  We had SouthPoint out for an evaluation of the roof after a home inspector had found a "small leak" in the roof. Seems SouthPoint misjudged by just "a hair." After a general contractor pointed out what they had missed it was obvious the gentleman from SouthPoint knew little about roofing. This was verified when they started to repair the "small leak." There was no flashing, just decorative trim that had been placed by Carolina Signature Homes, when the house was built in 2007. The headers were rotted out and one has to be totally replaced. This was a major design flaw. The man from SouthPoint was given free reign to evaluate the roof, both from the inside and the outside of the home. We weren't interested in just fixing the leak. We were about to close on the house and wanted the best roof we could get. They even said the gutters need cleaning. We had to have them come back again to even do that correctly. The owner would not stand behind his bid. He said the added damage was "outside the scope of the bid." It would never have been "outside the scope" of their work if the estimator knew what he was doing. As someone new to the community I was hesitant to post such a negative review but this is negligence and if I can spare one person from hiring this company then it is worth it.

  Kelly called to make an appointment on Sunday on a holiday weekend, with service the next day.  He arrived on time, was very thorough on the walk through and description of work needed.  He completed the cleaning and removed all debris.

  Really fast (~2hrs) and really powerful cleaning.  I would definitely recommend this over pressure washing.  Company is easy to contact and will promptly call you back as well as calling before arriving.  One drawback to keep in mind is that you will want to soak with water and cover plants near the start for protection (not so much once underway).  Also, if you are fond of any mosses and ferns near your house or gutters, be sure to remove them temporarily.  Also, towels on window sills may be helpful since the volume of water is greater than with pressure washing.

  Professional Pressure Washing

  Robert is very courteous and competent.  He took me outside and showed me areas that might be problem issues, because he didn't want to wash those areas without my consent.  He explained why they might not tolerate the pressure, and how we might do a "work around".  He was very professional, and I immediately liked him.  I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

  He is very good and did a good job. He is very prompt and does what he says he'll do. He is reasonable and careful. He is a very good man and he is machinery too; that's how well he goes down to give good services. There are so many people who come and when we pay them they never come back; he never does anything like that. He's excellent; the pricing is very reasonable and he doesn't really overcharge. He really knows what he's doing and he can do so many things like roof, paint etc. He's readily available when there's work to be done and he's very professional.

  He arrived a few minutes early, introduced himself and read my list of things to do. He took the list and got started, doing the indoor things first. He then went outside and began the work there. When a problem developed in rehanging a fallen gutter, he reported it to me. We agreed he would buy the materials needed to properly complete tne and then he would complete the repair. When he had finished all the work, except for the painting, he reported to me. I signed his work order and he left. I called in the credit card information to the office to pay the bill. He came back a week later to do the painting, and billed me for one hour. When he finished we followed the same procedure to pay.
