    Rocco Custom Remodeling llc
Hayner was very courteous and prompt in our communications. He accepted my changes graciously. I recommend Rocco Custom Remodeling to anyone needing this kind of work. I will be calling on him again in the future for more remodeling.

    Live Oak Electrical Services
The service went very well. At the last minute I needed to reschedule because of a conflict in my day and they were very gracious about changing the time. I really appreciated their understanding. On the new day, they showed up on time and were extremely professional.

    Dietra Nickerson
This is the third house for which Ive hired Dietra Nickerson to help me with various phases of remodeling. She is my go to professional for all phases of remodeling. Since she works alone, her schedule doesnt allow her to accept every job, but I would wait for her over using any other contractor, especially for her precision painting, attention to detail and eye for good design. For this job, prior to moving in, the house needed racks of wire shelving removed from closets, laundry room and garage, affected walls extensively patched, interior painting throughout, a powder room remodel which included building a partition wall and adding drywall, wainscoting, tile, finish carpentry, sink, toilet and lighting - a work of art! - removing and retiling a kitchen backsplash, adding under cabinet lighting, adding crown moldings, even adding a new dryer vent. In short, she does it all and does it well. Dietra is conscientious and meticulous. She works alone and with dedication to the job at hand, so dont expect the kind of contractor who drops off a crew of helpers and disappears, or looks to do a speedy, shoddy job and move on. Hers is quality workmanship and shes rightfully proud of what she accomplishes. The work on this job has taken about six weeks in total and Im extremely pleased with the results. I recommend her highly and in fact prefer her workmanship over any other contractor Ive used.

    Reilley's Screen Enclosures
Mr. Reilley does top-notch work! He is a terrific visionary and producer. The build took approximately 6 weeks; starting with prepping and pouring a 59Lx13W concrete slab, and ending with a finished 27Lx13Wx16H aluminum enclosure. He led a team of subcontractors that produced a beautifully finished screened porch that we love. Mr. Reilley coordinated the numerous aspects of this build and he was always responsive to our questions or concerns.

    SureLine
Mr. Ben Barnes and SureLine had been recommended to us by the lighting store where we purchased the lights he was to install. (Mr. Barnes is NOT an employee of that store; he was on their list of recommended electricians.) We contacted Mr. Barnes and set a firm appointment (specifying date and time) to install interior lighting in our home. Mr. Barnes promised to arrive at our home on the date and time agreed. However, on the date and at the time...NO SHOW! After allowing a reasonable time for him to arrive...we attempted, repeatedly, to telephone/text Mr. Barnes to determine his whereabouts. No response. None. Thereafter, we tried to contact him throughout the day....again: No response. We are understanding and reasonable people...we know that "things happen," particularly in the building trades or in people's personal lives. However, two days later...still no word. No call. No apology. No explanation. We were forced to find another electrician...which is no easy task in this growing area. Mr.Barnes may be a superb electrician; but he is a poor businessperson. Failing to show at an established appointment and failing to respond to repeated inquiries thereafter is unprofessional.

    Jeff Ballard Contracting
Excellent work, Can't express enough what a great experience it was working with Jeff and his crew. Throughout the process we were out of town and this was no problem. Jeff is extremely thorough and keeps you up to date with emails and pics. Our neighbors also complemented his crew on their professionalism. Jeff's recommendations were spot on as well. He hooked us up with some great suppliers and they worked seemlessy together making our lives much easier. We have a kitchen remodel coming up and we only have to make one phone call when we're ready. Jeff is the only contractor we wish to work with. We only hope he's available. If not, we'll wait.

    Smart Green Development
All went well, Timothy was very professional, showed up on time, and got the job done to the extent he could without some unique switches and face plates that were needed. His normal rate is $150 an hour. It took an hour and a half to get the new box rewired. I purchased the switches and installed them and the face plates to finish the job.

    Mr. Whipple's Home Repair Services
They're really good.? All of us older people have a little combination of things.? They're very good at giving you an economic price and then when they get there, they're always throwing something in.? They specialize in home inspection repairs.? They do carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, electrical, and wood rot.? When they were here, the nice thing is I have twelve foot ceilings and they replaced all the light bulbs for me.? The other nice thing that they did is - I have a permanent vent return, you know, like air condition return but it's permanent where you don't change, you have to take it down off the wall and hose it off, and I didn't have a hose so they took it home and scrubbed it and brought it back and put it in.? It seems like they were here four times for $1,400.00.? They had to take the vent home because I didn't have a hose, and they had to go get some trim wood to install the stove.? In other words, they didn't up the price.? This is what I'd like to say, they did not increase the price due to unforeseen complications, and that is so rare.? They had to move the electrical box in order to install the double oven because it was replacing like an oven and microwave, but the electrical box had to be moved on the wall and they just did that.? They're licensed to do electrical, plumbing, and everything, you know.? It's he and his wife and crew.? They do give free estimates with no pressure.? I felt no pressure.? As a matter of fact, what they do is, they come in and then they e-mail it to you, so there's no pushiness.? They gladly took care of some other details that I had when they got here.? They did plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and they have all their own equipment.? I give them an A on everything.? I didn't know them until I called them out of a magazine. I liked their professionalism, their warm friendliness, and their willingness to do a few extra things that I needed done.? It took them two days to complete all of the work.?

    Hilton Head Solar
We recently had Hilton Head Solar install a solar system to heat our in-ground pool at our Bluffton residence. The price was very reasonable considering the size of our pool, and we are extremely pleased with the result, as it extended the season for the pool by at least four months at virtually no operating cost. Initially, it took about 2 weeks for the solar system to heat the pool to our desired temperature (85 to 89) and it has kept the pool at that temperature during the day, even though the night time temperature has occasionally been in the 50s, allowing us to use the pool virtually every day since initial installation (March) and start-up. The assessment was very professional and they quickly determined that they were able to integrate the controls for the solar system directly into the pool controls that we already had both saving us money and eliminating the nuisance of having multiple control systems. They also were very helpful in getting the project approved by our local ARB by providing all of the requested information on a timely basis. The installation was quick and also very professional, as they were able to get everything operating within a day and one half. They also completely cleaned up when they were finished. We very highly recommend Hilton Head Solar for solar heating projects

    Woodrow's Electrical Services
I had an outdoor light, which we use, two and three times a night, I have to take the dogs outside. The builder put it at the sliding glass door, which we didn't use. So I had to go to the back door, turn the light on, go to the door. I let the dogs out, and they're in a hurry, and sometimes I'd forget to turn the light on. I'd have to go back, and I had asked the builder if they could put it at the back door, and they said no they couldn't. When TJ was here he said that he can fix it for me, and that's no problem. He put a wireless switch there, and it is awesome now. Every time I have to go out the door with the dogs, I have the light right where I want it. He also installed some motion detectors outside because there have been some break in's in the area, so we had that done. If I have anything else electrical I definitely will call him back. I have nothing negative to say about him, he came very quickly, and did the work efficiently. His quality is excellent. He was here very quickly and he came on the day he said he would. He was very professional. I would absolutely use him again.
