'm already on.  I started taking it and it's helped.  I don't know why the GI specialist couldn't have recommended that!

During the procedure, they found food in my stomach and said I had to get another procedure done, a Gastric emptying.  The day before my procedure I was called and told I had to pay $1100 for it.  I cancelled due to the fact I wasn't sure why it needed to be done because the doctor hadn't sat down with me yet to review the findings on my Upper GI.  Finally, 3 weeks after my procedure I had my apt to go over the results.  I drove the half hour drive it takes me to get to the office and was told he was running over 45 minutes late due to an emergency that morning.  I feel like someone should have called me.  I could not stay that long so had to reschedule another 2 weeks away.  Due to that, I could not get my prescription I needed for my GERD filled.  I called the office the next day and left a voicemail with their pharmacy dept.  The VM said it would take 24 hrs or someone would call.  I received no call, nor a prescription at my pharmacy.  So I called back the next day to follow-up.  Person answered at 3:45 stating the office was closed and they couldn't do anything.  Online it says they are open till 5.  Once I get the results to my procedure I will not be returning.

    Armstrong, Dr. Jeffrey R
Basically, the first operation did not solve my wife's foot problems. He performed a second operation several months later (May 2011), for which we paid full costs. Ultimately, a third surgery performed in January 2012 by a medical doctor who is an orthopedic surgeon  was required to undo the damage from the first two surgeries.
We were very unhappy with the results provided by Dr. Armstrong. Both he and his staff were kind and courteous at all times. We simply question his skill.

Womens Health exam on 1/16/2015 and 0n 5/15/2014.
NP was very rough in conducting both exams. Twice, the NP ordered tests without informing me that she was going to
request the test, why it was important, and if I wanted to have the test run or if I wanted to opt-out. The second time I was charged for the test. Nurse sent HIPPA-violating letter to my home. Repeated requests for information and legible medical records have been ignored. In addition, I was overcharged, never informed, and never received a refund.
