    Do not waste your time with this company! Very unprofessional. My refrigerator is in need of service, quick. Samsung sets me up with this company. They cancel the first appointment because their technician was on vacation. Schedule another appointment, only to get a phone call saying if I don't call back in 15 minutes, I lose my spot (appointment). This was at 2:30pm, my appointment was @ 4:30pm. I'm at work! Reasoning for the 4:30 appointment.... Now they reschedule a $2,000 refrigerator for next Thursday. But, aren't at fault if it takes a crap. NO THANKS. I have an appointment with somebody else tomorrow. That's the problem with today's world, NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! OH, and to top it off, their website says they have 24 hour emergency refrigerator service!!! I then was told, after the owner, Dave ignored me, that "one customer isn't going to hurt us". That's terrible business. This place is a joke, find someone else.

    I discussed my printing needs with Brian. He understood exactly what I wanted. Their graphic designer, Todd Miller, made several options for me to choose from. I personally went to the office to finalize the one I wanted. The result is absolutely fantastic. Very easy to work with, great local company, all the staff is professional, courteous and patient with me. I love the gallery look of the store. They bring innovative ideas for graphics and printing to York. Fun place to browse.Thank you very much for excellent printing products that you made for us.

    He explain to me what the problem was and what the cost would be to correct it. We mutually agreed that I should just get another television. He also hooked up a television that I had elsewhere in the house for my convenience. It was also a house call. He was very much of a gentleman.

    I had a TV that was purchased in 2005 and up until mid 2015 worked great. In mid 2015 the TV started actinbg up, it wouldn't turn off or on with the remote, I would have to turn it on & off with the power button on the TV. A few weeks after that it started not turning on or off unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in, then it just wouldn't turn on at all. Due to the fact that we paid so much for the TV and I wanted to see if I could get the TV fixed for less than it would cost to replace it I called the manufacturer to see if they offered repair service. The manufacturer listed to my explanation of what was happening and said they thought it was the mother board and the part would cost about $75.00. They did not offer repair service but if I ordered the part I should be able to take it to a TV repair shop and they shopuld be able to replace the mother board for me. I started looking for TV repair shops in my area on the internet and the few that came up never answered their phones or if they did were only open M-F until 5:00, which meant that I would have to leave work several hours early in order to drop the TV off and if they were able to repair it I would have the leave early again to pick it up. I decided to join Angie's List and saw that Modern TV & Big Screen Repair had a good rating and several positive reviews so I decided to give them a call. The owner (I think his name is Mr. Tran) answered the phone himself. I explained what had been happening and he said he would be happy to take a lokk at the TV and although the manufacturer said it was probably the mother board it was very possible it could be something else entirely.  He said that there was a $20.00 non refundable deposit required for him to check out the TV which I thought was reasonable and he was open on Saturdays whcih worked great for me so we agreed on a date for me to drop the TV off. I dropped it off on 08/27/16 and he explained what he would do to evaluate the problem. He also stated that he would call me with an estimate if the repair was going to be more than $100.00 as I had explained that was about the limit I was willing to pay to fix it. He had the TV for about 2 weeks and called me to tell me it was fixed. He said he had actually fixed it a few days before he called me but kept it so he could test it multple times to make sure the problem was resolved. He said the issue was not the mother board but the internal power source and the cost for parts & labor was $100.00. I thought the price ($120.00 total) was very reasonable as the cost to replace this size Tv would have been at least $250.00 - $400.00 so I was very pleased. Mt Tran was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional to deal with and I would definetly recommend him to anyone looking for quality TV repair at a fair price. He definetly made my first experience with Angie's List a very positive one.

    My Samsung model RS265TDRS/XXA had a cooling issue,  as per Samsung's service tech. I chose to search Angie's list because I've used contractors before with great Success. I called on 10/22/2015 and I was able to have a service tech come out the next day. Brandon was punctual and explained simply the fan had become repositioned and was too close to a heating unit.  I was aware I would have a $90 consult fee ( quite reasonable when ompared to similar services) He was her for about an hour and a half and fixed the position of the fan. I am aware that this particular Samsung side buy side fridge has issues after we bought it. I would recommend Apex gladly. Fair Price and the work is guaranteed for 90 days.

