Countertop Installation reviews in Exeter

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • The build went well, Rob ordered and installed the cabinets to match our kitchen and unfinished countertop and then my husband and I finished the counters, painted and installed the backsplash and the open shelving. He and his brother are extremely professional and do excellent work! If you have any questions or think something doesn't look right, they are happy to adjust and fix it! They are definitely perfectionists!

  • Wonderful company, great experience and professionalism.  They took the time and effort to be personal and helped us all along the way.  Bill and Charlene go above and beyond.  The granite was fabricated with excellence and we will be using them for all our vanity countertops as well in the near future!

  • It went very well. The quality of work was impressive. The crown molding over the cabinets is perfect. The floor, Brazilian Cherry 5 " boards, is perfectly matched to the existing floors at all entry ways . Workers were on time each day and completed work by dates promised. They cleaned all demo material from the premises. The entire project took 6 weeks but it was a complete demolition of the existing kitchen. The new ceiling and granite countertop added time to the project. I had a couple of things that were not as I expected but that was due to my lack of communication on details. Trust Construction immediately made the changes to meet my expectations. I learned that every detail should be discussed thoroughly and never assume the contractor knows what you are thinking. I would use Trust Construction again for additional projects.

  • BEWARE!!!  Please read this review if you?re considering NE Renovations, it could save you a lot of aggravation and money.  I contacted Richard for a big project, which consisted of building a new deck, and renovating our kitchen and bathroom.  We gave him half up front.  The first warning sign I had was he didn?t start the project until 6 weeks after he cashed the check when the contract stated he would start within 15 business days.  After several emails, and attempted calls, he arrived with a crew to start.  In the beginning, things went well.  The old deck was demoed the first day, and work began on the new deck.  The subcontractor he brought in did good work.  The deck was completed in about a week, and Richard called for the second payment, which was another quarter.  I paid and work continued.  After another week the entire kitchen, batch, and dining room were demoed.
Then I got the dreaded call from the sub saying he was pulling his crew because Richard wasn?t paying him, and he wasn?t buying materials for my house.  The sub left, and I was left with a demoed kitchen, demoed bathroom, demoed dining room, no running water, and no house for my family to live in, and we have two small children under 8.  I was shocked.  Never had I imagined this would be the outcome of my renovation project.  I tried calling Richard to get an explanation and to find out what he was going to do to fix the situation but he wouldn?t return my calls.  I had to bring in a plumber for $500 to get the water running.  I tried texting and emailing Richard, and finally after a few days, he returned my text saying don?t worry about it he?s on it.  He wasn?t on it and eventually he stopped returning my texts and emails.  I ended up paying $24K, and only got around $10-12K worth of work done.  I decided to research Richard to see what kind of person I was dealing with and to my disappointment, I was dealing with a career criminal with a rap sheet pages long.  Look his name up here and see for yourself (http://courtconnect.courts.ri.gov/).  Those are just for his Rhode Island arrests.  Here?s his mugshot from his Florida arrests (http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Florida/Collier-County-FL/Richard-Robert-Froais.3548053.html).
I only put this in here because its public record and you should know who you?re dealing with.  I certainly wish I had this information before I made a final decision on a contractor.  Now I?m in a position where I need to find a new contractor to finish the job.  The money I gave Richard for counters and cabinets is gone and I have to go after him legally for retribution.   I?ve filed a claim against him with the RI contractor?s board.  All I wanted was a nice new kitchen, batch, and deck, but instead I?m dealing with this nightmare caused by Richard and NE Renovations.
