    Grass Barber Lawn Management
First drain placed was not the correct drain for the type of water problem. It was a solid pipe with 3 drain boxes placed at intervals. The boxes weren't placed in the correct location plus they weren't flush with the grading. Got him to come out to fix it and again the box wasn't placed in the correct location. Water problem was still present so I contacted him to come and fix it with the proper drain which is a french drain. He came out unprepared for the job on a Saturday. He didn't have enough gravel nor perforated pipe. Contacted him to let him know that his employees didn't have enough materials and was told that I would have to wait until Monday to finish the job. I live in a neighborhood with an HOA, this would be strike against me to leave a muddy and ugly mess for 2 days before getting it done. After finally pressuring him enough he agreed to spend more money and purchase the required amount of gravel from lowes or home depot. I speak Spanish and could understand everything they were saying. He came over on his truck cursing the entire time he was unloading the gravel. Had he done the job correctly in the first place this would have been avoided. After the fact, my yard was left as a muddy mess and even now the drain isn't working correctly because the grading for the pipes wasn't performed correctly either. My grass is dying and he did not bother to seed my yard.

    Ethical Plumbing
My garbage disposal had been leaking and the leak had gotten worse. I am fairly handy but decided to hire someone for this job to save me from spending an entire Saturday under the sink. I contacted Ethical Plumbing on a Sunday, through their website, and was totally surprised to get a call the same day! We were able to schedule the work for later in the week. The plumbers called while en route and arrived exactly when they said they would. Very friendly and I enjoyed visiting with them. They needed to add a longer pipe, which I was not charged for. They quickly changed out the disposals and triple checked to make sure there were no leaks. Before leaving, I was shown the warranty card. Left the job site very clean. Work was done in about an hour.

I Was on vacation and received a call from one of my tenants. Went to Angies List and started reading the reviews for Operation Drains. They called my tenant to schedule an appointment and went over within 24 hours.  What a great service provider I was very pleased at the price and the punctuality.  Would definitely use them again.

I had originally called my home warranty company after being told by a termite company that i had a small leak under my home. Well I had a few other small things that needed to be repair so I went ahead and called for a plumber to come out. Well these guys came out, claimed there was no leak under the house. I had them replace a handle on the bathtub, which they did a half way job on. They gouged the metal up, now it has sharp edges on it. Then they "fixed" a running toilet. Well after they left the toilet ran worse then it did before. They left mud all in the bathroom, and a mess all in the bathtub from the repair. Very unprofessional.  I call them back the owner talks with me says he will come out and fix the toilet for sure. So he comes back out looks at the toilet says he has to order a part, and leaves. I never heard from him again so I just said the heck with it, and fixed it my self. Companies like these are what give so many contractors a bad reputation. Waste of my time, and my service fee from a home warranty company.

He arrived earlier than expected which was great. We discussed what needed to be done and he suggested adding a new kind of water line that won't burst in the cold. I wasn't even aware this was made so it great that he was able to suggest that for me. He said it would take about 2 hours but it ended up taking about 4 hours but that was alright after I saw what all he did in such a tight space. I was actually surprised it only took 4 hours. Very professional service. He even took the liberty of fixing a few other things that he noticed might break in the future. Will definitely call in the future if things go wrong again.

    Bradley Construction LLC

I called Bradley Construction because I needed several home repairs before putting my house on the market to be sold.  They returned our phone call promptly.  Several other companies never returned our calls.  They scheduled a time to come out to discuss the repairs and give me a free estimate.  I worked with Vaughn Mitchell.  He was prompt on the day of the estimate.  He took the time to understand my situation and discuss the necessary repairs.  He told me that he would make repairs if possible and replace if necessary.  Other companies wanted to rip/replace everything without trying to make repairs.  That would end up costing me more money.  So, I appreciated Vaughn's willingness to look out for my wallet!  The job took about one week to complete.  The contractors were always prompt and courteous.  They took special care to keep my home clean while performing the work.  My front porch had several rotten spots.  Vaughn had the contractors replace the parts that weren't salvageable or weren't structurally sound.  He was able to repair several portions of the porch instead of replacing the entire porch.  This saved me money.  The contractors replaced an external kitchen door that had some rot at the bottom of the frame.  This same external door had a small amount of rot in front of it under the linoleum in the kitchen.  Instead of just ripping up all the linoleum and repairing the floor Vaughn had the contractors try and peel back the linoleum to repair the floor and they were going to try and lay the linoleum back down afterwards.  The linoleum ended up ripping.  Vaughn came up with an idea to create a small "entrance" using Parkay flooring at this door that was similar to the entrance at my front door.  They cut out the linoleum to create this "entrance" replaced the rotten floor and layed down the Parkay.  This saved me a lot of money!  It would have cost me around $2000 extra to have all the linoleum ripped up and replaced and would have added several days to the job.  Bradley Construction stands out because they are a professional company that does quality work for reasonable prices.

They did a great job! Eli and Trevor worked very hard installing a new water supply line from the water meter to the house. The old one had sprung a leak under the driveway. They even made sure that a block retaining wall was redone so it didn't even look like anything had been done. I will definitely call them again the next time I have a plumbing problem!

    Carolina Plumbing
Ed could not have been nicer.  He showed up when promised, immediately identified the problems in the bathroom and fixed them.  He had me turn on all faucets so he could go into the crawlspace under the house to check for leaks. Turns out there were no leaks, so no damage, and therefore no big repairs needed!
Ed noticed that the hot water heater overflow pipe ran down too close to the ground, so he cut it a little shorter so that overflow would be easier to spot.
I'll definitely call Carolina Plumbing when/if I have any more plumbing problems or issues.
PS - The service was not free; Angie's list instructions stated that " If cost is unknown, you may input a zero."  ... so that's what I did.
