    East Coast Granite and Marble
Decided on our granite on a Saturday and on Monday they were at our house measuring and demolishing our old countertops. A week later we had new countertops. The reason they don't receive an A and only a B on quality is their measurements were either off or the installers didn't line the granite up right but they basically trapped our stove in. We were updating our kitchen and when the new stove came in I couldn't get the old one out so they had to come back out and shave the edges down. Other issue was when they took our old sink out they didn't leave the garbage disposal connector so we had to buy a new one when the new sink came in.

Everything from start to finish was great. Staff was nice, prompt and responsive to calls. I was able to pick out my quartz at their facility and, though they are quite a distance away from me, it was worth the trip. The installation people were very nice, friendly and professional. The job done was excellent. They advised me I needed to buy new faucets which likely saved me time when the plumber comes to rehook up water, etc.

    Tru - Bilt Homes, Inc.

This was supposed to be a 4-6 week project, but after watching the actual work effort, could and should have taken no more than 5. In actuality it took 8. As a sub-contractor I don't fauilt Tru-Bilt for all the delays but most of the delay was caused by them being understaffed and pulling the limited resource from my project to do other work. We would never know IF someone was going to show up to work on any given day, when they would have to leave, or what they were planning on getting done.

As an example, the owner came to our house on a Friday near the and quot;endand quot; and said there was only two days of work remaining and that it would get done starting Monday. The worker assigned DID start on Monday, worked some on Tuesday but was pulled the remaining three days of that week. It took an additional 5 - 7 days even then only had him part time.

There was a great deal of wasted time and effort in redoing the same work. An example is that one worker was told to paint the bathrooms and kitchen. The next worker came in to do the tile work and got mortar all over the freshly painted walls, doors, cabinets so it had to be redone.

These were good people to work with. Doug (the owner) was quite helpful during the initial phases of selecting the materials and styles of the vanity, shower, and worked with us on the selection of the granite. The installers were top notch, experienced, and fun to work with. So overall we are quite pleased with the finished product and will most certainly deal with them in the future.

The project was not without issues, but Doug worked well with us to resolve each of them. If I have any recommendation it would be to make sure everything is written down and communicated clearly.

    Marble and Granite Tops
Marble and Granite Design Inc. installed countertops and a sink.   The installed sink fell due to lack of epoxy glue breaking the water line. Under the sink was flooded and the insulation was soaked.  The owner , Peter Vardi, came by  and looked at the sink and broken water lines and walked out leaving my husband to go to out and buy caps for a temporary fix.    A new sink was installed.    I also purchased a faucet that was defective and had a broken hose after 5 months of installation again flooding under my sink.  Peter brought a defective hose and replaced it in the faucet.  The defective hose broke again 4 months later,  flooding under my sink for the third time.
I called Marble and Granite design and they admitted the hose was defective.  I asked for a refund for the European faucet and they refused.  I asked to speak to Peter because the office workers were extremely rude and yelling they would not give any refunds.  I never heard back from Peter and contacted the Better Business Bureau.
