    We have used this co before for a dishwasher repair. They were professional and reasonable. However, when we reached out for a different repair, we never received a response. Called on several occasions no response. We won't use them again.

    After Hours Appliance Repair
    Person who trouble shot freezer was punctual and knew what the trouble was quickly. Parts had to be ordered, and they did not come as quickly as we were told they would. When parts did arrive, the repair was done the next day, and freezer has worked fine since then.

    Veterans Home Service
    Did not go well. First installer thought he was done, then when he let go it ripped off the wall and we caught the TV. He had not anchored to a stud. He could not do it. So they called in David Wayne from Atlanta. He mounted it to the stud. But it is crooked, half a bubble off, nice. He said they would pay for fixing the wall when I wanted. After a while I requested $50 to fix the wall. I have made at least 6 contacts over several months to get reimbursed. No reimbursement yet. Oh and also, whenever one can't get through by phone, by email, they ALWAYS tell me Mr Wayne is on drill. Perhaps he should be around once in awhile to take care of business. I'm a vet myself but it's no good service to the public if you are not around. The real test of a business is less on the front end but on the back end when things don't go right. Here, the clearly overpromised, under-delivered and will avoid you like the plague if you try to get them to make it right. Last $ they will EVER see from me!

    I took the TV to his shop (small house) in South Augusta, where he had been for 18 years since retiring from the military. He had already given me good information over the phone about prognosis and possible options. I left it on Thursday, he called on Friday and it was fixed by Saturday for me to pick up. So far everything has worked fine, and we were pleased with the interaction and promptness of the service. He was a pleasant person with whom to work, gave realistic expectations, and followed through on calling us for the approval to proceed and the final finished work. He has an additional pickup charge or home service charge if you cannot take it to his shop. He does not use credit cards, so you must use only cash or check. The shop is an old house cluttered with electronics, so not much to look at, but a good fair price for good service.

    ELECTRIC MEDIC INC TV REPAIR
    He did fine in the repair and was a seemingly nice guy, but later got into trouble with the law due to not fixing people's TV that were brought into his shop. I think he is out of business now.     I was looking for air conditioner repair and called Augusta Appliance. They do not work on air conditioners but the man I talked to referred me to another company and gave me the phone number and contact name. We are new to the area and I really appreciated the extra few minutes he spent on the phone with me to get me hooked up with another company. That is quality customer service and I will definitely call them for appliance repairs in the future on this experience alone.

    shwasher.When I contacted Mr. Welch, he was unusually quick to schedule an appointment for the next day to look at my dishwasher, which was stopping in midcycle and would only resume washing if I pushed the door. He and an associate came, he looked at it, fiddled with the door latch, and supposedly repaired it. I used the dishwasher the next day but it did the same thing and was a little worse. I noticed that he left 2 rubber latch-like things in the bottom of the dishwasher. I have called him three times - first time, I left a message with his associate; second time, I spoke with Mr. Welch and since it was Friday, he said it would be Monday before he could get back to me.; third time (today), spoke with Mr. Welch again, and he said he was in the middle of something, would check his appointment book, and get back with he in 30 minutes. He has not and I believe he is being unresponsive on purpose.
    While he was at my home on the initial appointment, I asked him to look at my refrigerator ice maker which was jamming - he looked at it and said iI could get a new icemaker but that it was not really necessary and all I needed to do was let it get full with ice, then it would work. I have done this, and it is doing the same thing.
    It would be better and more acceptable if he just told me he could not fix my dishwasher rather than me having to chase him down and call repeatedly. Very frustating. I will not use him again and feel he was not honest with me. Additionally, this company was cheaper than others I called - you get what you pay for.

    DAVIS APPLIANCE REPAIR
    I was very happy with the service Davis gave. My dryer stopped working on Wednesday and the tech came out the next day. He arrived at the appointed time. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. He was able to give me an estimate of the cost to repair the dryer on the spot. I did not use them for repair because my dryer was 8 years old and did not want to invest money into something that old. I thought the service call was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I will be calling them if I need anymore appliance service.
