    All Access Arbor Care
The owner, Rosheed, impressed me right away with his engagement and enthusiasm. Price was lower middle of the pack after negotiating a bit and agreeing on terms and schedule. Crew arrived right on time, and throughout the project, I always knew what to expect. The owner was very responsive to my various special requests and questions. Job required coordination of the main crew plus four subs including crane, excavation, stump grinding, and log truck, all of which ran more-or-less like clockwork. Est. 50 tons total material removed. Very pleased with the results, and will be calling on All Access again.

    Nature-Redesigned Landscaping
We contacted Nature-Redesigned for an estimate on re-establishing a portion of our lawn after we had some excavation work done. Joe was very responsive and made time to come by to see the property. He provided us with an estimate that was significantly less than several others we had gotten. His crew was able to start on the job within 2 weeks and we are very happy with the results. He also found a very reasonable fertilization provider for us that has also been the cheapest and most thorough that we've seen. We've continued to have them provide our bi-weekly lawn maintenance as well as a fall cleanup. We will continue to have Nature-Redesigned maintain our property and we also plan to have them give us an assessment for putting in a patio. In addition to providing a great service, communication with Joe has been great! This has been an issue for us in the past but we're relieved to have found Joe and his crew.

    Jay's Lawncare & Landscaping
I began working with Jay many years ago. I was the first to put him on Angie's List - I was in awe of his professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, and quality of work. He hit a bunch of low spots in the last few years and we continued to try to work together. In the end, I guess we had to fire each other. I do hope he's on the upswing. If he's back to being the Jay I knew awhile back, I wholeheartedly endorse him for anyone who wants a quality job done.

    East Greenwich Tree Service
EG Tree Service returned phone calls promptly, showed up on time the day of the work and did a great job. When they were finished only a bit of sawdust was visible where two large pine trees and a double trunk birch tree had been. I have no reservations about recommending them and will certainly call them again when I need more tree work.

Besthands Landscape Construction & Design Inc
It takes a lot for me to post a negative review..this is the 1st poor review I have ever posted! We have used Emerson Martins 2 times in the past few years and his paver team is excellent. They do great quality work. He is not cheap, but delivers a good product. My frustration with Emerson Martins and Besthands is that they are very polite and professional while doing the project, but i hope you have nothing go wrong after...he will delay, make excuses, and act as though he is doing you a favor. 1st experience: Outside Patio with Cooking island -we spent over $25,000 and I cannot complain about one thing. They did a fabulous job, on time, and within budget. Due to this great experience, we decided to use Emerson Martins for our next project without even getting other quotes. 2nd experience: Front steps, walkway, and extension of asphalt --his company did the front steps/walkway and it was great. -he sub-contracted the asphalt to someone (not sure who) as i asked if he knew anyone and it would make my life a lot easier. He found someone (again not sure who), but when the asphalt was placed..i quickly knew there was a problem. The grade of the existing driveway was sloped and the extension was flat. I called Emerson immediately with this issue and he agreed to contact his sub-contractor who told him that is how it is when you put 2 asphalts together. However, every time it rained we would have a pond about 1-1.5inches in this area. I called several local asphalt contractors who told me that it was graded incorrectly as i had said, but only real solution is to redo it completely. I was already out $2,300 for this work through Emerson Martins and so i decided to just put up with the annoyance...even buying a squeegee. However, within 6months there was a sinkhole where the 2 pavements meet from all the water collection. At this point, i again called BEsthands who told me that they have no recourse with the subcontractor and that this is why they "don't do these favors" for people..."favors" cost me $2,300 and it was $500 for the asphalt than the local bids! Mr.Martins told me to get it done myself and send him what i thought was fair, but again commenting multiple times that this was out of his hands and this is why "he doesn't do these favors". I had it done on my own, paid $1,800, and have a perfect driveway. My wife and I decided not to forward the bill to Besthands because we were busy and to be honest...I didn't feel like dealing with Emerson's hemming and hawing about this "huge favor" he had done us. Our friends thought we were crazy to throw our own money to redo this and that we didn't even post a negative review...well until now!! We are relocating out of state and i called Besthands to come remove 6 personalized pavers that they had installed. Emerson quickly told me how it would cost me$500 to have his guys do it because it is too far didn't seem to far to take my $35,000 though! He told me it would be easier for me to find someone locally, but if he were to do it, it would cost $500. I reminded him of the incorrect asphalt and how my wife and I took care of the full $1,800 for the asphalt even though he had said to send it to him and that I though he was "penny pinching" us. He became quite frustrated..told me he wouldn't help because i was thinking about this old issue. He told me that he would only help if i sent him an email stating that "I will not sue him for his previous error". Are you kidding me?? So Mr.Emerson is my email to you...I will not sue you for the error of your subcontractor, i will not ask you for the $1,800 that I had to pay another contractor to fix the error your sub-contractor caused, and I choose not to use your company to remove my 6 pavers. You do not have to worry about sending a person this far out in Rhode Island to remove 6 personalized Pavers you placed!! In summary...does great work and is personable when things go well. BUYER BEWARE if from Rhode Island (as it is too far for him) or if there are negative outcomes...He will not take responsibility !!!

