    Waterproofing One
They came out & explained how they were going to resolve the drainage issue from our basement & lawn. We were surprised at the depth of work they had done to ensure that this issue was resolved for the new owners. They did as they said they would do per the estimate. These guys worked so hard & got rained on a good bit of the day, yet that didn't stop them from completing the job. They went above & beyond. It has been over a month now & we are very pleased to see no drainage issues. Thanks Waterproofing One for coming to our rescue! Dave & Lisa

Took a while before they came! Good Job done, except they didnt do the Electrical work for the 2 Sump Pumps inside. They hooked the Electric up on the outside Sump Pump. This doesnt make a sense to me! Other than that they were OKAY! For the Cost it should be included!

All Mold & Basement Services LLC
All Mold & Basement services worked quickly on what was a VERY big job. The mold that was on the studs, ceilings and basement walls is completely gone and the work they did at putting in the sump pump and other waterproofing measures looks great. The owner was great to work with and very responsive with questions or issues that arose during the project. I appreciated this company's willingness to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work.

    Basement Waterproofing Solutions
The guy was great, he gave me a great estimate, but I keep getting surveys on him. I don't know if I'm doing them wrong, but I don't have time to keep doing them. They guy came, he did an estimate. He did a great job on the estimate. I would have used him but I didn't get the grant that I applied for. I took the time to do a survey. He did a good job. He came out when I asked him to, the estimate was fair and reasonable. He was knowledgeable. The work was for my nonprofit, but we didn't get the grant. If I'd gotten the grant, I would have used him.

They were very good to deal with. They were very communicative. They were prompt and the people were great to work around, and they answered all my questions. They were top-notch, they were good. It all works! We haven’t had any issues. I don’t remember what the price was, but we did comparison shop and it was definitely comparable. A lot of work was done, it was pretty extensive.

I was very pleased with the outcome of services. I liked the fact it was not an hourly bill but a flat fee and they worked on Saturday and Sundays along with 10 hour days so we were not without the full use of our home for a long time which was a factor in deciding on this contractor.

    Quality Home Remodeling LLC
The job consisted of putting framing and then wainscoting around half a large recreation room. There was also a problem corner area where an unsightly sump pump is located. The wainscoting went fine and the details are finished off nicely. The boss came up with the idea of making a closet to enclose the problem corner area and the end result blended in with a built-in area all across the front of the room, making the whole thing look like it was original. I met three workers who were all pleasant and professional. A couple of times, I explained what I was looking for and we discussed it and they adapted the design. They cleaned up afterward each day's work as well as any non- homeowner ever does. As an amateur woodworker, I am particular about finish details and I told them at the outset that I would do some of the minor finishing details myself (like setting, puttying and staining finish nails in solid oak) which I did. I am quite happy with the end result and I would recommend them to anyone.

    Access Basement Systems

It could not have gone better.  They were here for about a week, and did the work, which I would have guessed would have taken two weeks to complete, AND IT WAS DONE RIGHT! with NO MESS!

Each Access Basements' employee  ( Dan, Chris, Melvin and Trip)  were professional, very orderly,  considerate and friendly.  I felt really comfortable with all of them, and probably ended up hanging out too much observing the job and their workmanship, which was flawless to a T!!

I now have an attractive, water proofed basement that we don't have to worry about as we constantly did in the past.

I'd also like to add the there occurred a slight problem, which was not  part of the their program or original issue that the owner, Mike, Kuehn, along with Josh came back to address, at no cost.  Was great to meet Mike, and he also further reinforced my confidence and comfort lever in their operation.  They also did an addition job, applying glass board throughout the entire unfinished parts of the basement, which turned out exceptional, and dresses up that part of the basement... now it's officially my "Man Cave".

And, I would be extremely happy to PERSONALLY talk to anyone who is considering ASSESS BASEMENTS, or other operations, because I did extensive research and interviewed many of them in the business before I chose ASSESS BASEMENTS, and am couldn't be happier that I did.  ACCESS BASEMENTS has my vote as the best, by far, in the area, and beyond.

I am a ?Hands on? type homeowner.  However, I know when a job is difficult
enough that I need to contract out the work.
Dealing with water table and basement drainage is an area that can cause
big trouble if done wrong.  Therefore, I
realized I needed to ask a contractor to take on the problem I had with damp
spots and a high water flow rate into the primary sump pit during heavy rains.
To develop a plan and to select the group that would do the
job I interviewed 2 contractors.  The
first contractor (not Basement Waterproofing Specialists).  Provided a good plan and an excellent price
(about $3K).  However they never seemed
to have the time to answer any of my follow up questions and therefore I gave
up on them as a real option to do the work.
I got the impression that the price they had quoted was ?too good?.  Not enough profit for them to bother with the
    job.
I then attended a community event where Basement
Waterproofing Specialists (BWS) was a sponsor.
Because I had given up on the first waterproofing contractor, I decided
to at least sign up with BWS to get an estimate.  BWS got back to me in a timely manner and
sent out an inspector to review my current problem and propose a solution.  The proposed approach was more extensive than
had been proposed by the first group and came with about a 50% higher price
($5K).  However, I recognized that the BWS
approach was a more robust design and I recognized that the first contractor
had probably not built in enough profit in their bid to make my job worth them
    pursuing.
I contracted with BWS to implement their design. The crew
arrived on the date specified.  They did
an excellent job draping the work area in the basement to minimize the possibility
of dust and dirt being transported all around the basement and the rest of the
house.  They jack hammered the portion of
the floor to install the perforated pipe and then dug out the gravel and
dirt.  Then they installed the pipe and
    sump pit.  The installation was
relatively complicated because the additional radon abatement system
    requirements.
This was a highly manual operation and the two fellows
worked very hard.  All the gravel and
concrete needed to be moved through my home?s entry hall and down the cellar
stairs.  The work crew did a good job
accomplishing the movement of the materials without soiling, or damaging either
    the hall, or the stairs.
The crew completed the drain and sump pit and sump pump
installation in about 7 hours.  There was
a second crew that was supposed to take care of the defect in the wall.  The second crew did not show up when expected
and the first group needed to leave.  My
sense was at that point the first crew started to rush and forgot some final
    details.  Nothing significant, but kind
    of a nuisance for me.
I arranged for the second BWS crew to return a week later
and fix the defect in the wall, and tie up remaining loose ends.  The second crew arrived at the agreed upon
date and time.  They addressed the
details that had been missed by the first crew and completed the work on the
    defect in the wall.
I am satisfied with the work performed by Basement
    Waterproofing Specialists.  They appeared
to be quite capable of installing very complicated water drainage systems and
they were certainly hard workers. In addition, they responded quickly to tie up
    the project?s loose ends.
