I purchased a SUV from them in 2014 and it needed a new engine. They fixed it after 3 month wait. I bought another car 2018 from them and 1 year later it needs a new engine. I took it in when i first bought it to tell them something was off. when the engine went i went there to see what my options where and they never called me back not once. I went up there again to even ask what was going on with my truck and they promised to help and still no one has called me back or helped. Im a single mom and my job is my car. Horrible service but i would love to find out why they treated me so bad.

We have two Toyotas. We use the Toyota garage. It is the Toyota dealership. It is only because we have the Toyotas. We wanted the work done correctly. We did not know where else to go. They are expensive. Yes, they have a waiting room. Yes, they have pop machines. Yes, they have coffee. Pricing is high. Maybe would not go again for oil changes, for other work yes, but there are places that are closer to use and cheaper that we will probably use.

In and out very quickly did not try to upsell me - they were very up front about what it would cost and other typical costs associated with the maintenance (filters etc.) did not pressure me when I indicated that I did not want the extra stuff.

I really like the dealership; they're pretty friendly and very helpful. They just remodeled their waiting room and they have the same set as the other dealership. The restrooms are close by; dispenser for snacks and drinks. It's a comfortable waiting room with magazines and TV...the same thing. They communicate well. We were going on a trip and we were taking this car and the other car was due for an oil change; this one really wasn't yet. It some had some miles to go yet but, I thought by the time I got back from my trip it will be over the miles. That's why I took it. I didn't realize that I needed an inspection at the end of the month so, they were nice enough to remind me that my sticker was going to expire at the end of the month; and did I want to do an inspection, which is very helpful because, I don't know how I didn't think of it. I was glad they brought it to my attention and I did get it inspected then. By the time I got back from our trip, I would have had one day before the end of the month. They keep tabs on your car and I like that. I have never had a problem. They take you right away; they take your car and your information. They will let you know when it will be done and they are usually right on that.

Scheduling is good. I can usually get an appointment in probably when I like; otherwise, they're okay. They do the work, I have not had a problem with them. They waiting room is nice, it's maybe a dozen or more, let's say 15, seating areas and there are three computer nooks if you want to use a computer, your computer, while you are there. It has snack and drink dispenser and a TV and magazine. There's a lot to keep you busy. I haven't had any problems. My concern is that if they tell me something is wrong that its actually wrong. I guess you have that with every dealer. For the price, I have an extended warranty so, some of the things were covered that were done. I haven't had a problem with anything. For punctuality, I usually take it there and leave it there and pick it up later. The times that I have waited I've not waited long, an average amount. We usually continue with the dealership as long as we are satisfied with their service.

    Herky Miller Inc
Herky checked my car for all issues required for state inspection as well as for general maintenance. He added oil and replaced windshield wipers. He advised me to bring the car in monthly to have the oil checked and topped off. I started taking my 2000 Corolla to Herky Miller after moving to Ross Township in the early 2000's, and have continued even after moving to Wexford in 2005.  I have always found Herky himself, his mechanics, and his office staff to be courteous, friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. This is especially important to me as a senior citizen.

    Kollinger Auto Body

Kollinger Auto Body was referred to us by our insurance company.  We took our vehicle to them in early December and they indicated at that time that the repair work would take no more than 1 month.  We got a rental car.  Nearing the 1 month time period, Kollinger indicated that our vehicle was not finished.  On our rental car, we had reached the limit on which our insurance would pay for its cost.  Kollinger indicated that they would pay for our rental car until the work on our vehicle was finished by them.  Over the next 3 months, we received varying accounts from Kollinger representatives as to when our vehicle would be completed.  We also received varying accounts as to why it was taking so long (employee turnover, damaged replacement parts, they were working on several other cars, etc.)  They finally finished our vehicle in April which was nearly 4 months later.  Upon picking our vehicle, the tires were extremely low on air pressure and the Kollinger representative indicated that they had also needed to replace our battery (our vehicle is only 4 years old).  The quality of the actual repair work that they did on our vehicle seems fine at this point.

