    J & S Auto Repair
STOP! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR AUTO REPAIRS. I have been with J&S auto since 2015 when they were located on Kent ave in Warwick. The owner, Joe would provide transportation back to my residence if I could not secure a ride. Price was always good and Quality was great. Then they moved to Roseland avenue and things changes drastically, not for the better. PRICES WENT UP AND QUALITY WENT DOWN!. On my last visit to them I dealt with the manager Bobby Judge. I have a 2004 Honda Accord I use for work as I am a visiting nurse and travel quite a bit. My car needed an inspection sticker so I left it and requested they call me with an estimate. The manager called and quoted me over $2,000 to get it up to speed. After reviewing the details I agreed to $1353.11. I picked up the car the next day. After driving around I noticed there was a problem with the front right tire causing a problem when steering. I brought it back and the manager said it needed a new Lower Ball Joint. He said it was safe to drive but I explained I was having problems steering!I requested an estimate and called back after 3 days of calling and asking to speak to the manager. Finally received an estimate(via Text) of $566.90. I thought that was a little high so I called 3 other places and got estimates ranging from $250-$400.00 dollars. After looking at the estimate I realized THE COST OF THE PART THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN $60-$80 DOLLARS WAS PRICED AT $160.00 DOLLARS!!! I had it repaired and it runs great, total price was $273.83. You are not able to reach the owner and if you call most times the manager will not contact you, he will have you speak to the tech or the receptionist. It is sad that a business that was so great has been sabotaged by an inept manager who is trying to prove his worth by unscrupulous inflated charges. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR AUTO SERVICE REPAIRS!!

    Performance Nissan
I drive a Maxima. It was cheap, it was really cheap. They were so nice and it was really clean. I don't know what they charged me. They didn't charge me that much. They told me it was going to be two days, but it was seven. They waxed the car for free. I called there to make an appointment to get my oil change. They said to bring it in. I thought it was going to be a long wait, but it's a short wait. They have a nice sitting area, TV, and coffee. I looked to see which one was closest to me, Ft. Lauderdale was a really close to me, but small it was a really small place. Then, I passed Performance wasn't far from me. The people down the road bought two cars them. They were just raving how great they were. This was after I had gone. I thought it was just me. They were so nice. The guy said they were so honest there. I was really excited when they told me that. I knew I would go back.

    Balise Toyota Scion of Warwick
I feel like the are really quick. They seem to be quicker than they lead me to expect so. They are always very pleasant. I think their rates are reasonable. The last time I kinda wish they had vacuumed my car. They were quick but they could have taken another 10 minutes and vacuumed out my car. I think their pricing is fair. I don't believe they are pushing or trying to sell to me so I like that. They are very friendly when I get there and gets the car done quickly.

    Elite Auto Repair
They did a great job replacing my windshield, but I wanted to leave a general review of the amazing Elite Auto Repair! I rarely recommend service providers to others, but I recommend Elite without hesitation to everyone. From the moment they answer your call to the moment you drive out of the parking lot with your well-maintained/repaired car, you are treated like the most important person on the planet. Their courtesy, attention to detail, customer service and quality of their work is unmatched. This is rare in any business, and a treasure to find! My dad was an auto mechanic for 30 years so I never had to worry about finding a trustworthy repair shop. When he retired, I used dealer services for a while, but then discovered Elite about eight years ago. I will never go anywhere else again! I especially appreciate that as a woman, they never talk to me as if I don't know anything about cars. I generally deal with Ruth and Bobby, and they are awesome!

    J & S Auto Repair
I have had a lot of work done by J&S, everything from a simple oil change , tune up, serpentine belt and pulley replacement , exhaust manifold Etc. Joe and Carl are a treat to work with and never try to up sale what needs to be done . The prices are the best around and the quality of work is exceptional. These are my go to guys for all my automotive repairs . I think they know the ins and outs of my F-150 better than I do . My father uses them as well.

