    Savannah Blinds Shutters and Shades
This is one of the best companies to work with, and I highly recommend them. Their work and quality of product is phenomenal. I could not be any happier with my purchase, instillation, and friendliness of the owners. The prices were cheaper than other leading companies. I felt like I was a priority buyer from start to finish. Also, this company bent over backwards for me to make sure that I had the best customer service. Highly recommended.

I showed Mr. Albert pictures from Veranda magazine that did not have a valance and were placed inside the window frame. I have unusual windows and he said they would have to be mounted on the outside. Being concerned how they would look and never having blinds only shutters, he assured me they would look really good. When they came and were installed you can see from the pictures they are horrible. Mr. Albert told me the returns were wrong and he came back when Hunter Douglas sent him new ones. He also thought new brackets would help. Well it didn't, and I was told by him and Hunter Douglas that they wouldn't do anything about it. Mr. Albert offered to lower the price and took off a whopping $265. The blinds have black out lining and as you can see since they hang 2 in. and one room 3 in. from the wall leaving plenty of light in next to the bed. The pictures I showed him did not have an eyelet and was told that the valance would have covered it. How is that custom if all they did was not put a valance? And how is this good customer service when I pay and get lousy blinds? Sick to my stomach every time I look at them!!! Everyone who sees them cannot believe that someone would even think they are acceptable, especially from what Hunter Douglas is supposedly one of the best companies. Beware people, Hunter Douglas and Palmetto Shutters do not back their work.

    Jacksonville Blinds & Shutters
We recently purchased a new home in Del Webb at Nocatee. Based on Angie's List reviews, I contacted Jacksonville Blinds and Shutters to install all the window coverings in the house. Thomas could not have been more helpful. He listened to what we thought we wanted and made some suggestions which improved upon our ideas. We have a large pocket sliding glass door to the lanai. Our living room was a fish bowl at night and we were at a loss to figure out how to cover it. We did not want vertical blinds. Thomas suggested two honeycomb shades with remote control. Absolutely perfect and so easy to operate. At no time did he try to sell us something that wasn't right for our home. Thomas and his assistant, Sean, are extremely accommodating. He was able to have the all shades installed the day we moved into the house. The plantation shutters took longer, but as soon as they were ready, he was here to install them. I believe in supporting local, small businesses such as Jacksonville Blinds and Shutters. The service is personalized and the attention to detail is generally far superior to national franchises. This company is exceptional in customer service. I highly recommend them.

I then called and set up a day for them to come out and measure and for me to make the selection. Bob was on time. He held up the samples once again and I confirmed my choice. He measured the two windows and again went over the functions. He was able to build the quote on his hand held computer and take my credit card payment. The time frame to make these cellulars was 4 weeks.

    The price included the install.

I am pleased with the product and with their professionalism.

Bob arrived at 10:10, introduced himself and came into the kitchen. He asked about what type of window treatment I'd like and then went out to the truck to get the sample books. He held up the color samples to the window so I could get a good feel for how it would look with the light coming through. I chose a Hunter Douglas cellular with top down.bottom up with the UltraGlide feature. He measured, input everything, and showed me the price. It was more than I wanted to spend, so we went to their Signature Series book and I picked out another color and style and he priced it. This time it was good.
He was able to print out a receipt and take my credit payment with his devices. Completion time is 3 weeks. He told me about the 5 year warranty and gave me info to that effect.

The salesman recommended a plantation shutter as top quality. It was quite costly and does not meet my expectations for the cost. I have had shutters in five different homes and these are not what I consider a-one. The shutter on the door is designed in a way it is not possible to put your fingers behind the door handle. The window shutters allow light around the frame.

    Palmetto Shutter Co
Had the measurements taken and estimate on December 3 with an estimated delivery of 4 weeks, according to the invoice. I contacted the company in early January but was unable to schedule installation before I had to leave for a month. E-mail contact was not immediate and when we did connect I was unable to schedule installation for the week I returned. The owner was apologetic for the delay and gave me a discount for the communication issues. I do think he has taken something positive away from this.
Detailed measurements were taken. The types of shutters to be hung, and the reason why certain types were advised to be used, was explained. Installation was also detailed oriented. Andrew came back a few days later after refining the measurements of the shutters on one set of shutters and planing for a better fit several other installed sets. He was very professional in addressing my disappointment in the scheduling delay.
I definitely would recommend Palmetto Shutter Company to anyone wanting quality shutters.

The purchase and installation went smoothly, with office, measurer and installers prompt and professional. However, the blinds were installed a few inches above the frame which we felt looked bad. We called and they came to review them. They told us that is their normal installation, but they wanted us to be satisfied. They replaced them with the length we wanted at no charge with no bickering.

Overall, the experience with Morgan was great but there are a couple of things that I wanted to point out to future customers.  First of all, I would highly recommend him even though I will not give this business 5 stars.  Morgan is very attentive and calls back immediately so, that alone, deserves KUDOS; especially in today's world of almost non-existent customer service.  His prices are more than reasonable and there was no need to have him reduce his quote.  My windows were custom and, because of the outward handle, he had to be very creative in the installation.  The installation was beautiful and he did a great job.  Where I was disappointed was with the quality of the shutter that I chose.  I didn't know enough and I guess I expected Morgan to explain the negatives of the non-wood shutter.  Yes, it looked like wood and is a better fit for the southern humidity but there are gaps all around the top and bottom that allows light to filter into the room.  Compared to my friend's custom shutters (that did cost 2X the price), they look cheap.  However, they cost 2X the price.  If you are not expecting an extremely high quality and want to keep the price down, these shutters look very nice.

    Liberty Wallcoverings And Window Blinds
Everything went well.   All blinds were installed perfectly and we are very pleased with the result.  Two semi-circular window coverings were changed as we did not like the end result color without problem.
This is a family run business and all the people are competent, well trained and customer service oriented.
    Thank you!
