    They have a scheduled maintenance plan. They do everything for my car. I  don't remember the cost off the top of my head. I have got 345,000 miles on that truck and they have done maintenance on all of that. Their price is very competitive. They treat me right. I buy cars from these people because of their service depart. When I buy an auto mobile, I always look at their service department to see what kind of service you get there. We are on a plan, they maintenance the plan. They make suggestions, I have options. They treat me very well.

    Went great!. Same day service. Called for price quote. First place called was Tuffy, they quoted $375 to replace starter in 2000 Nissan Altima. Second place was Brock's. They quoted $195 for the same job. $30 for a tow. Finished quickly and professionally.

    They are very good, nice and honest people. They tell you if they are unable to fix something and give reference to another place where the job can be done. They went a little beyond what they were supposed to do and cleaned up the vehicle. I went in without an appointment. Though they had other business to take care of, they attended to me and did the oil change which they did not have to do. And just took about 45 minutes for the work to be done.

    I used it for an hour but they charged me for the whole day. The customer service was very slow. I had rented a car previously from them and they made me go through procedures because I was paying by debit card. I got a little angry because they have the records from the previous rental. So, why should I have to go through the same stuff in such a short period of time and it was a rental for just an hour. It took me longer to rent it than it took for me to use it. The car was not clean. I ordered a sub compact but I got a mid sized car.

    I have a Ford Escape that is inverted. To do a basic tune-up you have dismantle the left side of the engine to get to the sparkplug. They gave me an excellent price, the work was done very quickly and the price was less than estimated. I drove the car immediately and it drove very well. And I'm getting about 4 miles a gallon better than I was.

    I would never recommend this business to anyone! I'm driving my vehicle back to savannah, hopefully will arrive safely, to the original purchase location, ( I have no spare, it's on the vehicle). I will have the bubbled tire rotated to the rear, so if it does blow, I won't be in as much danger, (another thing that Tuffy's didn't recommend, or do) and I will tell everyone who cares to listen, how dissatisfied I am with this company!

    Bottom Line: My experience with AmeriFreight was fair; my car was picked up and arrived at its destination within the estimated
    window.   Persistence was definitely required, but overall I was pleased.  Below I?ve broken down the experience to help any future customers.
    Customer Service: This was a mixed bag for me.  After reaching out to AmeriFreight for a quote, I received an email from Graham with an estimated price.  As directed in his email I called AmeriFreight to further discuss their quote.  I left a message with Graham but never heard back.  After waiting a few more days, I decided to call the AmeriFreight office directly (not Graham?s line), and after a few more messages, finally reached a sales representative (not Graham).  I ultimately decided to go with AmeriFreight based largely on their reviews both on and their Better Business Bureau rankings.  However, I spoke with a number of other carriers whose sales staff seemed much more customer oriented; quickly returning my calls, reaching out to me, answering questions, etc.  It was only after finally deciding to move forward with AmeriFreight that I heard back from Graham.  That said, once Graham contacted me I had a decent time getting a hold of him. Yes persistence is required as he doesn?t always call back immediately, but once you have him on the phone Graham is an honest broker.  He tells it as it is, and seemed to genuinely care about getting my car to its destination on time.  Perhaps the only other subpar experience with Graham (aside from trying to get in touch with him initially) was when I received my first offer from a carrier.  Graham called me and told me of a potential carrier but at a higher price.  It told him that I needed to talk with my wife about the price and would call him back within the next 10 minutes.  I called him back exactly 5 minutes later but he wasn?t there.  After multiple calls over the next two hours (I was persistent because Graham had previously mentioned the need to confirm as soon as possible), I was finally informed (again by calling the AmeriFreight main line) that he had stepped out a few hours prior.  Knowing that I was going to call back in 10 minutes, I was disappointed he didn?t bother to wait for my reply or direct me to call someone else with my response.  Not surprisingly, the carrier had moved on by the time that AmeriFreight finally contacted them.  Lastly, I was never contacted post delivery to ensure that everything went smoothly.
    Pick-Up / Delivery Time Estimates:  AmeriFreight was very up front about the process.  If you listen to the sales rep and read through all the fine print, there shouldn?t be any surprises.  They were clear that my car would likely not be picked up on the first day of availability but some time over the following 5-7 business days.  As advertised, I didn?t get any carrier interest until day 5 and the car was picked up on day 6.  Also, the car was delivered within the 2-3 day window quoted to me, arriving 2 days after pick up.
    Quoted Price:  The vehicle shipping industry seems to take the same approach across the board, so I can?t ding AmeriFreight too much for the price fluctuation.  That said, future customers should be aware that quoted prices are not solid.  The
    price quoted to me was $665, and I wasn?t surprised when I had to pay more to get carrier interest.  Personally I?d prefer a quote that?s more likely to move the car than wishful thinking, but again this seems to be industry standard.  My final price to move a car from South Carolina to Massachusetts came in at $1020.  Of note, AmeriFreight honored a $30 discount on my deposit as an active duty military member.  Also, AmeriFreight never charged my credit card until a carrier had been scheduled and when my first carrier fell out, they were quick to refund the deposit until a new carrier was eventually found.
    Overall:  I list this experience as fair (grade C).  In my opinion a grade of A means everything was glowing from start to finish: great customer service from the beginning to end, price quoted equals price paid, and delivery on time.  Ultimate price paid was $355 higher than quoted.  As well customer service was a bit lacking; requiring a lot of persistence on my part.  That said, my car arrived at its destination on time and in good condition.  AmeriFreight was very open about the process, and as such I will likely use AmeriFreight again for any future vehicle shipment.

    I rated my overall experience a C, as in average. I wasn't thrilled with the service, but don't feel I was ripped off either. Firstly, it took quite some time for me to get my car in because they close at 5:00 during the week and have no overnight key drop. And with no other accommodations, like a pick up/drop off service, it was really inconvenient to have my husband take off work early so we could drop the car off during business hours.
    It didn't take long to call back with an estimate for the services, and I thought it was a reasonable price. They went ahead with my approval and replaced the exhaust pipes from front to back, but did not replace the muffler because they said it looked relatively new, which it was.
    I picked up the car a few days later, and noticed that the loudness of the exhaust had not really changed, was only somewhat different sounding than before. I returned the car to be looked over again in case something wasn't sealed off quite right. It took a full day for them to call me with their diagnosis: nothing is wrong!
    The mechanic convinced my husband and I that the loudness was being caused by the muffler, which they did not replace. And also because we are from Ohio. The rust is causing the loudness.
    Unsatisfied, I took my car to another shop in town that specializes in exhaust work. In less than 20 minutes in and out, the mechanic put my car on the lift, showed me exactly where the and quot;rattlingand quot; was coming from, and took a wrench and fixed it for free. It was a simple fix, the new pipes were just rubbing on the metal heat shield causing the rattling sound, so I was disappointed the mechanic at Beaufort Auto Repair took an entire day and couldn't get that right. So I probably won't return.

    My experience was great, in large part because I was in and out in under 20 minutes and it was hot out! I took my car to Duke's because they specialize in exhaust work. I had recently had the exhaust replaced by another auto shop in town, but was unsatisfied with the work as there was still a loud rattling sound. Forgive me if I get his name wrong, but the mechanic at Duke's, Keeb?! He was comical and knowledgeable and efficient! He showed me where the new exhaust pipes were rubbing on the heat shield, took a wrench and "a few twists and turns" later, my car sounded normal again!
    Although I wasn't charged, and therefore cannot speak of their pricing, I'm willing to bet the quality would be worth every penny! Thanks again!
