  A team of 3 showed up at my door and I nearly cried in relief! They immediately got busy and worked like a bee hive! My house literally sparkled and smelled wonderfully of a spick-and-span home again. I have many ornamental objects from travels around the world and many antique pieces of furniture which I had concerns about. Not to worry! Great care was taken and everything was in its place. The cleaning team worked so professionally, and I felt they really cared about my desire to have my home clean again. When they left I couldn't let them leave without a hug!! I walked around my house and just had to smile! (Carolyn, the owner, was a jewel!)

  We trusted Elizabeth in our home to clean and take care of cats. We noticed things missing here and there but thought little of it until June 5, 2017 when all of our jewelry vanished. In a sting with Richland county police department, she was caught with our things (as well as things we didn't realize were gone) and she confessed. As of the writing of this review, she is in the detention center charged with Grand Larceny greater than 10K.   ServiceMaster of Mid-Carolina

  Miserable experience dealing with ServiceMaster Mid Carolina (5816 Shakespeare Road Columbia, SC 29223) Namely 1-False advertising on the website and 2- no customer service. I am currently serving overseas on a one year military assignment but have been given orders to return back to the US this week and subsequently move my family to Oklahoma immediately thereafter. I am searching for companies that can clean all floors in my 2,818 sq foot house (about 1500sf of carpet cleaning, 250 sf of tile and grout cleaning and 1000sf of hardwood floor cleaning) before we rent our house out. I initially contacted on Mid Carolina Service Master on 29 May to get quote for cleaning all these floors. It is a big job that most companies would love to have. All my phone calls went to an answering service; it was almost impossible to actually get a human on the phone at this location. Since I am overseas it is impossible to simply leave a phone number and have somebody return my call at THEIR convenience. When I finally got an answering service attendant to answer my calls he informed me that the franchise does not clean tile or hardwoods even thought website explicitly states they do. However he didn't seem confident in what he was saying ...also stated they couldn't help me or get me in touch with someone at the actual franchise location. I checked the website again and made a second try to get a hold of someone at the franchise on Friday 2 June - this time the answering service stated they DID do tile and hardwoods but that an employee would have to call me back. Because I am overseas we agreed that was impractical so I gave them my email address and asked to please reach out that day. There was no response for 3 DAYS. I called back on Monday 5 June - repeated same story. Finally got an email reply on 6 June from the owner of a different franchise stating he had been contacted by the owner of the Mid Carolina Franchise location Ms. Betty Evans. We exchanged emails about the job, my address, etc seeking a price quote. On 7 June received an email saying that he was sorry but my house is out of their service area and that Service Master could not complete the job; no other explanation given. Exchanged a few emails / phone calls back and forth; no satisfactory explanation was given. The Mid Carolina, SC franchise could not try harder to run business away, I am completely disappointed in our first experience this company. The Mid Carolina franchise needs to remove "tile" and "hardwood floor cleaning" from the list of services they provide on your corporate website if they do not perform them. This entire experience has been a complete waste of my time. I will avoid this company in the future and encourage as many of our friends as possible to avoid it as well.

  We noticed several things missing here and there but thought we were forgetful. June 5, 2017 I had a lot of my jewelry vanish after her visit. In a sting operation with Richland county police department, they arrested her with our items, plus others we did not know she had stolen. She confessed and is now, as of the writing of this review, in the detention center with a charge of Grand larceny >10K. If you have used her and discover things missing, please contact the Richland county Sheriff department at (803) 576-3000. I hope this review helps others to be protected.

  Detailed Excellence Cleaning Solutions

  I use Detailed Excellence Cleaning Solutions for weekly house cleaning.  They told me the reason it costs so much when they first come out is because they do such a deep cleaning.  My first impression was that she was very professional.  She came out and we went through the house, she sat down with me and told me what they would do and everything.  I thought the price was a little high.

  Window Genie of North Columbia

  I was completely satisfied with the workmanship. Window Genie arrived on time on the day scheduled. The pressure washing was performed first, and the house looks better than it has in years. Once the windows and screens were cleaned I could not remember when my windows looked better. They even were able to remove glue that was stain some windows. The glue was a residue left over from some decals that had long since peeled off the windows.

  Pride Carpet Cleaners

  It went excellent, they moved the furniture. They were professional and did not leave my carpet soaking wet. They took my rug outside and cleaned it which I appreciated. I thought they did an outstanding job. I liked them so much I referred them to my neighbor.

  I spoke with Larry regarding pricing and pick-up/delivery of two of my area rugs. He was quick to respond and give me a quote. We arranged a pick-up date and the drivers were on time and courteous.   Palmetto Dryer Venting

  David came to my home, was very professional. He diagnosed the problem with my dryer taking multiple cycles as a duct that needed to be cleaned. After his cleaning, a load of laundry that included 4 pairs of jeans was completely dry after 1 normal cycle lasting 41 mins. I would definitely recommend his services.
