Nicholas, Juan, and crew did an outstanding job, and a very challenging one at that. The hung a heavy bed swing on our outside porch, having to remove a tin ceiling, trim, and plyboard, before adding reinforcing joists. Their work was thorough, careful, and of good quality. I can recommend them without hesitation.

Mr. Perez did excellent work at my home. His work was precise and neat and orderly. I am more than satisfied with his work and his willing attitude. I will definitely be calling him for future work.

Perez and his helper did and excellent job. It took a little longer than expected but no cost to me. He communicated very well about situations that came up with family and a newborn baby at Christmas time. The work was first class and the cost was a little under the estimation.

    Discount Renovations
Perez Graham and discount renovations is BEST contractor I have dealt with thus far in the Sumter, SC area. I am in the military and am currently managing my Sumter home from California. Finding someone to do work on my house has been a pain up till now. What sets Perez apart from other contractors is his professionalism. He calls when he says he is going to call, and keeps you in the loop (on his own!) as to the status of the project he is working on. Perez even texted me before, during, and after photo's along the way to keep me up to date with the work he was doing. Additionally, his price point is very fair. I was quoted $750 for this job by another contractor in the local area. Perez did the job for $455, which felt very fair given the scope of the work and condition of the wood he was painting. Another thing I liked about Perez is his attention to detail. I expressed concern about paint getting spilled/splattered on my current renters furniture on the porch, and his response was and quot;I don't spill paint, nor do I hire people that spill paint or are sloppy paintersand quot;. He then sent me pictures before he started the job of any pre-existing paint splatter done by the previous painter so I could see the quality of his work. So again, I could not be more pleased with the work Perez Graham and discount renovations did on my house. I feel relieved to finally have a contractor in the area I can trust. If you don't hire him for your next job, I hate to say it, but you are messing up...

The project went excellent from start to finish. Doug and his crew were very professional and did high quality work. Mike was our site guy who asked good questions and made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted and did his best to deliver on every aspect. The communication was excellent from the first quote meeting with Doug, the start of the project with introductions to Mike and his team, all the way through completion. The project turned out better than we expected. Doug was very good at listening to our wants and desires. He was full of suggestions to make the project better and even shared some items that would save us money and get the desired effect. I do recommend Doug and his team highly and would use them again in the future.

I got them from Angie's List.  They were a good company.  They did a good job for us.  Mr. Powell was a very nice person.  He was prompt and came out on time.  He gave us a good estimate.  It took him a day to get it back to us.  They were prompt when they came out to do the work.  They finished it on time.  It was a good price.  I had a problem about a month and half after they completed.  I called them up.  They came right out the next day and took care of it.  I was just pleased with the man.

Mr. Powell lives by a code of integrity. He lives in his work and life what he believes. We hired Mr. Powell to do extensive work for us. He framed an unusual home; a 2 story farmhouse. The bottom level is 1950 square foot shop, and exercise room, and top is 1950 square foot residence. Codes are strict for a shop under a residence, which we were not aware of at the time. He worked to frame the entire house, built a 16 x 30 foot deck 14 feet high which has strict codes by itself due to wind load, and framed the inside of the house. He installed our windows and many doors.. In a project this size, we had made changes. He worked with us.. We worked with him. He built the shaft for the elevator. He worked with my husband to figure out design challenges, and when something didn't work or wasn't right, he stuck with it until we got it right. He roofed our house, put in skylights. And sided the house, and put siding under the eves on one side. I would say his expertise is in the building aspect more than finish work. These are two separate skillsets. Mr. Powell's wife was very ill. Even with all that going on in his personal life, he worked hard and it is the job of a customer to have compassion on others' too. He is professional, he supervises his crew, and his prices are most reasonable. If anyone is looking for perfection in a process this size, you will be disappointed. My measure of success is in how problems are handled, not that there will not be any problems. Sometimes things like weather push back everyone. And that did happen. Then crews get behind on other work, just like flying out of an airport after inclement weather, everyone is scrambling to make everyone happy. It is a difficult job. Because every customer wants to be first. Inevitably someone will become impatient. When I know I am a priority, I can have patience. If I feel I am not important to a contractor, I will not be a priority. I never felt this way with Powell Construction.. I would hire him and his crew in a minute again. I just passed final inspection, and am very relieved. Codes change and we had to comply with some new updates. Thank you Mr. Powell for building us a beautiful home!

Mr. Powell started our deck on a Monday, and finished building it within a week. He worked many hours. This deck also has a portion of it covered with a roof. He wanted us to inspect everything to be sure that we were satisfied. He will tell you a date to start, and a date to complete a job, and he has done exactly that each time he has worked for us. He started the vinyl siding on a Monday and was finished in about 10 days. Our home is 2 story, 5 bedrooms, etc. very large. He did a perfect job. This was 18 years ago, and it has held up through all kinds of weather. We are very pleased.

Brandon overhauled my screened porch including replacing rotten floor joists, replacing the entire floor, covering walls and ceiling with vinyl siding, new screens - pretty much a new porch except for the roof.  He was there when he said he would be and his work was perfect.

The guy does excellent work. He has this little vacuum that he carries with him so he never leaves a mess. He's professional. For the amount of work he did, it was a reasonable price.
