    Palmetto Environmental Solutions
Chad, Cameron and their team are super helpful and professional. Emails and phone calls were answered promptly and all questions were answered knowledgeably. After inspecting my crawlspace PES (Palmetto Environmental Solutions) discovered mold and high moisture along with dripping wet duct work. The AC vents going into the house were wet with condensation as was the floor. PES explained that wet wood and damp conditions attract mold, wood damaging fungi, and potentially termites or wood rot. Removal of old insulation and vapor barrier, treating the mold/fungi, encapsulating the crawlspace, and installing a dehumidifier was proposed. The crew did a very good job of cleaning up the old insulation and vapor barrier. I was impressed with the preparation of the space and detail. The walls and floor were covered and a dehumidifier was installed. It all looks so clean and neat. Our crawlspace is dry already and my air conditioning seems to be running better. We are very pleased with the work performed and now have peace of mind that our crawlspace will be safe from any mold, moisture or wood rot issues in the future.

    BioTek Environmental Inc
They really went the extra mile. Happy to recommend them to patients and to colleagues. Before applying double membrane barrier they discovered ground water level was the problem. Brought in 2 consultants and solved the problem with outdoor buried pump to move water to existing system to drain into marshland. Then applied membrane. Also reduced humidity in garage.

    Crawl Space Doctor- Charleston
My overall impress is that this is a great company that stands by their work. My crawlspace looks great, but it took a while to get there. The first crew came in and did an unsatisfactory job. I took some photos and sent them to the owner, Greg. Greg informed me that they had had some problems with the contractors who had encapsulated my crawlspace and had to let them go. The following week, Greg and one of his crew members came over and personally gutted the entire crawlspace, then re-encapsulated it free of charge, and even knocked $1,000 off the price for my troubles. They have also done several followup consultations free of charge. On a personal level, they have been very communicative and easy to work with.

    Carolina Mold Solutions
Everything went well. Caroline Aire dryed out underneath the house and installed a very heavy vapor barrier. They sprayed inside the house with a safe chemical. They used dehumidifiers to dry up all the moisture. They did a great job. I was very pleased and will use them again if needed.

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
It was ok. It was fine. They came out the first time and had to come back another time. I don't have a need for their services. If they are coming out to work and not inspect, their prices are really expensive.

They did a great job but that's not what they do best. There was a problem with the dehumidifier. They were at the house the very next day, dug in, found the problem and fixed. I tried to pay for it, they said no worries.

    Amazing Remodeling, LLC
These guys gave me a bogus estimate to make repairs. To the tune of $21,000. When I called the number on the estimate (different than the one advertised on Angie's List) & asked for their license number, I was told they didn't give out their license until they were finished with the job. When I called LLR, they had no license information for this company. When I called the number advertised on Angie's List, a lady in another state answered. She said this was her number for the last 15 years. She did say that she knew this David Ansley person & last time she heard, he was in State Prison in TX for fraud & forgery. The address listed here is a PO Box at Packmail.

    Crawl Space Doctor - Savannah
I have a construction background but was unfamiliar with encapsulation as I just moved to Georgia. After extensive review of the encapsulation systems that were available in the area, and the price difference, I concluded the Crawl Space Doctor was a good fit. The main reason I chose the Crawl Space Doctor was because of their system. The other system was double the cost of the Crawl Space Doctor, so I carefully reviewed the difference and felt I would be getting equal benefits. I selected a 90 mil film for my project. Greg was very prompt and articulate in explaining his system and how his team would complete the work. Greg and his team did excellent work. They took out all of the debris under the house, informed me of a few problems they detected and repaired, then went to work putting the encapsulation system in place. They were very efficient. The crawlspace is doing exactly what I expected. The benefits of the Crawl Space Doctor's system are these: I am breathing better air quality. I am noticing a difference in the temperature of the house with reduced cooling costs, and expect the same on my heating costs. My insulation and floor joists are no longer moist and susceptible to mold. My heating and cooling ductwork will last longer with the humidity gone from the area. The dehumidifiers Greg put in do not run continuously, they will cycle off once the humidity desired point is reached. My hardwood flooring will not buckle in the future due to excessive humidity. My vents are now permanently sealed so rodents can't come into the house in the winter. I have peace of mind knowing my home is more protected with an encapsulation. It is a no brainer product in that it is a good investment all around. I would highly recommend Greg and his team at the Crawl Space Doctor. He has been doing encapsulations for years and is an expert in the field. His team does the work, but he personally oversees the project. You are in good hands with Greg McBride of the Crawl Space Doctor!! You will not regret spending less for top quality!

    Carolina Green Energy Systems
My wife and I could not be more pleased with the great work and phenomenal customer service we've received from Carolina Green, from start to finish. We first contacted them to explore our options for encapsulation, mold testing, and moister control for our home which we purchased after it was on the market for years. Carolina Green quickly responded to our inquiry, came to our home and provided us with a thorough quote and thoroughly explained what each of our options were, what the cost was and the pros/cons for us to weigh for ourselves.
Once we chose an option they were equally as fast to come out to begin the work. We really appreciated the policy of not paying until the work was 100% completed and we were 100% satisfied. They did a great job and we could almost immediately see the benefit of the work-- the humidity was down and we did not have any (new) issues with our hardwood floors which had been especially frustrating.
Unfortunately, not long after they completed the work we were effected by the October floods. We were devastated that all the work that had been done was literally washed away. Once again, the folks at Carolina Green went above and beyond. Mere days after the water receded they came to replace the humidifier, help get the rest of the water out, work to prevent any mold or moisture damage, and repair of the damage. It was a huge relief have this repaired so quickly. They have been extremely understanding as we continue to work with our flood insurance, which has, again, left us with so much gratitude for how great they have been in every area of their business.
We would highly recommend this company to everyone!
