    Aletheia Roofing & Construction
I need to remodel my kitchen. dining room, and bedroom due to the fact that my aging mother was coming to live with me, and would be spending a lot of time at home. I was drawn to Aletheia because of the extent of their involvement in the community and with underprivileged children. Having had so many bad experiences with unreliable contractors, I figured contractors that are volunteering and helping others had to have the type of moral character I could trust to work in my home. I was not disappointed. My mom loves light colors so I requested Aletheia to help me design something that would be safe (my kitchen had uneven floors from the kitchen to the dining room) and also create an inviting atmosphere. Aletheia built a custom closet out of shiplap that's gorgeous in the bedroom! Aletheia spent time helping me figure out a way to configure a kitchen that utilized existing appliances, and used customized cabinets from IKEA to keep material costs low but could adapt to the area. I'm not very good with designs, so I only knew what I would generally want, but the attention to detail that they gave on recommending I add certain things (like a shoe bench and coat rack near the kitchen door since that's how most people enter) I appreciated so much! The workers were professional and respectful, but most of all honest. They stayed in touch with me every step of the way, gave me options and fully communicated about everything. I've had so many bad experiences in the past with contractors who try to cut corners because they're lazy or want to make an extra dollar that I'm always nervous anytime I have to get work done around the house because I don't know how much I'll need to sit on the workers to keep them honest. I did not have to babysit anyone with Aletheia. They showed up when they said they would, and would fully communicate any schedule changes. Aletheia was genuinely interested in making a place my mom would love, and the result is that my mom spends her days in the dining room, because she loves it there. It was worth every penny, and I would do it again! I also love the fact that 25% of the profits go to help underprivileged children. In fact, I later learned that the proceeds of this job helped to send some of those children on an overseas trip.

    Journey Builds
Andrew was able to show me around his awesome tiny house that him and his partner built. The use of space was absolutely incredible! I am looking to get one built for one of my properties. Would recommend this business to anyone interested into tiny houses! Give him them a call today and they can show you something next level!

    Palmeri Construction Company Inc
We are so pleased with the whole process. We remodeled a condo that hadnt been touched since the 1980s. Lou was easy to work with, responsive, and very organized. He worked very hard to stay on our budget and move-in deadline so our family could spend the holidays in our new condo. Brad had a very positive can do attitude and was easy to work with as well. The job site was always neat and clean. We would highly recommend Palmeri Construction.

Contract was signed November 2017 for bathroom remodel. Work was to start 1/5/18. Sales rep stated a designer would come to measure and draft plans within 2 weeks. No one came. Contractor called to start work third week in January. They were going to put in a 31" x 60 " shower pan but our shower area is 48" x 48". They had no plans for our bathroom. We had sales rep return to our house 2/2/18 to measure and draft plans. Contractor was to obtain permits. As of 3/27/18, no permits have been obtained and work has not started. We have contacted contractor several times via phone calls. Contractor states that permits are not needed. We checked with our township and the plumbing work would require a permit. Contractor also has no anticipated start date saying that they are short handed. On 3/27/18 we find out the sales rep we dealt with has left the company. We want to cancel and get our deposit back of $5700 but they refuse to return our deposit. We are registering a complaint with BBB. Hopefully we can get our deposit back.

Exactly as specified. Ron Reed & his crew even painted when I originally wanted and spec'd to paint the new room myself to save money. NO EXTRA CHARGE! Everything, including faucets, fixtures, paint color, flooring and drop ceiling tile is tasteful and installed professionally.

    Feiner Services LLC
He did a great job at the small drywall repair area & fixed a previous handyman's mistakes, so it now looks great! He researched & was honest about the flooring we picked not being the best choice, so rather than install it and us run into problems later on, we decided to go with something else installed by another company under his instruction. I appreciate his integrity, strong character & honesty, even if it meant he wouldn't be paid for that specific project. That is not always easy to come by these days & I highly recommend him. SO friendly, helpful, knowledgable & patient, even with my kids observing. Will definitely hire again!

    Interior Contracting Group
Ken did an amazing job on the ceramic tile in our kitchen. He was very efficient and detail oriented, and really cared about the final appearance of the job, including other details within the kitchen. Wish we would have found him earlier in our project! Have already recommended to a friend for their interior remodeling needs, and will definitely hire Ken again on our next project!

George W Kraft Jr & Son Contractor
To sum up our feelings in one sentence, the custom cabinetry, flooring and counter tops are awesome, but they need a detailer. The overall rating we wanted to give was a B-. The project progressed slowly and took longer than stated. We understood that the cabinets would be built prior to starting anything at the house. The cabinets were not started until after everything was torn out of the old kitchen. We looked past all of this because everything looked great once the floor and cabinets started going in. When we could finally start putting things in the new cabinets, we started to find the issues. The cabinets were dirty and still had saw dust inside. I don't know if this is normal or not, but feel at least the sawdust could have been cleaned up. The cabinet designed for my cookbooks was not sanded on the inside making it difficult to clean. The wood was split where 1 of the hinges was installed on a cabinet front. We had cabinet doors where the stain did not match because they only had 1 coat of stain while the rest had 2 or more. Then some doors didn't have the polyurethane coating. They did fix everything we pointed out to them, but the concern is what we didn't find. We found a faulty GFIC outlet 2 months after completion of the project. When the recessed lights were turned on and you plugged something into that outlet, the lights flickered on and off. It took 6 weeks to get the outlet replaced and the new one installed is a cheaper brand than the rest of them. My husband requested Leviton brand be used for all outlets installed. The other outstanding issue is the hinge on the lazy susan cabinet. The original hinges allowed the door to open, but not the whole way. We were told new hinges were ordered and we would be contacted to install them as soon as they arrived. Two months after completion of the project, the hinges had still not arrived. They were finally installed a month later with the cheaper outlet. Now the issue is that the hinge does not allow the bottom shelf to turn around. See the picture below. We were told they would come back after Christmas to move the bottom hinge up to allow free movement of the bottom shelf. That was 3 months ago. Since then we have also found bare electrical wires that should have been covered with wire nuts. These details can individually be seen as minor, but when combined together become pretty big issues. Overall, the room looks great. The issues are in the details. But the details are important too.

    Par One Construction Inc
Par One Construction worked with me on my budget. I was not able to go over a certain amount and they helped me every step of the way. We designed the layout, picked the finishes and started. Once the project got underway there were complications with the plumbing that they addressed immediately. Kept me informed on everything that they did. Compared to a dingy old basement with little lighting, i am now pleased to say that we have a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room. Their employees were very polite and punctual. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Took several tries for my daughter to finally get someone on the phone and make an appt. Don't remember the women's name but she actually was a few minutes early. Upon showing her what work needed done, she took a few measurements. There wasn't really much feedback, as to what options where available or what work might be involved. We felt like we were wasting her time. She said that she would have Jason call the next day to come measure the floor. He never called. My daughter never heard anything more from anyone about an estimate or anything.
