  • I think their name is what caught my eye in the first place. Being from out of town, I really didn't know of any trusty mechanics in my neighborhood. I also didn't want to drive clear across town to a dealer. They charge too much anyway. I saw the name 'Honest' on their sign and I thought I'd give them a try. I have brought my vehicle in several times in the past year and had never been charged for anything other than for the reason I brought the car in to their shop. Nor was I ever told that something else is wrong with the car even though it's an older car. He's fixed numerous things on the old car and didn't make me feel like I'd been overcharged. One day my daughter was pushed off the road down the street from this shop. She tried to avoid someone who almost hit her, and the jerk kept going. She ate the curb and there was damage to the front passenger side. Since she was close and I had work done before, I called and asked if I could have the car towed to them. Since the car is older, I thought for sure it would be totaled. But Douglas told me that the damage wasn't that bad and he could fix it, even though his shop is not a collision shop. His price came in lower than my insurance adjuster quoted me, so I ended up not paying any of my $500 deductible toward repairs and he was able to fix it properly. He also recommended that I have it aligned at another shop that can do that. Another time I needed new headlights installed. The price he quoted me was very fair. I think if I had taken it to a dealer or even another shop, it would have cost me a lot more than what he charged. I feel I had gotten a great value for my money, honest work for an honest price. I would highly recommend this shop for service for anyone!

  • They have a full staff, I just think that all Toyota dealers have a full staff. They are very professional, and I just don't have an issue with them. I don't feel like they are trying to see you anything either. When you lease a car, and decide to buy it, you are going to pay full sticker. I haven't outright bought the car yet. With the lease, you don't get a deal if you outright the car. Sure I would have gotten a good deal, if I bought the car.

  • My car had some electrical problems, the car computer did not read some signals correctly.
    Dean, the owner spent a lot of time analyze the problem, explained to me patiently.
    He gave me several options, and was able to solve the issue correctly.
    Very trustworthy place to go, especially if you have an European car.

  • The owner was very responsive to my problem and got me in for service on the day that we called.  He worked on the care while I waited and was done in a little over an hour.  A few weeks later my front brakes started squealing and I called City Brake.  Again they took my car in on the day we called and took care of the problem.  Their response to my car problems was quick and professional and I would definitely use them again.

  • It went excellent, they were fast and efficient, they performed a multi point inspection for free.  There prices are reasonable, but my car has a warranty so there was no charge for my service

  • They were courteous, professional, and polite. I dropped off the car in the morning before work and asked that it be done by lunch time. They had it complete and ready for pick up about an hour after I dropped it off. This let me find a good point in my morning to get a ride over and pick up the car. The work was done well and they washed the car too. I feel safe driving my car after bringing it to the Honda service department at Herb Chambers Honda.

  • All work appears to be done quite well (they are aaa approved - so all work is guaranteed for a year). Believe everyone thinks car repair work is expensive - but the actual cost of work done on my car was below their estimate - certainly a positive.
    I've made an appointment each time to bring my car in, and each time they have it ready by the end of the day. Certainly would return when needed and would highly recommend.
