DEmpire Gutters, Inc.I paid Empire Gutters $355 to repair a leaking super gutter which was my primary purpose for hiring them. That was their minimum for me. When it continued to leak one week later, I called them, The owner returned the call promising to come out and look at it. That's the last I heard from them. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words. Here are two of how they attempted the repair. Notice on both sides they never went up the seam? Additionally, Empire was the first to be on the roof since I had it inspected 10 months ago. There is a newly broken roof tile where their company worked on the super gutter. However I can't prove it was them because I didn't go up on the roof to check their work. It's been taken care of by another company now. I'm going to need some new guttering. But I will never use them again. I highly recommend you find a better company.- steve L.

AGuttergloveWe were replacing old Gutters that overflowed every time it rained. I got three bids for the job. Gutter Glove wasn���t the cheapest but based on our conversation, I felt it would be the best solution. The covers are by far the best I���ve seen. That will save me a lot of climbing on the roof. Troy arrived right on time, did exactly what he said he would, cleaned up after himself...no issues at all. We had a day of heavy rain later in the week and the gutters worked perfectly. They also look great. I would definitely hire Troy again.- CHERYL R.

(South Carolina)Work was started promptly (next day) installer did not clean or re-align gutters. leaffilter product did not install correctly due to insufficient overhang of shingles. (13 years old)The salesman never questioned or measured my overhang. installer just installed as rapidly as possible. After stopping installation i was told "thats the way it works". So unless you have the perfect roof & perfect conditions. BE CAREFUL ! It is your responsibility for everything..if it works or not. UPDATE 2-14-18 quickly but very unprofessional , I should have refused to pay or stopped payment on check.I received a call saturday from corp. office, a Mr.William Fields with no agreement. Disagreed with everything i said sitting in a office 1000 miles away. and still no response from the local installer/seller. I paid $25.00 plus per foot for a 2.00 per ft item. I will NOT recommend at all and what good is the warranty if they won,t respond now! much less later if needed.- woodrow b.

I sent them the quote, they honored the previous quote, and I had gutters up in less than a week. I had some custom requests on downspout locations and they were able to fulfill these requests no problem. If I ever have to do this again, I'll definitely be calling them again.- John R.

AHoly City GutterworksAfter I contacted Holy City Gutterworks, Robert the owner, reached out to me just shortly after I send my request for quotation. He was very accommodating to my schedule and two days later we met at my house. Rob showed up on time and I walked him around my house to review the project. He made recommendations as to which size of gutters and leaf protection to use and he also told me about his experience and his business. Robert just started his own company but has many years of experience in the gutter industry. One hour later, I received the requested quotes and we quickly came to an agreement. Rob was already able to perform the gutter installation at the next day and he kept me up to date about the arrival time, very good communciation. Within a few hours, all gutters were cut on-site and installed and they left the house clean. I have worked with several contractors and it is getting more difficult to find reliable people who offer competitive pricing, good communication, reliability and professional work. I found all of that with Robert and his company and I do highly recommend Holy City Gutterworks and I wish Robert good luck with his business!- Daniel S.

FIsland Bound Seamless Gutteri contacted this company a few months back and received a quote. I contacted them again last week to initiate the installation. We agreed that they'd show up today at 0930 to start the install. At 0930 he called and said he was running late and had to go purchase materials. He estimated he'd be here at 1040-1100. At 1100 I receive another call that he still doesn't have material and will be delayed even longer. I took a day off from work for this installation to be done so obviously someone wasting my day and failing to show up at the agreed time is unprofessional and unacceptable. When I questioned the owner on this and ask for a valid reason why his time was worth more than mine and why he didn't plan ahead and show up at the time we agreed on he became angry and got an attitude. Evidently it's okay to be late so long as you call and tell the person waiting that your late. I'm a pretty understanding guy and would have worked with this company regardless of the tardiness had he not replied with the attitude and became beyond professional. If you can't show up on time and be professional when dealing with clients, how well is the quality of services and products going to me. If you need gutters, I suggest you pay a little more and go with a company that does that they say they'll do. This guy does not.- Brian H.
