    Rick Birkholz Remodeling & Repair
Rick does high quality work and is very pleasant to work with. He always wants to do the job the right way and not cut corners. He was willing and able to add on some other small repair and remodeling jobs around the house, which we greatly appreciated. Rick works alone (bringing in a plumber or electrician if needed for major work in those areas), so the elapsed time for a project may not be the shortest possible. On the other hand, noise and disruption during the project are minimal. His price was in line with other estimates I received.

Outstanding crew!!! Highly recommended to anyone in need of any insulation work, but specifically anybody with mold issues in the attic space. David and his crew actually took the time to work with our family to find the root cause of moisture issues we've been having in the attic.  after many other phone calls and wasted time, insulwise was the answer. they air sealed my entire attic floor so no air from the house could enter, as well as increased my r value to 49.  now my  temperature inside the house and the second floor is much more consistent, saving $ on heating and cooling, but most importantly no moisture is able to enter the attic space.  they were courteous, professional, well priced, and without a doubt i would recommend then to anyone in need of moisture issues in the attic, or any other insulation work.

Andy Haak (President) and Xavier visited our house (free of charge) to check things out to determine if Aeroseal was the solution for our problem. They actually spent a few hours measuring air flow, doing visual inspection, etc. It was measuring an extremely high leakage, but Andy was confident that Aeroseal could solve the problem. He advised that the abnormally high leakage usually indicates a disconnect, and that any extra duct work has an hourly charge. The next day, Andy sent a quote via email, and we scheduled the service. Andy and crew showed up promptly that morning and began the work. After sealing all the ducts and wrapping the garage duct with insulation , they started the Aeroseal equipment to seal the ducts. The equipment measures leakage as it works, so you could actually see the improvement. At some point, the leakage was no longer decreasing. It had improved a lot, but Andy said it was not to the level that it should be. After looking around, Andy suspected there was a disconnect in our basement's ceiling, which ending up being true. They fixed the connection, and started up the Aeroseal equipment again. The air leakage went down quickly and dramatically. Andy's team provided a printout of the whole process, showing the original leakage and final leakage. The real surprise was when we went upstairs after they left. Cold air was BLOWING out of the vents. In fact, the second floor got too cold, because we hadn't reopened our first floow registers. All in all, it was an amazing difference. I can't believe we lived as we did for so long. Andy and his team were kind and professional, and I feel the service was a good value. Highly recommended.

The team did a great job. The main job was to seal the duct work throughout the house via their machine, and they also insulated a duct exposed in the garage. The team was very thorough, and using the computer we watched as the amount of leakage went down significantly. Along the way, they found that a duct was completely disconnected in the ceiling of our basement. They reattached that and continued the sealing process. There was a very noticeable difference in the amount of air reaching the second floor, now that air isn't seeping out all the seams in the duct work. Highly recommended! Two years later... the difference is incredible! I can't imagine how much money we were wasting before.

Terminix - Bridgeville -Termite & Pest Control
They first sent someone to get rid of a raccoon in the attic. During this inspection he convinced me to install insulation in the attic. The attic door was not insulated properly and we detected significant amounts of warm air leakage with a thermal camera, but he came back to fix that.
Chutes were also not installed on the soffit and this is apparently needed for proper ventilation. The improper installation caused a blockage and an ice dam to form.
We have since reached out to a different company who have unblocked the soffit and installed the insulation correctly. In addition they air-sealed the attic as this was also not done before and we were told it would be a health hazard if it wasn't done.

Very productive two workers covered a lot of territory in eight hours. Impressed with how hard they worked to get everything done. I really appreciated them staining the floor of my house. Although it is like painting it probably was not a standard request and they did not hesitate and did an excellent job.

    A Preferred Restoration
I found A PREFERRED RESTORATION on Angie's List.  I called them to inquiry whether they could complete the job of cleaning up rodent infestation in my garage ceiling.  Joe arrived at my house at a convenient time based on my schedule and looked at the job to be done.  He assured me it was within their scope and would be able to complete the job.  He took the measurements and told me the job would be priced on a per square-foot basis.  24-hours later he emailed me an estimate.  The price was well within my worse case expectations so I promptly called to schedule the work.  It would be 2 - 3 weeks before they could do the work which I was OK with.  The contractor, Gary, arrived on the correct day at the promised time.  We did a quick walk-through in the garage to cover the scope of the work to be done.  Gary promptly began tearing down the drywall and insulation.  He allowed me to conduct visual inspections of the ceiling so I could assess the overall damage from the rodents.  Gary was very accommodating and added extra insulation in a few spots (around water and drain lines) and he also built in a few access ports within the ceiling so I can easily inspect the area in the future for any potential problems.  My only complaint is I think he was rushing toward the end and didn't do a very good job of taping sealing the drywall seams.  The seams are indeed taped and joint compounded but I think he could have done a little better job.  Overall a good experience and they corrected the problem I hired them to do.  I'm pleased with their work and would hire them again.  I would certainly recommend their services.

Andrew is very knowledgeable and upfront.
He and his co-worker Tim are very dedicated to the task and deliver on what they promise.
Showed up on time and finished about 10 hours later - they worked hard all day.
Already notice an improvement with the first cool days of Fall.

    MINCIN INSULATION SERVICE INC
It went well. It took 3 days. These kinds of jobs are always a little messy, but we knew that in advance. They blew in A LOT of insulation- it is ground up- and treated paper that is blown into the attic (loosely) and into the walls (tightly) via holes in the outside wall covering (which in our case was wood slats). They also fixed problems that they encountered, such as bathroom vents that had to be vented to the outside (and not just into the attic).
