Brandon does an amazing job for my restaurant. We had a ton of issues that needed to be address from previous landscapers and he came right in and did everything we asked of him in a timely manner. I am all about curb appeal and he has made my store look amazing. He even thinks about how the landscaping matches our interior design. Couldnt ask for a better guy and landscaper!

They delivered as promised. Very fast service and they did a great job. Protected my property and my neighbors property during the process. Cost for the job was very reasonable.. Will be using their services again.

They've been doing our lawn for years. As a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with them a few minutes ago to ask them to send a specialist out to review some things. I'm seeing some brown patches and some weeds, and I think I shouldn't see. They're coming for a routine maintenance next week, and I just wanted to make sure that there's not something that we need to be doing. I pay annually. I've got new sod. I just had this particular sod put in last year, and even after the weed control I'm still seeing some forms of weeds more than others. So they're gonna come out here in the next day or two and inspect, and we're gonna talk about how we need to adjust the treatment on this new sod. For price, I really don't know anything else to compare it to because I've used them for so long. It's probably the same as anybody else, I mean, I can't say that I like paying what I pay. You're paying more for less quality. Like right now, I'm having my deck re-done. This deck's been here for twenty-one years, and boards are beginning to noticeably rot after twenty-one years, and so they're pulling these boards up and these boards are cedar. You can't buy cedar boards like this anymore. You go to the treated lumber and hope you get ten years out of them.

They do okay. We had a really bad year last year. There was a drought. They do the best they can. There was just not enough water out there, but they do good work. I think it's a little expensive. Everyone wants to pay less. They girl that does it does a real good job. They show up when they are supposed to.

After first contact via phone, contractor did not show up at agreed upon time. No call explaining that he would be late, or any attempt to reschedule. Must be nice to run a business that doesn't need new income.

    Terrance Marks dba Lindsay Services
Early work went well. Crew was High School age learning the work and were eager to please.  We were well pleased with the work being performed at that time. Problems began when our neighbors approached Mr. Marks about work in their yards. He began to split his crew and his time among multiple projects.  This caused the work in our yard to be delayed time and again to over 4 weeks (about 2 weeks later than expected) and the quality of the word was greatly diminished.  He also would demand partial progress payments several times a week.  Several of the workers were fired capriciously in our opinion.  We terminated the work when Mr. Marks demanded an additional $1100+ for work not completed, but partially paid for.  He said he needed the money to pay his crew.  I agreed to pay him $650 so he could pay his crew with his promise to complete the work within the next week.  I did contact Mr. Marks at the end of the following week to inquire as to when he would complete the work he had been paid for.  He assured me he would "keep his word" and complete the work.  He has not returned to date.  Paid for work is incomplete and their trash and debris remain in our yard.

After coming to my house and discussing the project for my lawn, Dustin Brown had a complete understanding of what I wanted. I was looking forward to having him do the job. However, there were multiple times when he did not call me when he said he would. After almost seven weeks of on and off communication, we still had not set up a time frame to do the work. He was always too busy to call me when he said he would. He took offense when I mentioned to him that we seem to have a communication problem and he suggested that if I wasn't happy with him before the project is started, it would be best if I call someone else. He continuously told me he was extremely busy with other projects. I could understand that, but I expected the courtesy of a phone call when he said he would call. I asked him to just tell me if he didn't have time to work for me so I could call someone else. We continued to communicate about the project. Almost three weeks after I last spoke to him and he told me he would call me the following week to see where he could work the project into his schedule, he e-mailed me and asked that I refresh his memory about what I wanted done so he can check his schedule. In our final phone conversation, Dustin understood that I was not happy about our communication problems and got defensive again like he had several weeks earlier. Perhaps there are just not enough hours in the day for him to do what had to be done. He told me: 1. He is very busy with million dollar projects and his schedule runs 6-12 months out. 2. It idoesn't matter if I give a bad review about his company to Angie's List. Angie's List is not important to him. 3. He will never set foot on my property again. 4.. He anticipates that no one will do the project as good as he could. Until now, I have never had an experience like this. The lack of communication was on his part, not mine. I would not have been at all upset if he had told me to begin with that my project wasn't big enough for his company and/or that he was booked all year with larger projects. He says they do good work. I will never know, but I have no doubt that I can find someone to complete my project and do as good or better job than Palmetto Upstate Group.

Scotts Lawn Service came out when I wasn't there and looked at the yard and left an estimate on my door, in a sleeve. But I wanted to talk to him directly, so I called up and left messages, but they never returned my calls. So I wasn't happy with it. He called me a long time later. Apparently, they were too busy to bother returning my calls. I wanted him to explain to me in person exactly what they were going to do. I just would rather talk to someone personally.
