  • Got appointment in just a few days. Had to wait a little while to have my cat seen but not too long. Exam was quick and shots didn't bother the cat at all. I like the size of the new waiting room and the parking lot is great.

  • The vet was professional but we did not agree on treatments. Although I provided copies of X-rays taken previously of teeth, the vet failed to examine them before examining my dog and thought his teeth were in good condition. They are not in good condition and this could be seen had the vet checked the X-rays I provided.
I was told when I called to set up an appointment that the vet does the dental, not a vet tech. This was false information. I'm thankful I found out right away and the vet was at least honest with me about that however; after our initial visit, I made it perfectly clear we wasted not only her time but my time and money.
I wasn't searching for state of the art equipment nor was I searching for a brand new facility. Good vets can work in older buildings. This was an older building and that was okay except it was dirty. The scale was filthy from feces left by another animal. Germs and diseases are transmitted from that waste!!! I would not consider going there again regardless of any given situation.

  • Was not informed beforehand that a vet tech was doing the dental. As a result of the dental, my dog had teeth pulled I am not convinced should have been pulled and a tooth I knew needed to be pulled was not pulled. Trachea issues resulted in the dental because a lump was removed from the roof of the mouth. Highly over priced for a dental. On return for two week check, took another dog in requesting X-ray to make sure bladder was clear of stones. Instead of doing an X-ray, a rectal was performed which left dog incontinent, in excruciating pain the loss of use of rear legs. I was brushed off because the dog was older and told that this dog's condition was obviously declining. After several visits and visits to specialists, it is obvious something was ruptured and the dog died within two weeks of living h***. I would NEVER recommend this animal hospital to anyone. They are highly over priced. They recommend unnecessary testing for something totally irrelevant to a condition you take your dog or pet there for and they will not admit to mistakes made which cost the life or not 'just a dog or pet' but a family member with fur. Yes, they are professionals but they are in the business to make large profits on anyone who loves their pet.

  • It went well. I've been taking my dog to Dr. Dalassandro for about 10 years. She is an excellent vet. Her staff are great, too. The atmosphere is very friendly. She takes a real interest in my dog and in what I tell her. She is an excellent diagnostician. I think her charges are very reasonable.

  • Very nice vet - took care of the infection and gave meds. But staff at reception area were not very professional and the office wasn't very organized or clean. (2011) Haven't been back there since.

  • Well my cat died 4 months later. For starters he handled my cat with no care and her stitches came out i took her back over he only put 1 stitch in with no gloves on. I took her to another Vet cause she dropped alot of wait and stopped eating and drinking he did blood work on her for feline aids and lukimia came up negative her blood cell count was at a 8 when norm is 30-50 he said a bacteria got in her from a surgery and that was the only surgery she had so I would never recommend this place to anyone it's dirty. I would never trust him with any animal. My cat was my kid she was almost 2 yrs old. I have no children. She was my child and I miss her. Thanks for the scummy service.

  • The procedure was done according to schedule and I picked up my dog six hours after i took him to see Dr. Stair. No hidden fees or extra charges. We planed the procedure and all fees were clearly explained to us. We chose the use of a laser rather than scalpel for the incision to minimize discomfort to our dog and maximize healing. Our dog went home happy and had no difficulty recovering from the procedure.

  • Utilized this vet multiple times. ALWAYS been pleased. Very nice doctors, staff, etc... I feel like they go out of their way to provide service. Only dislike? Fox News in the waiting area!! Ugh.... Dr. Johns say it ain't so! :P

  • We could not be happier. The staff was great with our dog. She loved the visit and didn't mind the poking, The had ample cookies and attention for her. She was comforted and relaxed by them. The doctor B Phillips was fantastic. He examined her and spoke with us very frankly about her condition. He fully explained everything right down to her ailment and treatment. He did not make us feel like BAD dog parents. Even made us feel secure in caring for her. He did not talk down to us and made us feel confident in her treatment. We cannot say enough about Dr Phillips or his staff. And even worked with us regarding the payment. Also, what he charges is not outrageous either. As a matter of fact the costs are very moderate to low compared to others Veterinarians we have been to. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Phillips and the Back Mountain Veterinary Hospital.

  • Dr. Paul Kutish helped us when our cat suddenly stopped eating and became very sick. After testing they found that it was cancer and we decided to euthanize our beloved cat who had lost half his body weight and couldn't eat or drink any longer. I was a mess, crying uncontrollably at times, but Dr. Kutish was so compassionate, understanding and we were thankful that he was the vet that was available that day because he was so amazing. We never had to put a pet down before and I owe Dr. Paul Kutish a debt of gratitude because he made a very tough day much more manageable with his support, quiet demeanor and approval that we were doing the best thing for our cat. Thank you for everything, Dr. Kutish.
