    I was floored when I was told my TV was done and then floored more when they told me the cost. I was so relieved to have it repaired so quickly and so inexpensively. Plus they are so friendly!

    When we moved to Aiken with my husband?s work, we temporarily downsized to
    an apartment while waiting to sell our home.  Whiskey Road Storage gave us a
    secure, clean place to store our household goods during the nearly two year
    transition to a new home.  Their security cameras and touchpad entry gate
    coupled with our ability to padlock our individual unit provided the peace of
    mind that our belongings were always safe.  Payment was a snap, since they
    automatically charged my credit card each month. The proximity to shopping on
    the south side of town also made it quite easy to drop in and access our unit
    whenever needed.  When I went by during the holidays to pick up some of our
    Christmas decorations, I locked our unit but accidentally left my key in the
    padlock.  The staff was so conscientious that they noticed my key in the lock
    during their rounds, removed it and called me right away.  The staff was so
    friendly and easy to work with they made the experience a pleasure.

    Poorly. 1. Initially, the receptionist mumbled the name of the company called. This was the beginning of my having an uncomfortable sense of the company. The responses of the receptionist continued to indicate a lack of professionalism 2. Consequently, I'm not surprised that after 3 business days, I still have not received a reply from the TV service person in order to provide details of the TV problem and to set up an appointment.

    The staff was wonderful! Even though there were several other people in the waiting area they realized the seriousness of my symptoms and got me right back to an exam room. They wasted no time getting my labs taken and having a doctor examine me. He was pretty sure it was appendicitis, but sent me for a CT Scan for verification. It all seemed to happen pretty quickly. As soon as the doctor's diagnosis was confirmed, they got me hooked up to an IV, started me on antibiotics and admitted me to the hospital to have surgery. The surgery went well. I was in the hospital for four days. All the staff were kind and attentive. I can't be happier with the care I received at Aiken Regional!

    Forest Hills Sharpening Service
    Never thought I would ever find a place again that sharpened knives in house but I found one in Augusta inside a barber shop.  Be warned that it is on Wrightsboro Rd but I couldn't find the 3338 address.  The building is actually at the corner of Springview and Wrightsboro.  Just follow the directions he gave me: "right across from where they are building the new Walmart.  Just look for our blue and red striped pole."  The number on the shop/house is actually 1428.
    I didn't know when I called that it is one of the barbers that provides the service.  I was expecting to just drop them off.  Well since he wasn't that busy  he just told me to come back in a couple of hours and they would be done.  And they were when I came back.  Haven't tried them yet but he did seem to do a good job.
    Only other thing, he is not set up to take credit cards (the visa sign on the door I think is for the barber shop) so I ended up having to drive down the street to grab some cash.  He does take checks.
    Great service for $34.  I'll be back once I need my stuff sharpened again

    Had a weird problem with our TV in that after it had been on for a few hours, it would briefly turn itself off then back on. Became a real annoyance as it could happen 3 or 4 times in 5 minutes. I took it in and they charged me the $25 service fee to look at it. He had it for a week but couldn't replicate the issue (He thought it turned off and wouldn't come back on). After I checked in and was able to describe to him what the issue was, they were able to see it happen the next day. But then the issue came on how to figure out what was going on. Normally they take the back off to diagnose the TV but the issue wouldn't repeat itself then. That's when we confirmed that one of the 6-7 control boards was overheating. So he ended up taking a hairdryer and narrowed it down to the exact component on the exact mother board. After that, it was simple to replace the board and we haven't seen the issue since.
    I could have spent $500 and gotten a brand new TV but this one was only 4 years old. I was glad he was able to fix it because I just don't have the mentality of throwing things away if something goes wrong. Some of the other companies I used in the past probably would have told me the first week that 1) nothing is wrong with it or 2) they can't figure it out. He spent the extra time to get to the root of the problem.

    If I dial a number through Verizon Wireless, the call doesn't go through. Sometimes the phone rings twice and there's nobody there. We called in several times to fix the problem but they told us that we're too far away from the open window. Initial setup was expensive.

    They were very prompt, they were professional, the lady in the office called us to set up the appointment and then she called to tell us they were coming and gave us her information in case we had questions and she responded to several e-mails when I was asking about the different things I needed to do and she also helped with the paperwork, I was able to get a refund on my taxes and also a rebate on my electric bill from installing and everything, and she helped in all that, her customer service skills were excellent, and the technician, Keff, was superb too.

    In 1 year, we have only had 2 service interruptions.  One of those happened when most of SC and GA lost internet and cable.  Only major complaint was when I was first installed, I scheduled an appointment 10 days in advance and said I needed an after 4:30 appointment (which was why I had to wait so long).  It was scheduled instead for a 12-3:30 window and I was not told.  I left work early to find out the installation man had arrived and was long since gone.  Calling customer service and they couldn't schedule me for another week.  The twist in this whole thing is that an installation guy lived 3 doors down and heard the conversation.  He got on the phone with them saying he could do the installation, he had all the equipment and was right there to do it.  The customer service rep said he could not do the job!  He ended up calling his manager to get approval to complete the 10 minute install and actually kept me as a customer for the past year.
    My friend who lives in our new neighborhood has some contacts at ABB and believes we can find a better deal.  But at this point, I will most likely be switching to satellite TV with internet service TBD.  FYI, ABB $58 for 20 MPS service is way too high.

    The services were dismal. I actually assisted the doctor in a procedure. I would tell friends and family to avoid Aiken Regional Medical Center and drive to Augusta, Georgia for the hospital. I have lived in Aiken for 12 years so it's not like I am a newbie in town here. They know how to collect their money. They're good at that. They super-glued my wife's forehead. I think I could have done that at home.