    When Mr.  Tran played with the controls for a minute, he realized the problem right away --  it was with Comcast, not the TV.  He fixed it, and showed me how to fix it myself if it happens again.  He also explained how to tell the difference between a Comcast problem and a TV problem.  Since my other TV (also connected to Comcast) worked fine, and since the cable connection was good (I checked that, first) I thought the TV was broken.  Well worth the $40.00 service call, just for the information.  Mr. Tran arrived within an hour of my call.  Good service, nice man.

    I like it but its too expensive. The only problem I've had with COMCAST is that sometimes when I call in, there's an awfully long wait till you get someone to answer your call. I've found that certain times of the day work out better than others. And also, I have an underground connection on my property that over the last two years has been damaged by heavy water because we have heavy rains so at one point two years ago, over a period of like two months, I was without anything because I have their triple plug. I was out of phone service, internet and TV for like 11 days. They got it straightened out, four different people were out here to work until they actually found the problem. That's the only interruption in service that I've had. Normally if something happens or something is not right, I call them. I have the high speed internet and I rarely have trouble with that. Somebody spliced my email last year and I wasn't getting any email, it was a heck of a problem to get it straightened out. They directed me to Norton Security and put a security system on my email. COMCAST really helped me out with that and paid for that. Once I get through to somebody, there service is pretty good. My service response time is pretty quick. If they can't come immediately, they do tell me when they'll be there and they notify me ahead of time. They give me the option to cancel the appointment, all that stuff. They are always very professional. They'll give you a financial refund if they are not here by the time they said they'd be here.

    If you have traffic violations, I would avoid any dealings with the Davis Law Group or  855-PA DRIVER.
    My experience with them was not good on behalf of my son.  Unfortunately, he had three violations in a short period of time.  I received a letter from the law firm so I contacted them.  We were desperate and I signed a contract and paid a fee for each violation.  However, over the phone, I am sure I was told if both appeals could be heard at the same time, I would only be charged as if it were one case and the second fee would be refunded.  My fault, I didn't get that in writing.  No refund!
    The law firm is in the Pittsburgh area but they must have attorneys across the state so a defendant can have someone local.  Unfortunately, the local attorney does not take the time to meet with his "client."  My son was to meet the attorney 15 minutes before court time to review his case.  Unfortunately, the attorney was 45 minutes late.  When I called the law firm in Pittsburgh they had no clue.  They did call me back and tell me that the attorney was going to be late.  I was reassured that the judge knew he was going to be late and it was not a problem.  Unfortunately, the police officer had to wait a hour as well.  If you ever have the opportunity to contest a traffic violation you will find that it is the police officer who makes the deal not the magistrate.  If I were forced to wait I don't think I would be in the mood to make much of deal either.  Guilty!
    Two appeals were filed.  Again, no meeting with the attorney until the day of the hearing.  This time the attorney was there but some of the first words out of his mouth were that he didn't have all of the information about the case and wasn't prepared to negotiate with the assistant district attorney.  
    Bottom line for me...Just go out and find a local attorney.  He will be glad to take your money and may take a minute to discuss your case with you.  Don't waste your time with the Davis Law Group.  Oh yes, be sure you get everything in writing...after all they are lawyers.

    A piece of carpet fiber had lodged in one of the water tubes of my Bissell Carpet Cleaner, blocking flow to the left side of the nozzle. Apex charged me a "bench fee" of $50 on May 27, 2014 to fix my machine.  After two weeks they called and said machine was fixed and the caller volunteered that they had, in fact, used the machine to clean some carpet including a car mat from their delivery van that was "really grungy" because it had never been cleaned in over two years.  I pick up the machine and paid another $25.  When I went to use the machine, it was filthy.  The water tank was dirty.  The water nozzle was dirty and, in fact, had black grease on either side.   After cleaning the machine, it would not pump water at all.  I returned the machine on June 9th.  I periodically called over the next 5-6 weeks and was always told it was the pump and they were trying to find a replacement.  I picked up the broken machine on July 23rd and asked for a refund of $75 because machine was in worse shape, and in need of a major repair, than when I brought it in.  I was told by a young man "standing in my face" that he was not allow to return money and that the owner David Nahum would have to handle that.  Well, I've been waiting for over a month for Mr. David Nahum to call or send me a check.  He has not contacted me and he does not return calls and is never available.
