    Domenici Construction
Excellent work. The apartment looks amazing. And I had them put up a cedar fence. Ive hired them for other projects when I owned my own home. Great people, these are my go to guys for any project I may need.

    Calyx Homes Ltd
The entire project went very well. The plan was laid out for us in detail before we signed the contract. Once we had picked out our cabinets, countertop, flooring, etc., work began within a few weeks as promised. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and did high quality work. Lauren, our project manager, followed up on a regular basis. Any questions or concerns were imediately addressed. It was completed within the expected time frame and the finished kithchen actually exceeded our expectations.

    RWL General Contractors
On March 26 at 2:30AM a car crashed into our house and foundation causing extensive damage. My wife and I were not allowed to go back into the house until it was cleared by the building inspector and the Fire Chief. A family friend recommended RWL Construction Company for all the repairs. During the construction over 30 different workers were involved in this extensive project. All of these workers were professionals and excellent at their jobs. But even more important, and what really impressed my wife and I was that they were all excellent people who were honest, trustworthy, conscientious, and dedicated to the job. Throughout the project they displayed empathy and sympathy and a caring and a concern or what we were going through which is not normally associated with construction companies. They did their work and cleaned up every day which allowed us to stay in our house rather than go to a hotel for weeks maybe even months. Kevin LeBlanc and RWL Construction will do an excellent job on your home improvement project and you will be dealing with outstanding and honest people as well who take great pride in their work. Kevin is a very easy person to work with and he has a great eye and pays attention to all of the details in a huge project like this was .I "highly" recommend RWL for all of your construction projects.

    Domenici Construction
We've used Domenici Construction for several jobs. From a kitchen remodel to crown moulding, and everything in between, Domenici Construction is the right company for the job. Professional, reliable, and just a great company to do business with. In fact, we're about to call again for a custom build for our home office! You can't go wrong with Domenici Construction.

Rui was very prompt in replying to my request for a quote to have our house painted.  He stopped by the next day, and I was very pleased with the price he quoted for the job. The price he quoted was for pressure washing the entire house followed by two coats of stain on the siding, and two coats of paint for the trim and brick foundation.  It had been several years since the house was last painted so the wood siding was quite dry. The siding was just soaking up the stain. For a couple hundred dollars, Rui added a third coat to the entire house.  He also replaced a piece of trim that was deteriorated.  Rui was very punctual, arriving around 8:00 AM each morning, not so early as to disturb your sleep.  We were very pleased with the quality of his work and his professional manner.   I would highly   recommend American Eagle Painting to anyone looking for quality work at a very reasonable price.

It went very well. The support is now what needed to be in place, but had not been done by the contractor who sold us the house years ago. Our home is an 18th-century colonial, and the workers went out of their way to make the floorboards look as much as possible like the old wood, even going out to get the old style of nails that matched what we have in the other boards. The enclosure built in front of the fireplace matches the detail in the wood in other parts of the room. Very professional work and attention to detail.

    Bedford Builders Remodeling
Bob from Bedford Builders could not have been any more professional.  We had been looking to have a large number of old windows replaced in our home, and wanted someone who we felt would work on our home like it was their own.  Bedford Builders was that company.  From the very first meeting, Bob never beat around the bush.  He explained everything with great detail, including what our options were with cost and materials.  Too many contractors look to cut corners and cheat the system, but we wanted someone who would do things right and by the book.  As relatively new home owners, he took the time to make us feel like we were his number one priority.  He always returned phone calls and arrived on time whenever we were scheduled to meet.  Everything from the ordering of and delivery of materials ran smoothly and as scheduled.  He took the time to make sure our house and belongings were well taken care of before performing any work, and always cleaned up at the end of his work day.  We have quite a few decent sized projects coming up in the future, including renovating our kitchen and a bathroom, and Bedford Builders is first on our list.  We will definitely be hiring them again in the future.

    Calyx Homes Ltd
Well. the finished product has become an $18,000 albatross that will require someone to come in a repair the damage Bob's Calyx Homes has created.  The craftsman who rebuilt the portico and columns did so with a great deal of care and precision and the final product appeared to look even better than the original and provided an even more stately appearance to the front of the home because the original portico was not sized properly to fit the size of the overall appearance of the home.  In less than one year the work of the other sub-contractors appeared quite prominently.
    1.  The water leakage from the sides of the new portico worsened and now constantly sprays water into the windows of the front of my home.
    2. The pvc material began to separate and caulk seals have separated leaving unsightly gaps in the portico.
    3. The drains in the roof of the portico now leak onto the front porch causing the appearance of a rain fall on my porch when it rains and down the sides of the front of my home.
    4. The ceiling light and front door bell has shorted out because of the constant leakage from the gaps in the portico
    5.  The front steps have been damaged from the leaks from the front of the portico because Bob did not account for the right pitch in the roof of the portico to drain through the drains properly nor did he create drains large enough to handle the flow of water from the gutters.
    6.  Flashing that is suppose to seal the water from the home and away tot he drains leaks water down the front of my home which assisted in the shorts in the door bell.
    7. The drains do not appear to have been sealed to prevent excess water from the roof of the portico to the leak into the inside of the portico causing damage.
I have made a number of very amicable attempts to get these problems resolved with Bob and his firm for more than two years.  I have attempted to ask the contractor's board of Rhode Island to intervene yet they refuse because the contract is more than one year old.  I simply want to warn others that Bob is capable of very simple projects but because his use of sub-contractors there is no guarantee that you will get what is promised.
Additionally, do not sign Bob's contract which is based on contractor's laws and regulations that protect the contractor not the consumer of these services.  You must insist on specific workmanship, representations and warranties that protect you from his lack of proper supervision of his sub-contractors and the subsequent lack of responsiveness when problems occur.  $18,000 is a
hard lesson but you should learn from my mistake and not trust the contractor's word alone.  Ask others in the field what kind of reputation the contractor has.  Just a word of warning!
I not only confirm that my evaluation is correct I have emails, photographs and documented evidence of the damage Bob/Calyx Homes has caused.

    New England Home Renovations LLC
In summary I have to say Richard was  excellent!  He came when he said he would and finished the work when he said it would be finished.  As I solicited multiple bids for the work NE Renovations was among the most competitive.  As the work was completed I was so pleased I ended requesting he come back to do additional jobs.  He was very accomadating and even explained various options on how best to accomplish the additional work.

The process started with a walk around to see the work that needed to be done.  I was given a quote for the work.
The work was completeed over two days and the work was very professional and I was charged less than the original estimate.
I was also given suggestions of additional work that could be completed next year but I did not feel pressure to agree to getting the work done.
If I were to get the work done I would have The New England House Doctoe do the work.
