Rob was punctual and professional. He was really nice to talk with, and he explained everything. What we wanted involved moving a window and cutting out walls. The price was a bit more than we were planning on, but I have no doubt that it would be worth it.

    2nd Generation Remodeling
Mike Manni (2nd Generation) did a very professional job remodeling our bathroom and we love it. Our old bathroom was gutted down to the studs and then rebuilt to the way we wanted it with tiled floor, new vanity, new painted walls, large walk-in shower and additional lighting. From start to finish Mike was professional: always on-time, handled any unforeseen problems that popped up, always made sure that the work area was cleaned up each day (important to us because we have small children). He was easy to talk to, takes pride in his work, and was able to accommodate any changes that we decided to make midstream to the plan. He also had a lot of good ideas on what should be done in the bathroom to make it fit our vision.  And, he finished on time and on budget! We will definitely hire 2nd Generation again.

Derek walked the job down with me and asked questions about my needs for the job.  He also informed me of alternatives to my original request in order to help me get the most for my money.  Derek communicated an issue with me while he was working on the job that could have cost me a great deal of money.  Instead, his quick thinking and mitigation of the issue allowed me to get the issue resolved with minimal issue.  The property is quite old and took a lot of patience and expertise on his part.  The results of his work were above what I was expecting as I have had several different contractors come in and perform work at this address.  I would recommend him to others and plan to use him if I should need to in the future.

    LOPCO Contracting
We were impressed from the get-go.  Mike showed up to do an evaluation and estimate, exactly when he said he would.  He listened to what we thought we needed, and made a few suggestions along the way.  The estimate (received about a week later) was a little higher than expected, but did include all the carpentry work, power washing, and painting.  We were impressed by the contract detail, especially all the prep work they included--crucial to a good paint job.  There were more areas of shingles they suggested replacing, but they explained why it was a good idea, and we never felt like they were padding the bill.  As for the work crews, they were all way beyond our expectations--punctual, polite, clean, and professional.  We've never had a carpenter or painter (other than the boss) shake our hand and introduce himself--nice touch!  My wife told me repeatedly that these guys were quiet, didn't smoke, and didn't use inappropriate language at all.  When the work was finished, there were a few minor issues typical of this type of work, and I found Tom to be personally responsive every time I called--he was amazing.  Clean up was exceptional--no stray nails or anything that shouldn't have been left behind.

Very wellSean Joubert, HAABCO owner and the primary person on the job, provided the estimate. We got this estimate, which was much lower than what our interior designer had obtained from her contractor. Also, Sean had several ideas that were a much better fit for us than the other contractor's ideas. Except for the demolition and plastering, Sean performed all the work himself. He set expectations in the beginning and then every day that he was here. He cleaned up every day.He is an excellent craftsman and a pleasure to work with.

Mike came out to look at the different projects we had planned to do the same day we contacted him. He made us feel very comfortable with his knowledge and the specific questions he asked us. We were e-mailed our estimate from Mike the next morning and gave him the go ahead right away. Mike was able to start the project within a week, which was a nice surprise. The work was done very quickly in my opinion. The flooring was complete in 2 days and looks real nice. We love the new andersen door to our deck.  Overall the project only took 3 days. Mike and his 2 workers were very friendly and polite. They took all the trash away, swept up and vacuumed when they were done for the day. We did not have any complaints and felt comfortable with them in our home.  I have plans to have them do some work in one of our bathrooms real soon.

    HAABCO Construction Inc
Sean Joubert, the principle/owner, of the company performed most of the above work himself, although he did have help for demo and part of the installations. From the first day, he was on time, did the work steadily and completely, cleaned up every day, and completed the work on time. Our new built in cabinet and the doors match the factory installed cabinets that had been in the house for 20+ years. He added little touches with woodwork accents. He always had ideas about how to do something better and the quality of the work is excellent. And he's a great, professional, low key guy that anyone can get along with and will be very happy with his work.

    Bernard Construction
James Bernard removed two rows of flooring over the area where the two "halves" of our pre-fab/modular house was connected. The subfloor was uneven and had to be repaired. Also, there was too large of a gap for two standard width (2.25") pieces to cover. James used one row of 2.25" pieces and one 3.5" piece (provided by me) that he cut down to fit. The result was great - you can't tell that there was ever a problem.