They adjusted it and I haven't had any problems with it. I have service only done by them. They're a very good garage. They're very, very good. My car has never broken down because they keep it up so well. They're very good about their quality of work too. If they do something wrong, they won't charge you double, to fix it again. They're very good about that. They're very good about taking care of their customers. I love them. They take care of me. I can bring my car in there at 10 o'clock at night and they have a little service outside where you can put down what's wrong with your car and you put it in an envelope and you stick it on the wall. The next morning, they look at it and they call you and say, "This is what's wrong. This is what it's going to cost. Would you like us to do the work?" and I say, "Yeah." They're very, very friendly. They talk with you all the time and ask you if there's anything bothering you about the ride, the sound of the engine, that type of thing. They're always looking for something upfront. They tell you it's going to be by the end of the day and it'll be ready by the end of the day.

    Executive Auto Shippers LLC
The shipping started out bumpy and got worse from there. The driver that was to pick my car up in Rhode Island was a couple days late and then it took about 10 calls to get that coordinated. My car was in sound working condition, it is a Honda civic, standard (stick shift) car. The car was picked up in Rhode Island and dropped off in Long Beach were it was lost for 2 weeks. Upon finding the car after two weeks it was discovered that the car had a very bad burning smell and the clutch was broken. The car was rendered un-drivable.  I had to arrange for the car to be towed to Long Beach Dealer to be diagnosed and fixed. The Honda Dealer indicated that the clutch has been severely damaged and broken by someone who did not know how to drive a clutch. The car was revved to high and then slammed into a lower gear breaking the clutch's pressure plate and damaging the fly wheel. Incidentally, I had just replaced the clutch in December of 2014 after driving the car 108,000 miles. The clutch was practically brand new when EAS picked the car up in Rhode Island on July 3, 2015.

I had to pay for the car to be towed back to the port and about $1,950to have the clutch completely replaced. EAS has not taken any responsibility for the damage to my car. They keep blaming their subcontractor, Matson, the company they use to ship my car to HI. I hold EAS responsible to ensure that my car is delivered to its final destination undamaged! I have no relationship with the subcontractors that they use to fulfill their obligation to me. I have given EAS ample time to take responsibility for the damage to my car. They refuse to do so. I just received a communication from them yesterday basically saying I am out of luck and that it's the carrier's problem. Not so! EAS is at fault for not delivering my car to me in HI as agreed undamaged.

I have tried to reason with them, there have been numerous emails and texts, I have supplied them with all of the receipts - they are intimately aware of the situation and refuse to take responsibility and reimburse me for paying for a clutch that I didn't break.

To add to the madness, I had to rent a car because my car was late getting to the Island. The total amount I feel EAS needs to pay me back is the tow charges, approx. $450, clutch replacement approx. $1950 and the rental car which is about $750 for the week.

    Please help!

    Elite Auto Repair
I was smelling a burning smell coming from my engine, so I called Elite (we've been customers for about 6 years). They said their schedule was packed that day and the next, but they would fit me in where they could. They under-promised and over-delivered! They were able to take care of my car that same morning - it was finished within a couple of hours of me dropping it off! Turns out when I added oil to my car a couple of days before, I forgot to put the oil cap back on and the oil splashed all over the engine and the cap melted onto the engine (oops!). In addition to the great customer service and outstanding work, they are also great at explaining what the problem is with your car, but not making you feel dumb. As a woman, I appreciate that. They could've made me feel really silly for my mistake, but they didn't - they approached it like any other car problem. I have so many great stories about Elite - they are just fantastic. I've told them in person, but I want potential customers to know Elite provides excellent service at a great price!

Planned work was done on the first day.  D&M responded quickly on the added work, but parts were not available until the next day.
D&M completed the work on day 2.  D&M was very responsive and professional throughout this entire repair cycle.  The price seemed high at first, but after seeing the completeness of the inspection and scope of all work, it is more than reasonable, and less costly than where I used to get my car maintenance done.  Thanks, D&M, I'll be back!

    Don's Garage
Don's will never tell you that you need something that you don't need, and they will always give you a reasonable price. My family has been taking our cars there for years. Their work is reliable and consistent.
