AStandridge Masonry & RepairTony Standridge and his crew did an outstanding job to transform our back yard into a beautiful oasis. He was very professional, conscientious, punctual and reasonably priced and far exceed all my expectations. Tony's crew built a stacked stone wood burning outdoor fireplace, retainer wall and stone paver patio that sits under an Arbor swing. They also resurfaced our stamped concrete patio. This was no easy task because the only way to get to this area of the backyard was to carry all the material from the front yard to the back and down a set of steps. They ended up removing a railing and built a scaffold to get the material from the upper level of the yard to the lower level. Tony made sure his crew had all the material they needed to get the job done and he was constantly there to oversee the job and made sure everything was done top notch. And it was. Of all the renovations we have done to our house over the years, this one has been the most rewarding and the one I will enjoy the most.- Janet F.

AStandridge Masonry & RepairTony did a great job building our brick mailbox and repairing our front steps. He responded promptly to our inquiry and brought samples that he thought would complement our 32 year old house. The mailbox is beautiful and looks like it has always been there. The brick he recommended is perfect and we are very happy with the quality of the work. Our front steps had gaps in the mortar after years of wear. Tony repaired them so water no longer gets in the cracks between the bricks. We are very happy with the appearance of the steps and Tony’s attention to detail. FM Dillon Construction, Inc.Worse experience ever. The owner refuses to respond directly to complaints and when given the option to do the right things, he chooses to take every advantage to get one over on you. Mike Dillon strikes first because he assumes he's always boxing. MDC is a highly unprofessional company with very limited ability in the industry and a horrible reputation due to the petty owner and constant mismanagement.- Sharon L.

AOwens Chimney SystemsJames Owens was very up front with me when he discussed when he could do the work. He was completing a very big job and he would begin my house immediately following. He did exactly as he said and sent Tony and Joseph to do the work. Tony and Joseph were great. They were very respectful of us and our house and went about their work very professionally. It was a very dirty job breaking out the old flues and rebuilding essentially from the ground up. Tony even volunteered to install some additional bracing in my crawlspace on his own. James Owens the owner came down one day and we discussed the project and once again I was quite impressed with his approach and the quality of work. When it was all said and done, he charged me less that originally quoted and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. AROCK SOLID BRICK PAVERSThis review is long overdue. We had Rock Solid come out about 2 years ago to make a rock patio where a deck and fence use to be. Since that time we have added a screened porch over some of the patio area. It was not an easy project as there was a substantial slope from some backyard steps up to our pool to our house door. They did an incredible job. When it rains there is no puddling anywhere. I was afraid there might be since they had to pretty much rework the backyard. We are still so happy with it. Every time I go outside I am so thankful for our patio and the great work they did. I pray an extra special blessing for them. Thank you, Todd, for not giving up on a project that would have caused some to run away. We would use them again.- Becky B.

AMD Masonry LLCThe job went as it should do when you hire a professional contractor. I got MD Masonry's quote within several days of request and the cost was competitive with other quotes received. I had their certificate of Insurance almost instantly and found them to be fully licensed to do the work. The work began on the scheduled day and progressed quickly. Danielle went out of her way to locate a particular and hard-to-find gravel for our planting bed behind the wall. She also suggested and implemented an additional retaining wall around a favorite tree to make use of the few leftover wall blocks and caps that we had supplied. We're looking forward to having MD Masonry back to help us with some brick and sidewalk repairs. The job cost in excess of $10,000. Danielle and her crew delivered above and beyond expectations. You won't go wrong with MD Masonry doing your project.- James C.

AWorking with Construction Specialties of Columbia Inc. was a wonderful experience. Daniel and his team are true professionals. Daniel is attentive, detail oriented, and most importantly honest. His projected cost for the project aligned pretty close to the final tally, which is indicative of Daniel's knowledge of the construction and remodeling field, his attention to detail, and his familiarity and working relationship with community suppliers and individuals in the various trades. Remodeling an old house included a hiccup or two. Though there were a few obstacles, Daniel carefully assessed each situation and provided me with several options for each. He was also willing to listen to alternative solutions, which was particularly important for me as a woman working on this project with him.
