From the estimate to the tree removal....everyone I spoke with was polite and respectful. The guys did a great job taking the tree down and cleaning up. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

I was happy with the job, until the grass/weeds started growing. Instead of grass we got a lawn full of "goose grass" a form of crab grass. Called Bob and he came out to look at it. Told us it was in the soil he put down and it wasn't his fault. After all he told us the dirt was screened and the best in the Valley. So he now wants us to pay him to put a chemical on it to kill the goose grass. I paid him in full $3,700 to do the job and I feel he should pay to have it romoved and replaced with the grass we were promised and paid for. I will let you know if his offer changes.

Salesman showed up and gave me a fair price after a little negotiation.... very professional crew showed up in two trip. First trip for cutting down the tree and second trip for grinding down the stumps (one from previous rainstorm).

The whole crew was really friendly and great about answering any questions I had. As a matter of fact, George's son Danny who was reshaping my insane forsythia hedge actually scalloped it across the bottom when I mentioned that it was taking on that shape, he fine tuned it and it is awesome! I couldn't be more impressed or happier with this job. My neighbors were so impressed that they come over to hire George next!

I can't say enough good things about Tom and all his guys. They were all extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I had some things i wanted to add and they listened and got it done without any hesitation. Communication is key and everybody at this company is top notch. I am very satisfied with everything from the price to the completed product. Will definitely be calling them in the future. Tom was great with picking out flowers, rock for the flower beds, and edge stone. GREAT COMPANY!

Tom Diphillipo contacted me within 2 hours of my initial inquiry into Diphillipo's landscaping services. He was very courteous on the phone with me, as well as with my husband in person. The estimate that we received was exactly what we were expecting. Even better, I was able to use a 15% off of labor coupon that I found on Angie's List.

The landscaping team of four gentlemen showed up at 8AM the day that Tom said they would. They worked very hard - let me tell you, my yard certainly was not an easy project.

Although this is undoubtedly a very busy time of year for Diphillipo's, it took less than a month from the initial contact to project completion. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Craig came out to assess the job and provide an estimate. He returned with a large bucket truck and another worker to trim off dead and stir damaged branches, balancing the large hardwood tree in the process. He cleaned up thoroughly afterwards including leaves and smaller twigs and such. He was very professional and pleasant to talk to. I would definitely hire him again!

These guys are great. I called that day and they delivered top soil and fill by the end of the day, which was a big help to me. They're always very punctual and I've never had a problem getting dirt delivered in less than a day or two.

After only one year, the concrete block front porch steps literally fell off the porch at my main entrance.  There has not been ONE thing that he has done right.  The retaining wall has been pointed out as crooked and sloppy by every visitor to my home, and the concrete deco blocks are not all secured (in addition to what was mentioned earlier).   Mike was supposed to resurface my patio and put my pavers back down.  I came home from work to find that the patio was probably 4-5 inches lower than it had been.  My deck steps that led to the patio were now suspended in the air overhanging the lower patio.  Seriously?  He argued with me, getting in my face when I complained that he had tree roots exposed on the patio floor.  He cut seven pavers around them and put some of my river rock in the gaps.  When I complained it was dangerous and also a liability, he got in my face again, strongly arguing with me.  He said no good landscaper would build on top of tree roots.  I DID have pavers over tree roots when he started, but when he took out the old gravel, etc., he did not replace with a like amount.  There was no extra fill to raise the floor to the necessary level.  Bottom line,  corners were cut at the expense of the safety of myself and any guests to my home.
A brick pad was built just off the other side of the deck.  It was not as wide as the stair, not allowing a person stepping off the stair to land directly on the brick, but onto the ground several inches lower than the pad.  I told him it was dangerous and someone could easily fall and break their ankle.  After another argument, he agreed to extend the pad with a wood beam.Mike poured a concrete shed pad, which from day one was no where near the required thickness.  He lied to me about getting a permit.  He ordered it, never paid for it, then did the work anyhow.  He used heavy equipment to lift a shed full of equipment, leaving me with large gashes on the outside of the shed, and chemicals  spilled on the inside.
We were using recycled brick for the walkway project.  Since this was an unfinished job, Mike left a very large stack of brick blocking the sidewalk, a public right of way.  He also left two large mounds of debris - one in my front yard, one in the back.
Saying it nicely, Mike Klein?s company has been nothing but problems for me.  To top it all off, HE BAILED ON THE JOB - LEAVING A MESS IN EVERY DIRECTION.  My neighbors unfortunately did not tell me what they witnessed until after he left.  They were questioning , number one, why did he ever start so many different tasks around the yard without finishing anything first? Any future contractors, I will make sure I am on site as they work.  I cannot state strongly enough I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER DOING ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Could have gone better....but, Mike always stands behind what he sells and makes it right.  Few things were not as expected and some fencing had to be re-built to match all other fencing preciously installed.  Just seemed like the job that happens on a Monday!  Mike will make it right and it will be pristine as his jobs always are!  Use TurfPro at home and for my business.  Also use TurfPro for snow plowing at my business.  Crews are always very courteous, clean up after done and no radios or swearing when on site!  Woudl recommend.
