ABiotek Environmental Mold RemovalWe were intending to purchase an older home and were concerned there might be mold or mildew (a big allergy problem for me). Though the company is located in SC they were willing to come to the Savannah area to complete the inspection. It did add some cost due to the amount of time required to make the trip here and back (usually this inspection is not quite so expensive). Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable people. Arrived right on time and did a thorough job. When the test results came back they were sent to me promptly. I knew that I could call with questions if anything was not clear.- Carole J.

ACrawl Space Doctor - SavannahGreg's team did a great job. The crawl space is like night and day. He and his team did the job they said they would do, on time, neat and tidy and for what he quoted. His team will be coming back to follow up on a couple of difficult spots of mold and to monitor the drying out. Based on my experience I would recommend Greg an his team to any having moisture issues with their crawl space! Things are starting to dry out, so far so good. My floors are looking flat again. I called him for a crawl space evaluation to understand whether encapsulation was something we needed and/or wanted. His description of how the result is better than just circulating humid air under the house convinced me that it made sense. His crew started on the scheduled date and took about 4 days to complete the job. They were fastidious, leaving the work site clean each day. The quality of their workmanship is excellent. It's too early to observe any longer term results of the encapsulation, but the crawl space looks very clean and does not have any lingering musty odor. ACrawl Space Doctor - Savannah1. removed all trash (plenty) from under house 2. leveled ground surface 3. removed all insulation; tacked up all wires to roof of crawl space; treated all joists with effective chemical to destroy mold 4. replaced vapor barrier on ground 5. attached heavy duty wrap to all walls (to within 4 inches of roof of space) and about all posts 6. placed new dehumidifier in center of space; programmed to maintain proper humidity level 7. attached lighting to illuminate space. Every step of the process done by professional, competent and efficient workers with daily supervision by "crawl doctor" himself. Entire job done in one week. My crawl space is now as clean as interior of my home. I strongly recommend this process by this provider to anyone with crawl space. Price not only competitive but at least half that of others in area who offer this process (I interviewed Orkin and Low Country).- sanford b.

ACrawl Space Doctor - SavannahMy wife noticed a 'springy' place in our hallway where we had installed new hardwood flooring a year ago so we called a handy-man we knew to check it out. To our surprise, he reported finding a 5-7" pond. extensive mold and falling saturated insulation. Insurance was no help, citing ground water(we had an abnormally heavy rainy season), poor grading, and lack of proper gutters on the house, so we were on our own. First we had excellent gutters installed(see Savannah Seamless Gutters) Then we started getting estimates for mold remediation and insulation. By the way, none of the estimates required pump out of our 'pond' which dried up on it's own after the gutters came. The first estimate wanted me to pay to rent 220volt dryers for two weeks after knocking a hole in our floor to access 220v at our clothes dryer. Their price was high, too. Next came a company whose estimate and work did not include old insulation cleanup and haul off, nor did it include insulation installation Their subs insulation estimate did not include old insulation clean up and haul off, only new insulation. The old stuff required yet another estimate and sub. Well add it all up and you guessed it. Big bucks. Meanwhile, my wife was sharing our woes with a friend of ours who had an unrelated business relationship with a guy named Greg, whose business was Crawl Space Doctors, so I gave him a call. Greg came by, looked at our job and told me that he'd seen worse. He then proceeded to explain their method and showed me some jobs they had done. We hit it off right away. After hearing his explanation of their conditioned space method that called for NO Insulation, dehumidification and continuing follow-up maintenance, I hoped his turn-key job would come in on budget. Well it did. Greg and his crew worked fast, left an immaculate work space and caused us no inconvenience. He even did work above and beyond his fair and reasonable estimate at no extra charge. I would not hesitate to recommend Greg and Crawl Space Doctors to anyone.- BUD B.

ACrawl Space Doctor - SavannahGreg and his crew sealed our crawlspace in the fall of 2012 (about $4,000 cost) and returned for an annual checkup of the work. In addition, we recently had some structural work done on the house that required minor repairs to the sealing materials on the crawlspace walls and floor. The crew showed up on time and were efficient and courteous. Best of all, no mold! We highly recommend Crawl Space Doctor if you have a crawlspace mold problem.- Kenneth O.

ACrawl Space Doctor - SavannahMr. McBride was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to literally crawl through my crawlspace with me. My major problems were poor air quality (stimulating allergies) in the house and cold floors in the winter. Greg showed me why I was having those problems and proposed a cost-effective solution tailored to my situation. I scheduled the work in advance, and Greg's team showed up on time, while I was out of town, and completed the project on time before I returned. Greg and I then revisited the crawlspace and he showed me what they had done--remarkable. The air quality in our house is noticeably better and our utility bills are lower since we had the crawlspace fixed. I expect the floors will be much warmer next winter. ACarolina Mold SolutionsFrom start to finish, my experience with this company was superior. The main representative, Stephen, was very thorough with his analysis and recommendations as to how to bring my crawl space in to much better condition, while remaining within a budget. They even threw in a few courtesy services, that frankly many other companies would have tried to charge me an absurd amount for. I'm not saying cleaning a crawl space is ever cheap, but the fact that they were on time, courteous, thorough, responsive, patient with my many questions and requests, and my crawl space looks incredible now...I would highly recommend Carolina Aire & Mold Solutions. They use a non-toxic product to clean up the mold, which is fantastic for those of us who are chemically sensitive. I will likely hire them back for more work in the future.- Kristin B.

He did exactly what he said he would do and completed the job exactly when he said he would. If he had to come a little late, he called to tell us.
