    Upward Carpentry Services, LLC
Excellent! Caleb was on time every day, cleaned up after himself daily, and was flexible when a family emergency required us to rework the schedule for the project. He had a great attitude and was patient with our puppy, too. I couldn't be happier with the finished results of the drywall. Overall - highly recommend!

    Palmeri Construction Company Inc
We are so pleased with the whole process. We remodeled a condo that hadnt been touched since the 1980s. Lou was easy to work with, responsive, and very organized. He worked very hard to stay on our budget and move-in deadline so our family could spend the holidays in our new condo. Brad had a very positive can do attitude and was easy to work with as well. The job site was always neat and clean. We would highly recommend Palmeri Construction.

    Rick's Home Improvements
I could not be happier with the work that Chad and his team did on my home. The upgrades look fantastic and we are very happy with our new bathroom! Unlike so many other contractors, Chad is very responsive - he returns calls and does what he says he will do. He and his team were professional and very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be using Chad and Rick's Home Improvements again in the future.

    N Bennecoff Drywall & Plaster
Nate and his son are fantastic. We had a large project that was a mix of drywalling and plastering, and the existing plaster they were blending with was especially tricky in the areas around the doors and windows. To complicate matters, our timeline was a little tight. Nate found a way to work us in immediately, and the job they did was phenomenal. It is impossible to tell which areas are original, which are drywall, and which are plasterthere are no seams, no high/low spots, and the cove where the wall and ceiling meet is beautiful. Both Nate and his son are personable and fun to work with, which is especially nice for a stressed-out homeowner. I wouldnt hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to my friends.

    Lanco Construction Co
I hired Lanco Construction to complete a basement drywall install and finish job. The price was very fair for the work being done. We hauled all of the drywall to the basement for Norm and his helper, Barry. Both men were very nice, punctual, and Norm was responsive by text and email. I left a key to my home each day, and I even provided lunch for them on two occasions. I knew this was not easy work! The process from start to finish took almost three weeks. The installation was done decently. However, they started to install the drywall on the wall and rested it directly on the concrete floor in our basement. After some research, I asked if they would cut it 1/2' from the concrete surface, and they did so without question. I am just assuming they should have known with moisture that it should not have been installed that way. Once finishing began, I would check the work they did each day. Each day they cleaned their tools out in our kitchen sink after applying the mud. I did not mind this at all! However, I often had to run the vacuum when I returned home from work each day. I also had to wipe down the cabinetry at the sink area since they leaned against it while cleaning their tools, and dust and mud would adhere to the cabinets. All looked fine with the drywall finishing until they were done, and I noticed the outside corner edges were wavy, and there were several spots where tape was showing or spots that needed resanded. He did not use metal corner bead but instead a tape product with a metal insert that just ran along the outside corner of the cut drywall. The outside corners were finished so badly that I asked him to return again to replace several of the outside edges. I even purchased several of the metal corner bead pieces for him. He replaced them without question. After the job was completely finished, there were still spots that needed to be replaced and repaired. The inside corners were all rounded and not crisp inside corners like in the rest of my home. Just about all of the inside corners looked this way. There were also additional outside corners that were wavy because metal corner bead was not used. Instead of asking Norm back, I decided to hire another contractor at my cost to complete these repairs. I am not an incredibly picky person, and I tried to be as accommodating and welcoming with my home, but the finishing work is where this contractor is lacking in skill. I had to pay him, as well as a separate contractor to complete a job that I feel should have been done right the first time. I feel like I was taken advantage of, honestly.

    Quality Home Remodeling LLC
Tony (Quality Home Remodelings owner) was attentive from the estimate to the contract signing. From there, it was not apparent who (if anyone) was overseeing the project to finish our basement. We didnt see Tony until a week and a half after our project started. During the project, which was more than a month delayed past his quoted finish date, we rarely saw Tony or received updates unless we reached out and asked. We had 3 (almost 4) failed township inspections, mislaid tile, improperly hung drywall, bowed window framing, gaps at the bottom of door framing, jagged carpet thresholds, and more. Despite their HVAC work, weve been unable to get this area above 62 degrees. His employees were very nice and many of them did good work, but he subcontracted with others and results were not good. Also, we did not give permission for photos to be taken in our home and yet Tony secretly took photos and then posted them on Facebook. Beware of this contractor. His overall work is questionable and he is very unprofessional.

    Feiner Services LLC
Mr Feiner did an excellent job. He is punctual and courteous. The job was a bit more involved than I originally imagined but he wasnt fazed at all and worked until the entire job was completed. Very happy to have met Mr Feiner from Angies List. Hire this man!

    Rick's Home Improvements
We recently purchased our first house, which had multiple minor issues that we wanted to address sooner rather than later. I found Rick's on Craigslist, but I was hesitant to hire someone from Craigslist until I read the reviews on Angie's List. We've been 100% satisfied with the service we've received from Chad and his crew. Chad was great at staying in contact with us (via email and text message, which I love -- yay 21st century technology!) and was incredibly polite and respectful. He was very flexible with scheduling and always showed up when he said he would. So far, the work Rick's completed looks like it was done correctly and professionally, and we haven't had any problems. We're very happy and consider ourselves lucky to have found such a reliable and professional company right off the bat. Rick's will definitely be our go-to fix-it guys as we move forward with the repairs and upgrades to our home.

    Feiner Services LLC
He did a great job at the small drywall repair area & fixed a previous handyman's mistakes, so it now looks great! He researched & was honest about the flooring we picked not being the best choice, so rather than install it and us run into problems later on, we decided to go with something else installed by another company under his instruction. I appreciate his integrity, strong character & honesty, even if it meant he wouldn't be paid for that specific project. That is not always easy to come by these days & I highly recommend him. SO friendly, helpful, knowledgable & patient, even with my kids observing. Will definitely hire again!

    Interior Contracting Group
Ken did an amazing job on the ceramic tile in our kitchen. He was very efficient and detail oriented, and really cared about the final appearance of the job, including other details within the kitchen. Wish we would have found him earlier in our project! Have already recommended to a friend for their interior remodeling needs, and will definitely hire Ken again on our next project!
