A+ PLUS CONCRETE & FOUNDATION REPAIR
They did a wonderful job. This was one of the best home project experiences I have had. I have had to deal with many contractors throughout my life time. Many of them range from bad to just adequate. And then there are those who are a real pleasure to have had at their home for a project and this company fits into that category. Gary was super nice -- didn't talk over my head when explaining his recommendations and responded quickly to look at the project and submit a quote. The crew of two workers were also very polite and worked diligently on the job. Any time I went out to check on how things were going they explained what stage the project was in and they cleaned up very well afterwards.

    The Clean Team
Geoff cleaned and pressure washed my concrete patio. He was quick in getting back to me and easy to reach. Patio gets a lot of dirt from trees overhanging it but he and his helper did a nice job. Cleaned up afterward, would use again.

    Window Genie of North Pittsburgh
I had dirty and moldy siding. I bought 2 different attachments for my hose and tried cleaning the siding myself. Waste of money, didnt work. I called Window Genie and someone was at my house the very next day for an estimate. Graham called me on a Sunday afternoon after returning from a charity job he did for a World War II Veteran. I live in a townhouse and share siding with my neighbor. I explained to Graham that my neighbor was retired, on a fixed income and financially wasnt able to have his side cleaned. Graham worked with me to get the job done. His two friendly workers came out on a rainy morning. They got the job done quickly and I have squeaky clean siding.

Advanced Deck Cleaning & Restoration Systems
Excellent work. The deck was cleaned, sanded and painted with 3 coats of paint. They arrived on time, finished when they said they would finish. In addition there was a small issue after the job was complete and paid for which they returned and addressed promptly. Overall excellent work and service.

A+ PLUS CONCRETE & FOUNDATION REPAIR
After a pretty good storm back in June, I had water in our front "cold cellar" of our basement. I had originally thought it was due to some wood rot on the front porch and after having a few handymen out to look at the porch, a couple mentioned that some of the problem was due to the block foundation as there were a lot of cracks and missing mortar joints. I called A Plus Foundation as they were top of the list for foundation repair and Gary was quick to return my calls. He came out about a week later just due to being busy in my schedule. After having another company come out who said they didn't do that work, I was happy with Gary's estimate and set up a date for the work. Due to rain on the day they were scheduled to come out as well as schedule between us, it ended up being pushed back a week and a half but the crew of two (Nick and Cory, I believe their names were) arrived a bit earlier but got right to work. They started by pressure washing to remove any loose mortar. There were a lot of spots that needed work as years of weathering had taken it's toll on the block and I had a large chunk of concrete that had broken off. They took care of everything and ground out several spots and sealed things up. It made the block and areas around it look nearly brand new. I have additional work to repair some big cracks in the concrete slab that I will be having Gary come out in the near future to take a look at. In the end, the estimate Gary gave me ended up being the final cost which is always great Only issue I had was just a little bit of communication when the job had to be rescheduled as it took a few calls with a few days in between before I got a call back before we could get set up with a new date, other than that, it went smoothly

    Kosta Painting & Refinishing LLC
First called Kosta painting for an estimate on our house for the exterior to be repainted. Called three times, left three messages. Finally, a week later, received a call back. Kosta was supposed to come out to my house to give me an estimate. We made arrangements for 1pm on a Saturday. Well, around 12:30 that day, received a voicemail telling me that "his apartment complex flooded, and he would be there around 3pm." Stayed home until 4:30, and Kosta was a no call, no show. He called me multiple times the next day (calling me "Mary" and my name isn't even close to Mary...) to set up a new time. Finally we agreed that I didn't have to be there for the estimate, so he did it without me present. He called me saying that "my house was already painted so he didn't know what he was supposed to be looking at" (my house is tan, wanting to paint it navy blue) but he left an estimate in my mailbox anyway. First off, the estimate looked like a two year old wrote it, I couldn't even make out half the words he wrote...the paper was wrinkled and wet (and it wasn't raining). From what I can make out on the estimate, he was charging me $2200 but taking it down to $1700 for the "inconvience". Well, about 3 days later I received a call from Kosta thanking me for accepting his bid and he would meet with me to go over payments and color choices later this week....(heres a problem, I NEVER ACCEPTED HIS BID. I NEVER CALLED HIM BACK OR EMAILED HIM).......he is VERY disorganized, still calling me the wrong name (when on the estimate my name is on there, spelled wrong, of course) ...long story short I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. He was on the lower end for my bids, but I would rather pay a little more and have someone much more professional get this job done.

    JDF Services
We called Jack (the owner) in the fall to get an estimate on the repair, cleaning, and staining/sealing of our deck. He got back to us quickly and came out on a Saturday to do the estimate. It was too late in the season to do the work and he said he'd call us in early spring. Sure enough, he did! He was ready to schedule the work but unfortunately right at that time we had a short-term medical situation going on. He understood and said he'd call back in a few weeks and he did. We scheduled the work to begin on Monday 5/8. Because the forecast called for warm temps and sun all week Jack thought he'd be able to start the work on Monday and return to complete it on Thursday or Friday. When the forecast changed to Thursday/Friday rain, he called on Tuesday and said he would complete the job on Wednesday which he did. Jack is a consummate professional. He calls and shows up when he says he will and his work is excellent. We highly recommend him!

He took his time power washing each and every crevice, then came back two days later when the wood was dry to seal it.  Both the worker and the office people were very knowledgeable and personable.

    WEXFORD CONSTRUCTION LLC
We began contacting contractors almost 1 year ago to seal the driveway, steps and walkway, including the contractor who did the work originally.   No one wanted this "small" job until we found Wexford Construction.   Because of their busy schedule we settled on a fall date, but the weather was not cooperating and the work had to be moved to spring.   But weather intervened again making the job impossible however, Steve watched the weather and we finally got 2 days in a row with the right conditions.   And actually this worked best, during the spring we had LOTS of seeds from the various trees in the yard falling, so trying to keep the area clean to seal would have been problematic.
Steve and Bob arrived the first day to do the pressure washing.  The second day they arrived in the afternoon, sealed the crack and did all the areas in the shade.  The produce we wanted to use was not one that Wexford normally used and they realized that afternoon the directions stated to not apply in direct sunlight.  Instead of taking chances, Steve decided to come back early the next morning - Saturday - to complete the job done while the concrete was still cool.  I'm not exactly sure when he arrived, but he was here when i got up a little after 7.  By 9am the job was done and looks great.

    Tony Gatto Home Improvements LLC
I had called Tony to come over to give me a price on getting a new roof and gutters. He showed up when he said he would and was very polite and professional and I liked him right away. He answered all of my questions and was very patient and took the time to explain everything to me. He brought over samples of different types of shingles that I could use along with different shades. We agreed on everything and he started the job a week later. He had everything finished in two and a half days. My new roof and gutters look EXCELLENT and I have had no issues since! He did a wonderful job. He cleaned up very nice around the house after he was done and left no debris behind. It was a pleasure to have him work at my house and I will be calling him again for any other work I may need.