Frank and Domenic are amazing to work with. They are the nicest people to deal with and are true professionals. We are also considering using them for other landscaping projects in the future.

    Valter Rego Masonry
Valter and his crew removed our crumbling cinderblock retaining wall on our walkout basement stairs.  They replaced the walls with larger cinderblocks, filled them with cement, and reinforced with rebar.  Due to the pitch of our backyard he also waterproofed the wall and exposed foundation.  While he was here we also had him repoint our chimney which needed to be done!  He kept us in the loop with all steps of the project.

    Seascape Lawn Care
For the entire season, they charge close to a thousand dollars, between $900 and $1,000. They are great. They come at regular intervals and put down the different applications that the lawn needs. So, we never have to call or anything. It is just an automatic service that they do. Truthfully, I have not had much contact with them because sometimes I am not even here when it happens. I am usually not here or even if I am here, sometimes, I do not even know they have been outside. They leave something in my mailbox. What stands out about them is that they are just very reliable and they do the service that we need. I never had a problem. We did, at one point, have some tree service with them and that was great, but that was not a recent thing.

    Landscaping Concepts Inc
Do Not Use This Landscaper! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional or unresponsive company or individual. Bob got the work last fall and was initially very responsive (eager to get our business ) and provided us with a couple of different estimates based on work. With no time to shop around,  I took him for his word and assumed based on his background he would justify the high price for such a small job. This was my first mistake. Other estimates we later received for the same job had Landscaping Concepts charging 100% more. When spring came, we realized that the sod was not put in properly, with large areas dying despite constant watering and the edges of the sod squares still showing. The sod that was put in was full of weeds - and the initial job of removing all of the original plants in the beds wasn't done properly, as they started to come up through the new lawn!. And to top it off some of the plants he put in are dying and he won't honor his warranty.
While these issues might mean that Landscaping Concepts is completely incompetent - it was Bob's response that has been truly unprofessional. After a first email request to have him come take a look at the issues went unresponded to, I called in and Bob informed me that he was too busy with other work and talking to other prospective customers to come by. He then came and told me in person that he would find out what the weeds were and have it addressed, and would have one of his team come and fix the issue of plants growing up through the lawn. He has done neither and has not responded to any of multiple emails or calls. He apparently has no professional integrity and had no intention of addressing issues with his work!
There are many (and I am sure competent and honest) landscapers in the area. Do yourself a favor and don't use Landscaping Concepts Inc or Bob Langille.

They showed up on time, did a very professional job and left the property in good condition. They missed a few areas of trimming dead branches but when I called Rob he immediately had the crew come back to finish up.
