AChuck's Painting & Home MaintenanceOnce underway, the fence repair and gate install went quickly over the course of two days (post concrete required to set over-night). Chuck, Phillip and Nick are polite & professional with high ethical standards. The fencing and gate are rock-solid. Vertical posts are level and horizontal aspects of the fencing are congruent with my terrain and existing fence line. There was a delay of a couple days due to weather. Chuck called to apologize for the weather delay and his two crew members arrived on the next available business day. There was an adjustment to Chuck's original estimate as I requested a different location along the fence line for the gate install, (that no longer took advantage of the broken fencing), and there was further damage to the fence that was not immediately apparent. The adjustment was fair, from $550 to $750. Overall, it was a great experience and we're very satisfied. I will call on Chuck's services when needed.- Carlton B.

DPete Alewine Pool Company IncDidn’t want my business. Argumentative and arrogant company. Look at the reply to this review on google. “Quality with an attitude” would be a fair description, but for the money that the products cost there’s no call for the attitude, arrogance, or condescension. No one wearing masks in the store during COVID. Empty hand sanitizer stations. I could go on. My wife and I were ready to build and have colleagues with quality pools from Pete. The experience in the showroom was dismissive and I did not feel welcome. Perhaps business is so good they didn’t want our money (we have been saving and expecting to pay cash for a $100,000 project with hot tub spillover into pool with infinity wall). I was told the earliest someone could meet with us at our home for a consultation was March 2021, meaning no construction until April or later. I repeated back and verified with the sales agent multiple times. I realize demand is higher from COVID and quality takes time but if no one cares to meet with me for six months you lost my business. Hefner is meeting with us next week, by the way and I felt more respected as a customer. They’re too busy to care about new customers. No way you would get proper attention or assistance if they can’t handle a consultation. If this is the way they treat you when they are trying to earn your trust and money, imagine how you’ll be treated once they have it. I know fellow physicians with decent pools from Pete but they get 0 stars for customer service and the attitude that they deserve your business and gratitude. Too busy for new customers. Arrogance with no apology in response. Thank for saving me from a bad investment decision. Look elsewhere if you want respect and professionalism. Their past quality has gone to their heads.- Matt R.

AI have approximately 30 years experience working within the construction maintenance industry and have lived in my single dwelling home for 35 years. Due to health issues I am slowly accepting the reality that I no longer can handle many general maintenance issues in maintaining my home, as I could 10 years ago. Hence I am relying more and more on contracted services through Angie's list. Recently I hired a contractor called wab renovations for two separate projects, foundation work and HVAC ductwork. The owner, Mr William Brantley Brantley, out of Newberry South Carolina provided excellent service, great quality of work and demonstrated above average knowledge and expertise within his field of construction. I found his pricing to be competitive and reasonable in his scheduled services reliable. I found that Mr brantley's team to be professional, thorough and pleasant. most importantly, he was able to communicate well and listen and understand my concerns effectively. AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.
