ABel Islands Roofing and SidingWe have hired Andrei five times over the past two years to make improvements to our rental condo in Provincetown. Every job was done punctually and completely to our satisfaction. The cracks in several walls caused by the 1870 building settling, those in the ceiling of our shower caused by a roof leak, and holes in drywall caused by renters pulling out several towel bars were repaired and repainted flawlessly to the point that you cannot tell where the cracks or holes were. Andrei is always polite, honest and helpful. He responds to inquiries immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends or to hire him again.- Saul O.

ABedford Builders RemodelingBob and his team completed a large repair on our home that took close to 4 weeks. We had extensive water damage and essentially had to replace an entire, 2-story wall, including installation of 8 windows and a patio door. When you have a crew inside your home, 5 days a week, 8+ hours a day for close to a month, you kind of get to know their ways and habits and everything about this company is top notch. Bob was in constant communication with me from beginning to end, and he and his 2 employees were super respectful of my home, especially during these uncertain COVID times. For example, when entering "community" areas of my home in order to use the restroom, masks were worn 100% of the time. They cleaned their work area each and every day before they left. Bob texted me each night to let me know the start time for the next morning, and the work itself was exceptional. He and his crew came back an extra day, on HIS dime, to make sure everything was picture perfect, down to paint touch-ups and electric curtains being hung. Bottom line: If you're looking for a construction company that shows up on time, pays close attention to detail, and doesn't leave you hanging, you've found your guy.- Kate P.

I had shopped around, and found Jon’s quote was very fair for the work I was having done, so I went with him... and I couldn’t be happier! The bathroom had ugly tile on the walls, so he had to replace all of the sheetrock, along with removing the toilet/tub/vanity, as well as redoing the floor. AI hired Dellaporta Construction about 4 years ago for a complete bathroom remodel and the process went very smoothly. The owner Lou is very professional and he is a perfectionist. My bathroom came out absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I had pictured! Recently I decided to re do my kitchen and I couldn't resist to hire Dellaporta Construction back again! He completed everything on time, perfection again, and very reasonable pricing. AThey owner, Jay, was reliable dependable showed up when he said he would. He did give us a discount since we got his name from Angie's list. My home is not a small home. Did a very good job. Scheduling was reasonable. He does ask for a deposit upon signing a contract. Once they finished power washed, scraped and primed the house doesnt take them too long to do the painting.

FAwful experience. Hired Bob to renovate a 3/4 story of a cape house into a full second story. I was told they do this sort of scope "10x per year". What ensued was a small crew of misfits showing up at my house and hacking together framing and roofing that neither met manufacturer or industry standards, nor passed inspection. Additionally, despite multiple assurances that my first floor would be kept dry and in tact during the renovation, there was substantial water damage to my first floor after one minor rainfall because the crew left my ceiling exposed overnight. And the next day they told me nothing hoping I wouldn't find out. So now I have to renovate the first floor due to mold, and my house is uninhabitable. I was told they would take care of everything and they did nothing. Every other word out of the crew's mouth was f this and f that, they all smoked and upon several site visits I smelled marijuana. Absolutely embarrassing for my neighborhood. To add insult to injury, after multiple complaints regarding lack of project management and poor workmanship, all I received was a bill for work that now has to be corrected in order to pass inspection and meet the design of my construction documents. Bob Brierly is a fraud. He sells the project well, then handed it off to the cheapest subs he could find and walks away. So instead of moving back into my house this week as agreed to in the contract, me and my two children have to find alternative housing while I wait for professionals to remediate the damage Calyx caused. Beware, these guys have no conscience and I highly recommend running a background check before you hire Bob Brierly.
