Lowcountry All Works is fantastic! I will never use anyone else. I have hired David Jarrell 5 times so far and his company's work is just the best. He gets here immediately to give a quote and work is performed within the week. He came and assessed the down branches that I had from the hurricane and quickly got it set up to mulch them. Saved me numerous trips to the dump. I also asked him for a quote to take down 11 trees and was pleasantly surprised with his the amount. He is the best and his prices are more than fair.

This is the second time that I have used Lowcountry Allworks. They are exceptional. They arrived on time removed three dead trees and then I asked if they could take out the shrubs I had in the front of my house and trim my crepe myrtles. They did all of this for a fantastic price. When they were done they cleaned up the area. I highly recommend them for all tree and shrub related services. It's a family business and they are very responsive to all calls and emails and schedule the appointment very quickly so you don't have to wait forever to get what you need done. I will always call them from now on. You can't beat the prices either.

    Bartlett Tree Experts
Very good, as usual. My go-to guy is Derrick Wells - for more than 10 years. This year, all plants really took off, whether from good spring or fertilization. The anti-mold treatment of palms, not so well. Theyre still grungy looking but I trust Bartlett based on longterm experience. They also were generous and kind enough to dump truckload of terrific shredded live oak for mulching my yard. Free.

David came out to my house and reviewed what I wanted done and gave me a quote. We scheduled an appt for a month later. He came the day that we scheduled and performed all the work cutting back huge tree limbs away from my house roof. It took him around 4 hrs since he couldn't use the bucket truck and had to climb up each tree to cut the limbs off. He did an outstanding job cutting them all back from my roof and cleaned up all the debris after. The price was excellent for the amount of work that he did. He was very professional and responded to my call the very day that I called him. I already have him lined up to do another job for me. He is now my go to person for all my tree services. I highly recommend him.

    Just Trees LLC
Hurricane Walter left us without power for 5 days, and two large oak trees leaning over my neighbor's fence. One was a danger to my neighbor's house. My insurance deductable for hurricanes prevented me from filing a claim. Just Trees LLC was doing tree removal in our community. I explained my situation to the lady appraiser and was scheduled a estimate later that day. You must understand how busy they were. My community is heavily wooded and suffered many fallen trees causing lots of damage. The appraiser arrived promptly and gave me a price. I am hearing impaired and wear two hearing aides. I misunderstood the price, and agreed to have the work done. My fault. They did the work promptly and in a excellent, professional manner. When my wife paid for the service, the price error was discovered. I told the lady that I didn't have that much.I explained my money situation. My wife has two brain aneurisms and the worst one had recently been treated. In the past month, my wife's mother had passed away; after a long illness, leaving funeral expenses. My sister had moved in with us while she awaits an apartment. The renters of my other house moved out  leaving me to pay double mortgage payments, on and on. I tried to take out a loan, but was refused. The appraiser replied; "Let's see what we can do. She returned later with an owner and a son. I feared the worst. I hate confrontation. My wife and I had been stressed out all day. "I've got good news", she said. She went on to tell me that they had decided to lower the price to something I could afford. They realized I had misunderstood the price, and the financial condition I'm in. My wife started crying. My voice was quivering a little. I told them of the prayers my church had for me to help me through this. God heard them. These people are family and their customers are too. GOD BLESS THEM.

    Just Trees LLC
After being evacuated from Hurricane Matthew I returned home to see our neighborhood in chaos from many downed trees, and several badly damaged homes. Every tree company in the area was already backed up with work. My sister manages properties in the area and was desperately trying to find a tree company to help us out. While on the phone with a man in Columbia, SC, he mentioned Just Trees, LLC.  He told her they had a great reputation in that area so she sent a message begging for help. The response from Penny Lindsay who partners with Frank Flemming was immediate. They packed up their equipment and arrived the next day. Penny was like a "triage doctor" prioritizing the most serious situations and Frank got to work climbing trees making stressed out homeowners feel confident that they would soon be safe.

To say they were a blessing is more than a comment. To me they arrived on angels wings. Frank and Penny showed compassion and concern for our problems, while reassuring us they could handle it all  And handle it they did. Along with Billy, Joey and Tyler they worked their way through our neighborhood with professionalism and smiles. Because of their caring attitudes, they have been "adopted" by us.   It's day 13 and they have a place to stay in here and people bringing them food! I think that should speak for itself as a recommendation.

Lastly, you are probably wondering "so what did this amazing service" cost? We have all agreed that their rates were better than expected and highly competitive.  Happily for us they will be staying on for another week. Our HOA has hired them to remove trees that were compromised by the hurricane.

Personally, I will miss them when they are gone. I can't thank them enough for all they have done.

    Complete Tree Service LLC
I highly recommend this company for their promptness and professionalism.  We had some large trees in our backyard that were in danger of possibly destroying our house and neighbor's houses in the event of a severe storm.  Mr. Platt was very pleasant and concerned and scheduled our service quickly despite dealing with rain delays.  His guys worked on Saturday and showed up on time, worked quickly and cleaned up the yard better than it was before the tree cutting!  They had to use climbing equipment because heavy equipment couldn't reach our yard.  They were very skilled and no damage was done to any fences or structures to my or my neighbor's yards.  They had to come back a second day to complete the work due to rain, but completed it as agreed.  Mr. Platt was generous in giving us both an Angie's list discount as well as a veteran's discount.  He is a man of his word and his employees are loyal, having worked for him for many years.  That says alot about a business these days and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Southern Tree Svs. of Beaufort, INC.
Estimates are given in a timely manner.  Once the work is approved Southern Tree schedules the work and the work is done on time.  I have used Southern Tree for more than 10 years for my property management business.

    SEA ISLAND TREE CARE
Wade and his crew did a remarkable job.  Instead of driving large power equipment all over our yard, they actually climbed the trees to work on them.  (we've seen other tree services utterly destroy yards by running loaders and large trucks all over...)  It was a pleasure to watch the crew work:  the bucket truck stayed on pavement, the crew dragged the cut stuff to the edge of the yard for pick-up, and the Bobcat loader only came on the yard to pick up large tree sections.  No damage to our lawn.  They cleaned up thoroughly and quickly, and left us with the desired result.  Could not have been a better job.  Highly recommended.  An example of the benefit of skill over force.

    ACTION TREE SVC
The primary contact at Action Tree Service was named Bob. He responded to our call quickly and arrived to give us an estimate within 3 days. A price was agreed upon, and they arrived for work 3 days later. A total of 11 trees were cut down (large and small) and removed. Due to light rain, we were told the workmen would have to wait to complete the work after the ground dried. The heavy equipment had created a low area in the back yard, which now holds water after every rain.  Bob had said he would have the crew landscape/fill the low area and other areas that had been disturbed with the equipment. There were also 4 large stumps that still needed to be ground down.  So far the tree service had been timely, efficient, and friendly.  A week passed, the rain stopped, but the tree service did not return.  After 2 weeks, I phoned the tree service and asked when they planned to come out and finish the work.  I was unable to speak to Bob, (who had previously been accessible by cell), so spoke to the secretary, who said she would get with Bob regarding the matter.  I did not receive an answer.  I called every week for 8 weeks without being able to speak to Bob and the company did not respond to my requests for them to complete the work as agreed upon.  Unfortunately, I had paid the fee in full once the last tree was cut but before the clean-up was completed.  I would not use or recommend Action Tree Service to others. If they have the best price and you do choose to use them, I encourage you to be sure to get everything in writing before they start, and do not pay anything until after all the work is completed.
