    Mcdaniels Mazda - Columbia
Body work was excellent. Paint match was excellent. The whole door & rear pannel was painted so there is no issue with blended paint. I cannot tell there was ever any damage even when I look closely. Work was scheduled for one week, but took an additional 3 days. The tech was working on another job. Delay was blamed on waiting for running board end cap. I finally demanded to get the truck without the cap and the delivered it to my hoouse and took the rental vehicle back for me (a nice touch). I declined to have the end cap installed after it came in because they cleaned up the old one so well. Roof rack bolt holes are installed on the roof as asked and temporary bolts installed waiting for me to install the rack. I paid $100 directly to the tech for this job.

    Danny's Automotive
I left my car at the shop the night before. Danny's does great work for a fair price. They are honest and stand by their work. I just would prefer they initiate calling and giving updates. I know they are very busy and very well respected. The only downside was I had to call around lunch time to check on things. The tech had evaluated but it was another 2 hours before I knew that needed to be done. I had requested the work to be done the day after I left the car which it was. When I arrived at the shop my parts were just being delivered.  I had to wait another 1 1/2 hours at the shop after I got a ride there from work.  All was completed by their closing time. I am happy with the work and will go back.

    Dick Dyer Toyota
.I'm very pleased with Dick Dyer Toyota. They do a good job. For a general service they were quick, clean and they don't try to sell you a lot of crap that you don't need. What I really liked and it has to do with previous services I had is that they're very quick to point out things that could cost you money but they would say "this is under warranty so don't worry about it" so I really like that.

    Royson's Blythewood Automotive
I've got a car over there now. They're having to do some major work to the block of the motor. It's an old collector's car, so it's a bit different than these new fangled ones. Their prices are good. They're detailed. That will probably be the only mechanic that I use. I don't use them that often. They have to pull the motor out and do the rear main seals as well as the oil pan gasket then put the motor back in. It's just a little over a thousand dollars, which is phenomenal. I would say good things about them.

    MEINEKE CAR CARE CTR
I was having muffler issues that turned out to be more complicated than just a muffler replacement.  I had two mechanics to review and both confirmed the same complications, but Meineke came in a decent amount less and talked me through the whole thing. They were great. I get my brakes there too and have never had an issue - unlike my wife who uses $99 Brakes and needs to return frequently.

    Royson's Blythewood Automotive
I had bought a used car a couple days before and it started dripping oil severely. I took it to Royson's and they diagnosed it as the crank seal and then went over all the possibilities. I had them fixed it for just under $300. They were very honest, the pricing seemed right and 6 months later, not a problem. The only issue was a delay in communication (getting my approval) - which was partly my fault, but they didn't try calling more than once - a day was wasted when they could have repaired it sooner. Still, I'd use them again. Wish they were open on Saturday.

    Dick Dyer Toyota
The brake job was unexpected, but justified. I deferred other recommendations for another day, and was not pressured on them.

Dyer has been taking care of my Avalon for years. It's dealer parts and labor rates, so no cost bargain, but they treat me and my cars well. I feel I get what I pay for, in terms of both the work done and the courtesy and professionalism.

It also helps that I can set appointments online and the waiting area has free guest wifi, coffee, and bottled water.

Chris Ayers usually manages my service, but all of the reps are good to work with. The only complaint is that the staff at the billing desk are sometimes more abrupt or slow to respond.

    Dick Dyer Toyota
They are very prompt. Because I bought the car from them, the tire rotation was free. They said it would take 45 minutes for each service and that is exactly how long it took so they were correct on their time estimate. Their waiting room is very comfortable. It is a very clean facility and it is brand new. They do a very good job on getting me in and out. The car was washed when I got it back. They were definitely professional. They are my exclusive car place.