MAJOR repairs needed to be made to the entire right side of my car, which was damaged in an accident. I was told it would take about 7 business days, but after disassembling the car, they found more extensive damage. On that 7th day, I received an email informing me of the extra damage, and saying that it would take longer to repair. No estimate of time for the extended job was given. I got my car back 3 weeks later (18 business days). Considering the damage, I was not surprised at the time it took. Plus, I think they were very busy at that time. However, communication regarding the return of my vehicle could have been a little better. I was the one initiating contact. The finish date kept getting pushed back, but George in the shop was great about promptly returning my e-mails. The quality of the work, though, was worth the wait. I cannot tell where the damage was, and the paint job is phenomenal. (I'm a very particular person, too.) George had indicated that quality of work was their highest priority. After driving my car for a week or so, I noticed two very minor items that needed to be adjusted. Kollinger did not hesitate to check them out and fix them quickly. (They were simple tweaks.) Kollinger helped arrange a rental car for me while they had my car, so dropping off and picking up was a breeze. The people there are not warm and fuzzy, but they are polite, professional and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them and go back if I need auto body work. I can't imagine getting better service and quality job than I got here.

    1.  Windows/Sun Roof Opened - I went to get something out of my wives car and allthe windows were down and the sunroof.  It seems that happened for one - three days.
    2.  Robbed - Because the car was not secure the car was robbed.  We only keep silver in ourcars, no pennies, so I emptied my change tray to estimate the money, $28.  I told theservice manage the exact count we came to, she sent a check for $15.  It was in badtaste and poor business practice, someone robbed my car and you send me money lesswhat was stolen.  Also no follow up or explanation of how handled, so now you have a thiefeither working for you or coming onto your premises and I have no idea if that has been fixed.
    3.  Broken - The car was never test driven, so they broke the vacuum hose and the car was running without boost.  I had to take my car to a Nissan dealer to get it fixed, because they showed they were not trustworthy to fix the car.
    4.  Warranty - I bought an alternator that was about $500 and they had no idea that there was a lifetime warranty and never provided me with that information.  I found that out on my own and did all the leg work.
I contaced management and they were not sympathetic or helpful.  They wanted me to bring the car back down and said "we will personally over see it."  I guess my original $700 was not worth watching or being made important.  I spent about 3 days getting the car service and running around getting it finally fixed.  They also have ignored my emails and are not responding, so they have simply removed themselves from making it right and do not care about fixing the things they broke.
Overall the customer service was abysmal.  No respect, no care, and no perfection, it was pathetic.
They never test drove the car, they broke my car, and they did not care.  I would never do business there again.

I have been looking for a mechanic for a few years since I moved to the North suburbs. I had been 'stuck' using the dealer near my home and the work was expensive and getting shoddier by the visit, the last straw was when the car ran worse after I picked it up!  At one point I drove all the way to the East suburbs to my former mechanic and used a loaner car from them just because I wanted to get the work done right.  That clearly couldn't continue.  I asked around about this place and so many people heard of him and had used him in the past.  I did a basic inspection as a starter and I did need work done to pass so I had it completed and it was done while I waited but there was no pressure to have them do it (I could take the fail and just bring it back).  They also gave me a quote for other work I needed to have done at some point in the future and it seemed reasonable.  I was there for about 2+ hours in total and while I was there the most interesting things happened. First, they were so nice and polite to everyone that came in even though it was so busy. Then the other customers waiting were also very pleasant. At some point an elderly lady came in unexpectedly and they knew her by name and did a quick check on whatever caused her to come in and got her back on her way. Lastly a delivery person brought in a pizza and soda for the staff. Apparently a customer who was no longer driving anymore and sold his car had lunch delivered to the team to thank them for all their work. What just happened? Really?
No they don't do loaner cars and no they don't have access to public transportation so I do have to take time off work to get my car repaired. But, hopefully with a mechanic that is that good to his customers I won't have to be in that often as the repairs should be done right the first time!
